But after I started my order on the tablet, I saw a brisket sandwich piled high with coleslaw. I ordered with extra sauce but didn’t need it because the flavor is absolute perfection. “We come to Carmens regularly...and there is a reason for that...its fabulous! We love the gelati (ice with custard for those non Jersey types). The line moves fairly quickly and it's not overly expensive for a summer time treat. We typically get smalls and for the 4 of us, its less than $25. There are several locations. The Rockville location can be fairly busy, but the Olney location is generally much quieter, so if you are between the stores, this one may be a better option. Enjoy!“

I am a big fan of gelato and when I tell you this is TOP SHELF w/ a side of phenomenal customer service I mean it. The staff was super nice, they allowed me to taste different flavors before I made my decision. They also have the cutest little “I melt for you” sign to take IG worthy pictures. My family and I stopped in here a couple of weeks ago and we are all completely hooked! This ice cream is absolutely nostalgic, texture of which resembles the hand churn ice cream from your childhood. The flavors and toppings are simply amazing. I love that the cream is of just the right sweetness. There is subtlety and delicacy in the flavor that would otherwise be very difficult to balance. Staff is so friendly. This is our new favorite dessert place! Can’t wait to go back again soon!“

“Haagen-Dazs is probably one of the most expensive ice cream places that I have been to, almost $8-$9 after tax. However, what makes them stand out from other ice cream stores is that they don’t use artificial ingredients, and their ice cream is a bit bold and dense compared to other ice cream brands. I really like their Belgian chocolate, because of the creaminess, richness of the chocolate.

I would say the service is great even though there is usually a big crowd waiting for their ice cream, especially when it gets closer to closing time. However, regarding the atmosphere, it feels a little cramped to be eating ice cream, especially with such limited seating. The staff aren’t the friendliest and gave a bit of an attitude when I asked about nuts, with no clear answer, but it panned out because the ice cream actually didn’t have nuts.

This place has changed drastically from last time I remembered it, and the new owner always caters to the customers needs, whether it is checking if everything is okay, to checking ingredients ensuring that there are no allergy risks. The Brown Butter Old Fashioned is the best I’ve ever had. The staff went above and beyond to help us celebrate our anniversary.
