“Went to the nearby beach and walked over to eat. I got an ice cream and chicken sandwich. My ice cream was wonderful, tall, and cold. My sandwich was really good. I still think about that ice cream. I put some in my root beer, took turns licking it between me and a friend, and even stood outside for a bit. It didnt melt too much and the people on shift were super nice and great. 10/10 will be coming again for the ice cream and root beer!“

“Wonderful space for black people looking to share their art or make friends. I was immediately welcomed and made to feel comfortable. They do require food purchase but it’s worth it, the quesadillas came with this unique mango salsa I loved.“

“Wow! I'm so excited because we finally have a coffee spot right her on the East Side! The Mexi Mocha is my favorite, but the Cold Brew and Café de Olla are also delicious. Every drink that I've tasted had been superb! As far as the pastries and sandwiches, my family has tasted several and enjoyed them all. The bacon, egg, and cheese croissant is what keeps me coming back though! Don't miss this spot for great coffee, food and vibes!“

“First time here and I will be back. Really liked the ambiance and food. The food seemed really fresh. I had the avocado toastband the bread and avocado was so soft and rich. I also had some tea and was was surprised how large a small cup was. Lastly I liked the ambiance and neighborhood feel.“

“This place is a sleeper that makes a great garlic chicken salad sandwich on a dutch crunch bread.

A dutch crunch bread, when baked, has a pillowy inside but the exterior is a crispy crackled crust that looks similar to the bark og a tree/log. And the crunch is second to none!!! This should be used on all sandwiches!!!

The creamy garlic chicken salad has chunks of premium white meat with a hint of garlic, followed by heat from the giardeneria. All this is wrapped up with liberal amounts of cooling shredded lettuce. And the sub sandwich was huge and price point was fairly low at under $13 for this size. Definitely going to come back and try other ones in the future.

The space is small and dark, a bit cramped and many students tend to be socializing or studying. And that makes sense since these prices are relatively less than other similar delis.“

“Very cozy and peaceful. The owner was there the day I visited he made me a show lavender latte and ask me to taste before leaving counter to assure it was too my liking. I had a blueberry muffin that was fresh and delightful. The service was nice the latte and muffin were delicious and it was quiet and cozy enough for me to do my work meetings. Definitely will be a regular.“

“Honestly, the sterile, corporate feel of this cafe motivates me to work hard so I can finish my work quickly and get out. There's always some person coming in to yap the representatives' ears off, so just be prepped to overhear some old guy recounting his war stories to Capital One sales reps while you're finalizing a report.

I do see how busy they are and I completely understand it's out of their control on how busy it gets, but I hope it does get better. “I come here all the time now to do work. There's a solid menu, a super good matcha chia pudding, a ton of very aesthetically pleasing space for working, free wifi, and lots of outlets. I regularly see people I know, too! I recommend if you are meeting with friends or working on your own. There's plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating.“
