“This is my go-to spot after I get my hair cut at nearby Major League barber shop. The food, service, and atmosphere are all top-notch. I've had the pollo asada and the chorizo & egg tacos, both with rice and beans. 🤤 This is a Veteran/family owned business that takes their food creations and customer relations seriously. It is also SoCal Mex based flavor-wise and takes me back to the neighborhood taco shops in L.A. and San Diego. I look forward to eventually trying everything on the menu.“

“This is a literal hole in the wall, easy to miss in a covered parking lot near the McDonald’s. There’s outdoor seating, pretty much right in the parking lot.

Food quantity is high and the sushi rolls have some of the lowest ratios (in a good way) of rice to non-rice. The fried food was very good, not too greasy with a great crunch and the food tasted very fresh.

Service was exceptionally friendly. The nice man that took our order and served us even brought out some free bottles of water for us.

“I got the pho with rare steak and beef balls and it was amazing. It was just what I was craving and needed. It was light, flavorful and filling. Service was great and quick, and the aunties were attentive. It’s a small restaurant but worth the wait if you come at a busy time.“

“First timr trying Catania Ristorante Italiano at Waimalu Shopping Center. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends. Parking is also a challenge during the busy times. Chinese owners serving Italian food. The food is good, but not memorable good. Pasta is cooked well and their garlic cheese bread is very good. Spaghetti sauce too runny, but the Seafood Linguine is delicious. Prices are affordable, considering the portion size is generous and they don't skimp on the protein. Another plus, it's BYOB, so you can save some e $$$ on your bill.

“One of the best meals I’ve had while traveling in the States! Reminded me of the pho I used to have as a child.

The pho itself was loaded with beef and tendon, the soup was flavourful and sweet and you could taste there was no MSG added. I also ordered the chicken banh mi; the bun was crispy and loaded with chicken and condiments.

“I always go to the airport location for over 12 years. I now found my favorite location. Aiea!! The atmosphere is amazing, food taste great and fresh! Customer service is definitely wonderful!!! Honestly, what really stood out for me is their customer service!!“

“I randomly decided to try out this place and I got the Garlic Chicken plate. The chicken was cooked very well and the service was super fast (I was there at 9 PM). From walking in the ambiance was honestly not there. I feel like if this place had a good feel when you walked in, it could be top tier. I would've given it 4.5 stars if it was possible because it was missing just a little bit of flavor, but I understand that it is primarily a ramen restaurant. I will definitely try it again!“

“The food is always good. Our favorites are the fried chicken, lao sausage, and cashew nut chicken. Sometimes, there's only one server, but they are very polite and efficient and not the kind that get grumpy because they're the only one on the floor.“

“This is the perfect hidden food place that locals go to. Good food, good prices and the service is practically non existent. Meaning, it's 99% take out. There is a small table outside but that's why it's cool. No nonsense food at a good price. I highly recommend the Bento #1, the Katsu and the fried chicken.

“There was a wonderful koi pond in this restaurant. It was not that busy. However, they seemed shorthanded because I kept looking for the waitress for a take out box. Finally, I had to stand up and ask for one from a man in a red shirt who appeared to be helping another table. The food was good. I especially liked the tempura of pumpkin, and string beans, the shrimp tempura was perfect. I ordered miso Butterfish. My husband liked it, but I did not like that it had a lot of black char on it. I read somewhere that the black Char is carcinogenic.“

“We got the chop steak kit a few days ago. It came with everything we needed to prepare the dish even the oil. We had enough for 2 dinners and we truly enjoyed it. “We eat here at least twice a month. Food is always fresh and service is normally fast and friendly. The restaurant is fun and you order from your mobile device and the food is delivered via a train system that runs along the tables. I feel the prices are fair and they have the best French fries! Only complaint would be that this location is always very busy and we usually have to wait 15-30 minutes for a table.“

“We went for lunch on Good Friday and it was not so crowded. Service is great. Food is nice. The setting was not formal and it may pass as a casual setting but not as a casual diner setting thing.

We ordered mozarella in carroza, linguine chicken anchovy olio and chicken portobello. The mozarella and its dip is perfect. The linguine chicken anchovy oil is not salty. The chicken portobello is somewhat on the oily side. But all in all, it was a great food and experience.

I would love to try the other dishes.

Parking: Can get very busy as times, but going early allowed for lots of parking.

Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor, so no stairs to deal with. Handicap stalls are close to their front door.“

I enjoy seeing them every time I go.#2. They have the soju, the Korean beer, the makgeolli.#3 The BBQ is on point, the sides are delicious and the kimchi is always great.If someone doesn’t like this place, then they don’t like real Korean food. A $14 combo plate is more than enough for at least 2 to share (except for some huge blahlas who come here for the grinds). What I want to expand on is the owner who runs the business (well, the kids now run the different locations) and how he cares about running the business, caring about providing good service to the community. (I personally knew him well). He hires young people from the community who needs work opportunity and pays them decently above minimum and benefits. He tries hard to provide quality products at fair prices, an exception to most restaurants now that have skimped on quality and quantity while raising prices (I won't name them but you know who they are - a big Z do come to mind though). I am saying go here not because the owner is a saint or anything like that. Go here because of good food at good prices by a LOCAL family who contributes to local success, how it should be.“
