“Omg!!! I live in Texas and had a Strawberry Cheesecake delivered to my parents for their anniversary (lives in DC). Her customer service was amazing. She even recommended the Strawberry Cheesecake. It was a hit. I just placed a order for Christmas. Also my dad is a chocolate fiend. He loved the thank bag with the chocolate. I definitely recommend Queen Cheesecake for your next event.“

“This place has great flowers in the spring time and yummy donuts - but donuts increased about $3 for a dozen since November (now $12.50) and flowers also are about 2x the price of what they used to be. I won't be going as often anymore, but will still pay a visit to get my donut fix!“

“Chocolate pistachio croissant - 5 stars. so good and will be returning for this. Any place that has pistachio pastries is a place for me. Morning bun - very flavorful (cardamom & lemon) but a bit too dry for me. 3 stars Espresso & tonic - I did not like this at all, and will definitely get a safer drink option next time. There was a line at 130pm which I was surprised about, but it moved very quickly and we had no trouble finding a seat. Cute place, will be returning!“

“The selection is limited, but their breads are incredible. The cranberry walnut bread is the same bread found at le diplomate. My favorite bread is the black sesame harissa. Expect to wait in line. Only about three people fit in the store at a time, but it’s worth it.“

“Upon entering the facility, I was showing my mom what cookies were available for the week, waiting for the kiosk when one of the employees asked if we would like help. They took our order and showed us the beautiful cookies. I had a jammy heart cookie that was sweet and delicious!“

“I got the chocolate croissant, and was really surprised when I realized it was a whole wheat croissant. The first whole wheat croissant I've ever had, and it really adds a nice nutty flavor to the croissant. The texture of the inside is also a bit chewier than your average croissant, with a lovely crisp on the outside. I just wish there was a bit more chocolate, but the croissant itself was wonderful, and I'm super glad I got to try the whole wheat. I also got a cortado, which was just ok. This is definitely a bakery first, so would highly recommend stopping by and grabbing some of the pastries!“

“Phenomenal Bakery!!! The individual who assisted me (I believe his name was Tony). Decorated beautiful cupcakes for me on the spot for a last minute birthday dinner I was heading too that same day. EVERYONE at the dinner spoke about how delicious & beautiful the cupcakes were. The birthday girl later said it was the best Red Velvet Cupcake she has ever tasted in her life lol. “Amazing experience at Casa Blanca Bakery. Arrived in a Tuesday evening about 6:30pm and it was packed with men collecting pasteries and breads to bring home to the dinner table.I enjoyed the chocolate cake and the AWESOME INCREDIBLE DELICIOUS espresso cake!!! OMG.Loved the atmosphere of a quality family bakery. Everyone was friendly and the product was great quality. Will definitely go again.Next Time:. “We are so glad to see this cafe do well in our neighborhood. I believe in cafes in every neighborhood. We walk our dog every morning and grab hot chocolate and coffee when we walk by this place. They have recently redid their interiors. Looks much spacious now and very welcoming. With my drinks, I often get their samosa or spinach puffs. It's so good. For lunch, my go to is their Ethiopian combo. They have 5 different veggies and recently added meat as well. Absolutely delicious! Depending on how busy they are, expect to wait for the Ethiopian entree. Worth it.“

“This is an awesome coffee shop! The staff was friendly and provided quick service. The cardamom muffin was fantastic, and Wydown had some of the best coffee in the city! The location wasn’t enormous, but it had enough seating for everyone that visited when we were there. If you like coffee, make sure to visit Wydown!“

“I found Sweet Almond at a wedding expo but used her services for a corporate event and she didn't disappoint. I ordered a variety of macarons and Leah was great to work with from the beginning! “This was such a lucky find! I took a chance using a Too Good to Go and bought a birthday cake for my son. It was so fresh and delicious! I was worried when I pulled into shopping center because it’s in an industrial area, next to a Uhaul place. But when I walked up, the outside sidewalk was decorated with two huge teddy bears at a tea table sharing a pastry. It gave me a good feeling about the shop that the owner went to the trouble to make a cute display. And inside, the bakery is spotless. My Spanish is rusty, but the staff spoke enough English I had no problems. They also have a little hot food case and I bought a delicious vegetarian tamale and coffee to m, which were inexpensive, very filling, and really tasty. I will definitely be back.“

“Service is great , most of the time it’s pretty busy, very popular local place. I love the tortas they make although they may sometimes run out of avocados.But if you go in early in the morning close to when the open I hope you get to taste the amazing tortas they make. They are all very hard works and try their best to keep things clean and organized and bring good service to those who wake up very early in the morning for work.“

“I am very picky about my desserts. I've tried a lot more than most people, so I only like the best. I ordered a red velvet cake for my bf's birthday and it is the best red velvet cake we've found locally.The icing was sweet, but not too sweet, and the cake was moist and delicious. I really appreciated that the red velvet wasn't just red plain cake, but actually had a hint of chocolate like red velvet should. The cake to icing ratio was also good.The cake appearance is like a home bakery, so I went in with the expectation of it being like that. In the end taste is king. I will note we had a small snafu with pick-up, but Timmy followed up with communication which I appreciated. It's nothing that would prevent me from trying Timmy's again for some other cakes.“

“date of visit: Wed Aug 23, 2023 After walking through the city -we felt we deserved a sweet treat. We stopped into Larry's ice cream to satisfy our sweet tooth. Larry's is a small ice cream parlour on the lower level of a building. if you arent paying attention, you might miss it. The flavours of ice cream were very unique - i had never seen anything like this before. Obviously this is a small batch, hand-crafted artisinal ice cream. Oatmeal cook dough, Ginger (Peach, Brandy, Ginger) Pistachio , cardamom almond, and many others. We ordered a double scoop in a waffle cone. THe flavours were very good and quite unique. We enjoyed the ice cream very much. Quality ingredients, top notch flavours, and hand made - these things are worth paying a premium price for. The portions are a little smaller than you might get at some ice cream shops - but NOT compared to the big BR ice cream.“

“Awesome restaurant with a great selection of food. Atmosphere is nice as well. The food is amazing from the soups to pastries. Everything is mad from scratch I finally got to try a turkey club sandwich being that it's all turkey products. I also order the grilled salmon greens and yams. I tired the beans soup was phenomenal. My take home order was curry chicken salad 1/2lb, side of yams, mac n cheese. The sweetpotatie pie, bean pie & strawberry cheese cake was the desert taken home. “We stopped here for lunch because it was dog friendly, but that's only outside on the patio so thankfully we found a small table available. We ordered at the counter and they gave us a marker so they could bring the food to us. I ordered the Brussels sprout salad and added falafel. This salad was so amazingly delicious. I love roasted Brussels sprouts, and this hit the spot and was surprisingly filling. However, I wish there had been some other items in there to add some variety to the dish. My husband got the southwest salad and that came with chicken chorizo, black beans, cheese and avocado and he enjoyed it and it was also very filling. Very good and would recommend this restaurant.“

“I stumbled upon the new location at Tanger Outlet. The Nana pudding cheesecake was recommended. It was good. It's a bit pricey. I'd like to try the pecan cheesecake. In terms of atmosphere, it's like a carryout situation because of the location. The decor was cute.“

“A small dine-in kitchen serving delicious vegetarian Caribbean/ Soul Food,spicy and tasty. I had what I thought were ribs ( I'd forgotten it serves vegetarian food ) and under the yummy barbecue sauce, surprise! Something like a croquette but made of beans. My 2 sides, collard greens and potato salad were also very good. I'll be back soon for more!Vegetarian options: Everything is vegetarian. As I mentioned,the "ribs" are actually made of beans. I thank him for his response.My hope is that the company will fix their website order form so that ordering is more user friendly, reflects better accuracy to prevent errors like this, and aligns with other restaurants of this caliber.I am pleased with the outcome of an unfortunate experience and will not be out $233.The company did not ask I modify the review. I did it because it's the right thing to do when a company does everything they can to right wrongs.---3/16/24We unfortunately did not get to taste the food but I bet the Uber driver that the restaurant used to third-party deliver it enjoyed the $233 worth of bakery items. When I ordered directly from the bakery's website, there was no indication of them hiring Uber Eats to deliver the food at the time of the order.Be warned that when you order directly from the company's website, not only is the website order page not user friendly, it doesn't auto-populate addresses which resulted in an address error therefore us not getting our order. I did include the name of the hotel we asked for the food to be delivered since the address bar didn't auto populate. The order form page needs to be fixed to reflect the user-friendliness of other website order forms.We did not order directly through Uber Eats but this was the delivery service chosen for us by the restaurant.We've been given the run around thus far about what to do with our order that the Uber driver didn't return to the store nor delivered to us. The restaurant told us that once it's out of their hands, they can't do anything and to contact Uber. Uber says that it's not their fault and to contact the restaurant.I'm sure the food here is great but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Hopefully resolve will happen soon with the general manager. I think this could be remedied in the future for other customers by tightening up and fixing the website's order form to make it auto populate addresses so exact locations of hotels, business, and other named addresses auto populate when you put in the name of the location. Also, give more accurate delivery times. For example, do not have an 8am delivery slot available if you open at 8am and actually cannot deliver until 9am. Also, the way the layout is for ordering items could be more user friendly. In the meantime, I am out $233.“

“Always enjoy picking up Ravenhook’s baguettes, sourdough, cookies, croissants and a variety of other baked goods when I go to Mosaic’s Farmers Market on Sundays. The staff are always helpful and informative and the bread is always delicious and baked well - nice crunchy crust with a soft inside.“

“This place is a little run down that's the only critique. Someone should paint and do the floors to give a better impression to the community. The bread is great, they have the polvorones with three flavors chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. This is my favorite. Then the steak tacos and the cilantro and red salsa are just like they should be. They serve it with onion cilantro and a lime like they should. Solid place, just it would be good if they invested on the looks cause it looks dirty but just from how old the floor and fixtures are. Once they remodel for like 2k they'll get all types of clientele. It was quite an effort too go there or bring ppl there to try mexican food cause of the looks of the place.Parking: Watch out with the restrictions for zoning they'll toe you.“
