“I had such a wonderful experience at this Starbucks, thanks to Mari—an absolute gem of a barista. From the moment I walked in, I noticed her warm and friendly energy. She greeted customers with genuine kindness and seemed to know so many regulars by name and order, which was impressive and heartwarming to witness.
Mari paid close attention to my family’s order, especially our dietary restrictions. She made sure everything was labeled correctly and double-checked for dairy accommodations, which made us feel so cared for. Her attention to detail, patience, and sweet demeanor made a big impact on our morning.
The entire Saturday morning crew deserves a shoutout too—they were hustling during the rush but still managed to keep things efficient and upbeat. You could tell they work well as a team, and the vibe in the store was so positive.

“It was a fine Sunday afternoon, skies were grey, clouds covered the sun. But didn’t cover the joy and excitement of our barista. She was the sun for today. Jacque was incredibly nice and helpful to us. She had recommendations for our drinks to make them better, advised us if the drink we were getting was going to be sweet or strong. Truly someone who enjoys her job and wants to make others day and I applaud her for that. Working in customer service is not for the weak. But someone like Jacque thrives in customer service and loves to elevate the experience for customers. Even wrote a funny note on me and my girlfriend’s drink lol. God bless her heart.“

“I moved to the area a month ago and was excited I have a Starbucks nearby. This location doesn't disappoint. The staff is AWESOME. They are the reason I don't mind spending money here. Kind, friendly, welcoming. Those are the words I would use to describe the staff here. They go out of their way and above and beyond. “If you happen to be at the busiest central part of The Chicago Loop area, at the corner of S Dearborn and W Adams St there's Starbucks -- tall, all in glass and looking ultra-modern. The entrance was open at the Dearborn side of the store. \n\nIt was also busy indoors -- spacious, fashionably designed and well-appointed. It was a late afternoon hour on a very warm September day. We stopped there for some refreshments -- I got 1 T Strawberry Acai Lemonade (mine was total $5.87, with 11.75% tax), my friend opted for 1 Gr Iced Black Tea (priced about the same). We both liked our drinks -- they were very refreshing and tasty. \n\nThis Starbucks had a peculiar ambiance: it was mostly younger generation public -- with laptops, on smartphones, checking the apps, reading, etc. Everybody was busy with all that, either having drinks or waiting for their order to be ready. There was a small line to the counter, with a fast service. The menu on the wall showed colorful images of some fall season beverages under All About Apple and It's a Pumpkin Party.\n\nWe had our drinks at the customer stand, which was just fine for both of us. I also enjoyed the spaciousness and contemporary ambiance of this store. \n\nStarbucks at 131 S Dearborn is located close to many other places of interest and establishments -- some universities, a subway station, casual cafes and restaurants. The Art Institute of Chicago is just several minutes walk east from this Starbucks.“

it can get a little busy around 3pm during weekdays when kids get out of school but other than that no complaints!“

“I loved this location. It was a short walk from the Cambria hotel that I was staying at. I went every morning during my trip to Chicago. The staff was so nice and friendly. Customer service was great! I actually visited the Starbucks Reserve Roastery on Michigan Avenue and Uber right back to this location because the service, staff and drinks were so better. Every interaction I had with the staff here was so pleasant.“

“This is the best Starbucks I've been to in the whole country. That includes various ones in Chicago, Los Angeles and Memphis areas. The service is good and they make your drinks just like you ask. When I come to Chicago this will be the only one I come to from now on.“

“I normally don't review Starbucks but this one just had such a lovely atmosphere. For being inside a Target there's a bunch of little nooks to sit in and quietly work. The main area has big windows looking out on to the river and it just add to the already calming vibe of the place. My order came out quickly and was delicious! “First off I’ve been working here downtown since November I come to this exact location across from my job every other day for a coffee by now they know my exact drink when I come in so friendly and speaks right upon arrival and my fave Barista has to be Daniel by far Danny is very attentive tidy friendly and knows exactly what you need I love our lil mini chats before going in and also learn me to where my drink is getting prepared as I walk in !!! “I just wanted to share an amazing experience I had at this Starbucks. I am a new coffee drinker and had not yet explored the world of cold coffee. I stopped by this Starbucks because it is right by my home and usually has a pleasant atmosphere. I asked the nice young man behind the counter (Daniel) to explain cold brew to me a bit more. He explained the difference between cold coffee, cold espresso and cold brew in understandable detail. While I was still sitting in the cafe he brought me a small sample of each so I could try it. That is what I call exceptional customer service and he was so pleasant and friendly the entire time. He convinced me to get a salted caramel cold brew and now that is one of my favorite go to drinks. Thanks again Daniel!“

Clean well organized and looked like folks took pride in the place. Super friendly staff in a genuine way. “This location is around the corner from my place. I frequent here about 3x a day, coffee, iced tea, pink drink, whatever really. Dunkin, usually over pours on their cream and sugar, so Starbucks is my go to. I always get a smile and good conversation from all the employees. No complaints here. Just an observation, (App orders, y'all nuts when you order online, and forget or get your drink remade, because you took too long to get it.)“

“I came into Starbucks on 4701 S Cicero. I ordered a coffee this time. I had an issue with the quality of the paper cups; they dont hold up with the hot drinks. I spoke to the shift manager, Kayli. Kayli is an excellent manager/ employee. She heard my complaint and was sympathetic towards my concerns. She identified me by yhe drink I ordered? WOW WHAT AN EXCELLENT MEMORY.. She then explained that the nxt time I come she would make sure I had a double cup because that was my complaint. She has GREAT managerial skills. I called feeling upset and once I finished the call. “I like this location nestled in an older building with other locations to frequent. Nice outside courtyard so you can sit outside on nice days. After I saw new Podiatrist, I had a cup of coffee at SBX at4015 N. Lincoln, with a delicious Biscotti Vanilla with roasted nuts.

“This is a fun Starbucks! The employees were great! Super nice to my pain in the butt, 5 year old twins. Some of the customers were annoyed by our presence, too bad. My Mom lives at the facility down the street, and this is a close location to meet up so she can get out and hang with her grandchildren. We love this Starbucks!!!“
“The Starbucks is in the basement tucked away, making the atmosphere less than ideal. However, the service was quick and friendly, with my drink made in no time. I got a seat without any issues, and had plenty of space to myself.
