“I had such a wonderful experience at this Starbucks, thanks to Mari—an absolute gem of a barista. From the moment I walked in, I noticed her warm and friendly energy. She greeted customers with genuine kindness and seemed to know so many regulars by name and order, which was impressive and heartwarming to witness.
Mari paid close attention to my family’s order, especially our dietary restrictions. She made sure everything was labeled correctly and double-checked for dairy accommodations, which made us feel so cared for. Her attention to detail, patience, and sweet demeanor made a big impact on our morning.
The entire Saturday morning crew deserves a shoutout too—they were hustling during the rush but still managed to keep things efficient and upbeat. You could tell they work well as a team, and the vibe in the store was so positive.

“A busy weekday morning, a fully staffed store. This location is the epitome of what Starbucks should be. The store manager was one of the kindest individuals I have ever met. Amazing conversation followed by a nearly empty lobby. Perfect for a relaxing studying session, or to get some work done. My drink was made absolutely perfect. I will be back!“
“Nice location, if you're down with parallel parking. Ordered a breakfast sandwich and a caramel macchiato. When I was done there were two beans at the bottom of my cup. I actually thought it was funny and different. If I had been a bigger creep I would've taken a pic of the girl working there. A real hottie and a good reason to come back“
“What can I say "Starbucks" has set a very high standards for their service, food, facilities& coffee. Nothing has declined since personally my first coffee in 2019. Still excellent, prices did increase, but so did everyone else.“
“I loved this location. It was a short walk from the Cambria hotel that I was staying at. I went every morning during my trip to Chicago. The staff was so nice and friendly. Customer service was great! I actually visited the Starbucks Reserve Roastery on Michigan Avenue and Uber right back to this location because the service, staff and drinks were so better. “I recently visited Starbucks and ordered a Venti Iced Peach Green Tea. Although the service was a bit slow, I know it was crowded, which was likely the reason. The wait was absolutely worth it. The drink was perfectly refreshing and delicious, with the peach flavor complementing the green tea beautifully. It definitely hit the spot on a warm day. I'll be back for sure, the drink is delicious!“

“This is the best Starbucks I've been to in the whole country. That includes various ones in Chicago, Los Angeles and Memphis areas. The service is good and they make your drinks just like you ask. When I come to Chicago this will be the only one I come to from now on.“
“This Starbucks sits next to the L station with ample indoor and outdoor space. A perfect place to work, talk with friends or just sip through a cup of Joe. The baristas are friendly and the store is well kept with window seating soaked in the sun. Love the jazz they play here as well.“

“Fast and friendly service. It was busy but the line kept moving and drinks kept coming in quick order. Waited maybe 5 mins on a Friday morning. The music was a bit loud, but it was a good place to stop and sit for a bit and charge my phone.“

May 2, 2023:. At Starbuck@Mariano I enjoyed a small coffee and blue berry muffin for $6.30 at Starbuck@Mariano's, before I shopped. Too expensive; I agree.
After I saw new Podiatrist, I had a cup of coffee at SBX at4015 N. Lincoln, with a delicious Biscotti Vanilla with roasted nuts.
Of course it was not cheap ---

1. Fastest order turnaround ever. I’ve been a barista before and literally have no idea how they get these orders out so quickly at such high quality! Even for starbucks, these guys are crazy fast.
2. Best customer service. On sooo many occasions everyone here has gone above and beyond! Such kind & compassionate people who really know how to excel at service! I go here often and it’s awesome every time.
3. Cute atmosphere! It’s clean and modern but still feels cozy.

“I normally don't review Starbucks but this one just had such a lovely atmosphere. For being inside a Target there's a bunch of little nooks to sit in and quietly work. The main area has big windows looking out on to the river and it just add to the already calming vibe of the place. My order came out quickly and was delicious! “Alright. I visited at around 3:30 on a school day. It was PACKED with students of all ages waiting for maybe parents to pick them up? Waiting before they go home? The employees were so patient. The students were ordering free waters etc and then leaving messes, spilling water. At one point the employees had to get them into an organized line. Kudos to you both for keeping the peace and patience.My drink was exactly as expected. I found a table to myself eventually so I could relax. “I stopped in, semi-exhausted, on a busy Saturday afternoon, and this couldn't have been a more perfect, brief respite. The bathroom was clean, as Starbucks bathrooms most always are. The service was wonderful. Mark, my barista (running cash register) was *so* friendly - I genuinely felt cared for (really!). There was a small error with my order and Mark made it right immediately, with nothing but smiles. I haven't felt so emphatically about a Starbucks in a long time, and I've been a gold card member for a decade. “I’m using there coffee for more than 4 years , they was very nice and the area is very comfortable but the big and short lady who is serving front is rude , she always angry and gives me bad coffee it’s not coffee at all looks like hot water just she changed the color only. The owner must give her breakfast before she starts work.

“I came into Starbucks on 4701 S Cicero. I ordered a coffee this time. I had an issue with the quality of the paper cups; they dont hold up with the hot drinks. I spoke to the shift manager, Kayli. Kayli is an excellent manager/ employee. She heard my complaint and was sympathetic towards my concerns. She identified me by yhe drink I ordered? WOW WHAT AN EXCELLENT MEMORY.. She then explained that the nxt time I come she would make sure I had a double cup because that was my complaint. She has GREAT managerial skills. I called feeling upset and once I finished the call. “It was a fine Sunday afternoon, skies were grey, clouds covered the sun. But didn’t cover the joy and excitement of our barista. She was the sun for today. Jacque was incredibly nice and helpful to us. She had recommendations for our drinks to make them better, advised us if the drink we were getting was going to be sweet or strong. Truly someone who enjoys her job and wants to make others day and I applaud her for that. Working in customer service is not for the weak. “The Starbucks is in the basement tucked away, making the atmosphere less than ideal. However, the service was quick and friendly, with my drink made in no time. I got a seat without any issues, and had plenty of space to myself.
