“Everything was great but when I looked to check my order my large fries were only filled half way, maybe even less then half so I mentioned it to the person at the drive thru window and he exchanged it giving me a fresh one filled to the top and apologized for that mistake too. I thanked him for being very polite and understanding but mostly for satisfying the customer as should be done. Other then that food and service was great!“

“We had Cafe 53 cater our entire wedding and the food was phenomenal! Our guests can’t stop talking about the smoked brisket to this day. Jess and her team are amazing to work with and their communication through out the entire process was great. While they have a standard catering menu, they are willing to make whatever you want and cater to your dietary needs. We had a bbq/comfort food style menu and it was a hit. The staff was on time with their services and were on top of it the entire time. The cost was a great price as well which is always a bonus. So thankful that we went with Jess and Cafe 53 for our big day!“

“I just love this place. Nice, quiet, chill cafe with WiFi and soft music. You can do homework, work, or just go for chat with a friend. My favorite is the Elvis smoothie or honey nut latte and a turkey sausage breakfast sandwich on English muffin. Prices are reasonable. Staff is friendly.“

This year, my sister—who lives out of state—sent our father a Starbucks e-gift card for Father’s Day. Since he’s currently homebound and unable to get out, she sent it to me to pick something up on her behalf. I stopped by the Starbucks in Crete, IL, and let me tell you… they did not disappoint.

From the moment I drove up, I was met with genuine kindness and outstanding customer service. I explained the situation to the barista (I wish I had gotten his name!), and he went above and beyond to help me create a thoughtful surprise for our dad.

He carefully packaged the order, added extra touches to make it feel gift-worthy, and even used regular tissue paper in the most creative way—transforming it into something that looked just like gift bag filler. ✨That level of care, thoughtfulness, and creativity didn’t go unnoticed. 🥰My sister was blown away by the presentation when I sent her photos.

Thank you to the Crete Starbucks team for your compassion, professionalism, and for making a long-distance gift feel so personal and special. It meant the world to our family.

I also tried their hibiscus tea, which was so refreshing and full of natural flavor.

“Great place for boba, dessert, and a drink. They had lots of choices and cakes, and got the mango drink which was a summer deal for $11-$12 including a donut. The mango was very good and had some jelly at the bottom, but way too much ice, so the drink lasted only a little bit. This is a super expensive boba shop in my opinion, which small crepe slices over $10 each. They asked for a tip like most places do but the person working there didnt call my name, which was annoying. But a worthwhile stop after a fancy meal and great atmosphere“

“Just went in the drive thru and I had the pleasure of interacting with Jason. He was so sweet and provided amazing service. I actually always have great service when I come here, the staff is absolutely lovely, but I wanted to mention Jason in particular cause he really was amazing and kind. Management, give him a raise cause he’s doing his job right and deserves it.

Also is there a way to tip when I get my card scanned on the app? Because I wasn’t given the option on the app which I thought they used to do. Anyway 10/10 would recommend this location! Plus the pink drink is sooo delicious.“

However, the darkness is not conducive for my studying; so, I usually grab a coffee and bounce.LOCATION:When you walk into Swift, you walk in a diagonal to the left. You will see an opening to a stairwell. You descend the stairs and then turn to the left and descend a few more. It's straight ahead.There is also an elevator to the basement; when you enter Swift it's on the right.SERVICE:I've found the staff is usually in good spirits and friendly. However, every now and again, you get someone who doesn't seem to be having a good day. It happens to all of us.“

“For a small Dunkin, the morning crew is always friendly and on point. The evening crew is too, but I mostly go in the AM.

The donuts are not same and not made in house, but that's most of them, now.

I mostly get drinks and never had an issue.“

Stans in hyde park has become apart of many of my friends and law student friends at u of c staple. Camille and staff are super delightful.
