“Excellent meal for Valentine's Day! We had the special Valentine's Day menu (pretty much all new entrees) and it did not disappoint. The pork "spring roll" was amazing, as was the beef with grits and wish they could appear on their regular menu one day. The service was excellent as always. “Little Saigon is a friendly and welcoming white-tablecloth restaurant offering an extensive Vietnamese menu of deliciously prepared and graciously served appetizers, entrees, and side dishes. On this, our first visit, we were seeking pho, and were amply rewarded with generous snd delicious servings of both a chicken pho and a beef pho, and our vegetarian Spring rolls were a great start. “We went here randomly and the outside of this restaurant- in a strip mall - does not do the inside or the delicious food justice. Inside it’s both elegant and yet still down to earth, with a full bar, beautiful plants everywhere, and impeccable service. We ordered three different items and each was fresh and tasty, and prepared with fresh ingredients. I’d say the food isn’t overly salted / nor overly heavy, so you may find yourself asking for a squeeze of lime or salt to spruce something up, but we really enjoyed ourselves immensely. We can’t wait to come back!“

There was an extreme cold and strong wind alert today, which might explain why it wasn’t very crowded, even on a Saturday night.
There were plenty of seats available, the service was great, and the food was absolutely fantastic, truly delicious. The atmosphere is very clean and pleasant.
Prices are fair and in line with the market average. When it’s time to pay, you need to go to the counter.

“My wife and I stopped by yesterday on our way home from Baltimore because we didn't want to eat there and found this place by chance on Google. We live near Dumfries and would gladly come back. We also met the owner. My wife had the soup with crab and chicken and I had a noodle dish with homemade peanut sauce and pork. We also ordered the spring rolls. It was her first time trying Vietnamese food and it certainly won't be our last time here. Very kind people and amazing food. This is a hidden gem.“

The new soft-shell crab with tamarind sauce is so yummy and reasonably priced. I will definitely come back for their delectable chimichurri steak. “Phonatics is great — we live right by it and go there frequently for pho on cold days when we want to warm our soul, and banh mi in the summer when we want the tender chicken with pickled onion on a crunchy baguette. The sandwich was not very hot and there were no jalapeños on it. (I was not a fan of the egg on it, either, but that is on me for not reading the menu more carefully.) Unfortunately, the chicken pho broth was not nearly as flavorful as I was hoping and the soup was carried by the condiments. Portion was huge for a good price. Good flavour everything, especially broth of Bún Mắm which is very hard to get a nice balance. We also had 33. BBH but forgot to take pic cause I was starving.
The only thing disturbing me is that the lady gave us some attitudes cause our group of four did takeaway afterwards but gave too little tip compared to another customer who was alone.
The services should really do better, cause this place is really cooking good dishes.“

“I got the Com Tam (which is broken rice with grilled pork, sunshine fried egg, shredded pork skin, and chả trứng) last Saturday (Aug 9,2025); the taste is like homemade food. This made me remember back when I ate Com tam in VietNam way back long time ago. I loved the grilled pork, which was tender and the chả trứng (VN steamed Egg meatloaf) is kind of cold, I knew that they had made before, it didn’t not have time to do everything in the morning. For me, it’s ok since the kitchen had to prepare for the food. Overall, I like this Com tam, with a Ok price , around $18 for a dish like this. And I’m happy with that. This brought back the time I was in secondary school and I always picked Cơm Tấm for almost every lunch while I had a break time in school. Thanks.“

“We stayed in Virginia for 2 days, but this was the only restaurant we kept coming back for because their bun bo was delicious, and that comes from southern Californians who frequently have authentic, good bun bo. We tried many other items on the menu as well. All was great & so fresh! Our 2nd favorite was stir-fried baby clam with crispy rice paper.

“I found this restaurant, just a couple of blocks from my hotel. It was absolutely packed during lunchtime. I ordered the Canh chua (Vietnamese, sweet and sour) soup with shrimp. It was amazing. It’s very hard to find this soup in Vietnamese restaurants so when I do, I always order it. I saw the other dishes coming out - pho and fresh spring rolls - and it all looked great. I also had the Vietnamese iced coffee, which was fantastic. The servers were very busy, but also attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant!“
