The bakery called me back promptly as I was sitting at the airport in Boston, I sent over a picture of the unicorn cake I envisioned, and they had it ready along with 2 dozen cupcakes that day! Also ordered their butter cookies and the broffee and it was all a huge hit with our guests. Thanks again for coming to the rescue. My daughter and her friends absolutely fell in love with the magical unicorn cake.“

Wow what a selection. I purchased a chocolate cupcake, two love pucks, cinnamon rolls, poppy lemon bread, baguette, and aNutella sandwich cookie. Everything was really delicious. I mean world class quality. I now plan on making regular visits to Chicago so I can load up and fill my freezer with possibly the best GF baked goods in the U.S. I’ve tried a lot.“

“FYI- don’t take photos. I got into trouble for taking a picture. Wish they had a sign on the door that read “No pictures taking allowed”. Their food is very natural flavor that isn’t artificial anything. No high fructose corn syrup or anything super rich with flavor. To me everything tasted dull. I tried the brownies and they weren’t anything I would indulge in again. very light and natural. I did like the macaroons, those were excellent. I will definitely be buying them again. We spent $185 and pre-ordered our food for a mother’s day gift. We had to come and pick it up which was over an hour drive. But it’s the only place I know that makes 100% Organic since whole foods sold out to Amazon.“

“Some of the best vegan banh mi in the city, you'd be hard pressed to find better. The lemongrass tofu is my favorite but the BBQ vegan is also to die for. The ingredients taste very fresh, bread is fresh, herbs are really nice, and they're made to order and you can really tell. Also pretty good prices in the year of 2026.

There are some dead animals on display near the counter, so keep that in mind if that bothers you.“

They said they didn’t have any chocolate chip cookies. So I called the one off Touhy Ave in Niles and the fellow named Cesar was super friendly and helpful and said they’d honor it. So I drove there and they did! At the store, Cesar was super friendly and the other fellow working there too. So nice compared to the employees at the Crumbl near me in Skokie. I avoid that location at all costs! They (Skokie location) have no customer service skills and would benefit from some training in customer service. Could learn a thing or two from Cesar and his coworker.“

Nova lox is typically known for being less salty than regular smoked salmon, but in this case, it was overly salty and overwhelmed the other flavors. The toppings, like cream cheese, capers, and onions, were well-balanced, but the saltiness of the salmon really detracted from the overall experience.

I also decided to try the apricot cookie, but that turned out to be a mistake. I was surprised to learn it cost nearly $5—far more than I expected for a single cookie. Unfortunately, the taste was disappointing; it was so unpalatable that I couldn’t even finish it. The texture was dense and off-putting, and the apricot flavor was barely there.
