“The food was so delicious!! We got garlic knots and truffle mushroom arancini and it was so good! For dinner we got vodka pasta and build your own pizza. The New York style pizza is delicious with a thin and crispy crust. Service was great, our server checked in on us often and answered all our questions. For dessert we had amaretto tiramisu which was so yummy!! I will be coming back and recommending this restaurant to others!“

“Last Friday evening ( Oct 17, 2025 ) I came in with my 2 sons - we are regulars at the Glenview Yardhouse for years now - we are always treated so kindly , my sons and I Love The Atmosphere, The food is always just The Best - my sons are always asking me when are we driving back down to The Yardhouse in Glenview :)) The music selection is So Awesome also ! The server Matt took care of us last Friday and he was So Kind Always !!!!!!! My sons Love The Cheeseburgers and Hanging Bavarian Pretzels, the Calamari, the Mac and Cheese , the Orange chicken and Jasmine rice , the loaded pepperoni pizza and the desserts !!! We always leave with lots and lots of leftovers :))“

“We had a wonderful dinner at Prairie Grass Cafe. The spring rolls were loaded with delicious perfectly cooked shrimp and the accompanying sauce (sweet chili with garlic and cilantro) plays nicely with them. The flounder with roasted carrots and parsnip-potato purée was as delicious as it looks. It was generously portioned and beautifully plated. We also enjoyed the mussels with parsley, shallots, and breadcrumbs pasta. My husband is Sicilian and it reminded us of the pasta con le sarde that we love to have in Sicily. The mussels were plump and delicious. The wine list is very nice. We found wines we really enjoyed and they were reasonably priced. We enjoyed the Attems, Pinot Grigio, Friuli, Italy ‘22 with our mussels and flounder, and the Fritz Haag, Riesling, Germany ‘21 with our pumpkin pie for dessert. Service was perfect.“

“As always, the food, waitstaff and the management were wonderful, but the evening got off to a rocky start as we were not told until we got there that the kitchen was closing at ten. Our reservation was for 9:45 and some in our party didn't get there until after 9:55, so there was chaos at the start. Turns out the web site said that the kitchen was closing at 10, but it would have been much more pleasant if we were explicitly told when we made the reservation that this was going to be the case. The restaurant stayed open much later so we had a chance to enjoy the food, service and New Years Eve. We do definitely recommend Fat Pour and we will be returning.“

The atmosphere was lively but still cozy — the kind of spot that feels perfect for catching up over good food and drinks. I ordered the Monarch cocktail and the signature Gretel Griddle Burger, and both were amazing. The Monarch was perfectly balanced — refreshing, smooth, and beautifully made. The burger absolutely lived up to the hype: juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the food came out quickly even though the place was busy. Between the great service, relaxed vibe, and delicious food, Gretel definitely impressed me!“

I did the tasting menu and splurged on a wine pairing—loved the beet-and-rutabaga courses and that butter-poached whitefish—flavors were poppin’. Vibe felt cozy but elevated, servers were super chill and knew their stuff. Would totally come back.“

“We had the best time here for an early dinner before heading downtown for a show. Highlights of the meal are the French Onion Toast and Ricotta Gnocci. They also have a mocktail menu which had some delicious drinks on it. Will definitely be back soon!“

“Amazing experience! We had the food truck at our sons birthday party! Not only are they delicious but also amazing customer service!!! They were so nice, engaged with everyone, and my son loved the men working and he’s two so he loved doing fist bumps and they even cut his chicken tenders up for me so they would cool faster. “We reserved a table for two for an early Christmas Eve dinner, and the experience was wonderful from start to finish. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas, which made the evening feel extra special. We were quickly greeted by our server, Ashley, who was super attentive. She put in our drink order right away and brought out their complimentary soda bread, which was a great touch. We ordered the Shepherd’s pie and a wedge salad with chicken, everything was absolutely delicious, and the portions were quite large. We really enjoyed our time there and will definitely be back in the summer to enjoy their patio.“

Each time, I was greeted with a smile, respected, served delicious food and drinks and thoroughly enjoyed my experience - even enough to sit and dine in (that doesn’t happen often).

I have not had one thing on this menu I didn’t like - both drinks and food. But I came back for the wontons a few times ;)

“We had such a fun and wonderful experience! I came in with my friends for a quick glance cs they said the place looked pretty. The meals were top-notch and the staff were so caring towards your comfort and preferences! I got the Kids French Toast after meal as a treat for myself, and I almost ascended from the sweetness! It was just that good 😍👌 I wish I took a whole pic of my friends meals too cs theirs looked so presentable and delicious 🤤 Over all, the place was so aesthetically pleasing and the decorations were adorable! I wish we had arrived at a less busy time, but we will definitely come early next time for the best experience!“
