“my best friend and I just had the BEST experience at the whale! Our waitress taylor was incredible and the manager (so sorry but we never got his name because he was just being so nice to us) was incredible as well. We will definitely return with friends and recommend anyone to try it out! classy, but not snobby, cool decor, warm kind and accommodating staff, and great food and cocktails are just the cherry on top! try the carrot cake after your meal :) Thank you again to taylor and the manager again <3“

“I'm from Iowa, took a little weekend trip to Chicago. A friend told us we HAD to try Lula's. SO thankful we did. I will be traveling back to Chicago just to take my mom here. Outstanding service from every single employee, incredible food, and just overall 10/10. Absolutely recommend.“

“We had an excellent experience. Service was exceptional. Food was well timed and delicious. Ordered Garlic Knots, baked mozzarella, arrancini, Caesar salad, bolognese, veal parm, pizza, shrimp scampi, tiramisu.

Everything was super delicious. Portions were large. We took home leftovers. I would definitely come back. Did not get pics of everything. Atmosphere was lovely and perfect for date night but casual enough that my family felt welcome for an early dinner. I especially loved that they fry their chicken/veal parms in a separate fryer and the flavor is amazing.“

“We had a fair experience at Lilac Tiger. Went in on a Friday night and were seated fairly quickly. My cocktail was great. My friend's, not so much. We ordered the vada pav and the chettinad paneer curry. My friend also got mussels. Everything was alright. Very few vegetarian options and the ones we ordered were okay. Service was a little spotty. The hostess who greeted and seated us was very professional and was amazing.
We weren't super impressed but the place is worth checking out and we will definitely want to give it another try.“

“Had a great experience last night! Arrived around 615 on a Thursday and sat right down. I really like the concept of ordering before you sit. We were still checked in on by multiple people during our dinner!

Food and drinks were excellent. Don’t skip the milk bread and fries. My favorite dish though was 100% the foie tart?“

“Everything about our meal was great! The service was a little slow. Lots of time between water then drinks then food then checking in. We had a lovely seat by the fountain which was a nice treat for my sisters birthday. When I made the reservation I clicked birthday celebration. When we arrived to the restaurant I informed the host stand that it was my sisters birthday. Alas, when it came time for dessert the dessert comes out with no candle. I could see the disappointment in my sisters face since like 3 other birthdays were being celebrated that day. I had to awkwardly ask if we could get a candle for her because no matter our age, everyone should get to make a wish on their birthday. We even paid for dessert so I was not looking for a freebie, I was simply looking to make her feel special. I will be back but I think we will take special occasions elsewhere.“

“We had a wonderful dinner at Prairie Grass Cafe. The spring rolls were loaded with delicious perfectly cooked shrimp and the accompanying sauce (sweet chili with garlic and cilantro) plays nicely with them. The flounder with roasted carrots and parsnip-potato purée was as delicious as it looks. It was generously portioned and beautifully plated. We also enjoyed the mussels with parsley, shallots, and breadcrumbs pasta. My husband is Sicilian and it reminded us of the pasta con le sarde that we love to have in Sicily. The mussels were plump and delicious. The wine list is very nice. We found wines we really enjoyed and they were reasonably priced. We enjoyed the Attems, Pinot Grigio, Friuli, Italy ‘22 with our mussels and flounder, and the Fritz Haag, Riesling, Germany ‘21 with our pumpkin pie for dessert. Service was perfect.“

“Had dinner last night. We had an excellent server named Carly. She was extremely friendly and answered our questions. She came back to the table several times to check on us.
It was refreshing to dine out and be treated so nicely.
We also chatted with Patrick the manager who we talked with each time we have been to FatPour and he is an absolute sweetheart too.
All in all good experience and we will return!

The intimate setting felt like dining in a friend's cozy kitchen. Service was warm and knowledgeable, making the experience even better. Spent around $150 with a glass of wine. Can't wait to return for the full 12-course menu.“

“I just hosted my wedding at Chief O’Neill’s on Saturday and it could not have been more perfect. Siobhan and her team took amazing care of us! The venue is stunning, the food is phenomenal, and every one of our guests was gushing about how impressed they were by everything! The back beer garden is so magical, you would have thought we spent tens of thousands of dollars to dress it up, but we didn’t need to. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue to host a wedding, party, shower, or intimate event, you should definitely give them a visit!“

“I did not know what to expect when I found out we were going to a restaurant on this level for our anniversary. I was apprehensive about what was going to be served to us.
This place is amazing! Our 3 hour food extravaganza had us eating things I've never heard of, and we were overwhelmed by the presentation and overall experience.
The icing on the cake was having one of the top chefs in the WORLD serving our dessert and then greeting us in the kitchen where we had a discussion about food, etc.
It was one OMG moment after another. The staff is well versed in making the experience one to remember.
It is quite pricy (another reason I never figured I would ever go there), but it is so worth it.
