I tried Uber Wats and Door Dash w same result: outside our delivery area. At 2.5 miles I have to wonder if they deliver at all. I'd order from them all the time!“

“A really good coincidence to come to Minneapolis for work and have the chance to try a place that was high on my bucket list of North America places to dine at. We will get to the food, that on its own deserves a visit, but takes a place to history and the philosophy of this restaurant, created as a full-service Indigenous restaurants that cooks only with decolonized ingredients - an amazing concept, a delicious experience, but above all a reminder these are occupied lands, with a year of abuse and destruction. As such, incredibly humbling to dine here, and an essential history lesson. The setting is beautiful, overlooking the Mississippi, and the food worth all the hype, and also a lesson on how creative and tasty you can be without wheat flour, cane sugar, or dairy, as examples of staples we constantly use and feel we couldn't live without. Started with the corn chowder, delicious with hints of honey. Then had the elk taco, the highlight of the meal, followed by the very good tartare as well. Finished with the squash custard, prepared with bison fat caramel, and also excellent. Multiple beverage pairings but I highly recommend the different teas.“

“I have a ton of food intolerances (nothing anaphylactic) and I rarely eat at restaurants because of it. I was so impressed with their willingness to help me find a meal I could eat! The manager himself stopped by to make sure they had the list of allergies correct before they placed the order. It was one of the best salads I've ever had! I didn't even think to take a picture, but I'll just say it was beautiful. :)Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating. I'm grain free, dairy free, nightshade free, legume free, and cant have most oils except for olive oil.“

“My wife and I went there for our anniversary. It was our first time trying Baldamar. We got seated in Nate aka "Nate-Or" section! Man what a guy! Our experience was amazing! His energetic lifestyle brought so much to our dining experience. All the staff was truly remarkable. We had the prime ribeye, filet, bread of life, lobster mac and cheese, thr mushrooms and asparagus/crab were do die for! Definitely one of the best steaks I've had in MN!“

“Hands down one of my favorite new restaurants of 2024 so far. Service was amazing (they clear your plates and utensils between every course), and every dish my group ordered was amazing. I was a huge fan of the pork chop, smoked eel, and I still dream of the octopus bolognese. It is a bit of a pricier spot, but totally worth it (I'm already thinking about when I'd come back for the bolognese). It's a little small inside since it took over the old Revival on Nicollet, but I love the moody vibes.“

“What a cute spot! They have amazing bloody Mary's! This place is great if you want to stop in for a quick drink and a small treat or stay for a full meal! I went here a few years ago and found myself there this past weekend again. It was as good as I remembered and the staff were so kind! Everyone at brunch raved about their meal, truly exceptional! Their eggs were all cooked to perfection! Highly recommend if you are in the area. If you are ever in the area highly recommend checking this place out!“

“It was our first visit to this restaurant and every part of the experience was great. First off they (and OpenTable) handled multiple modifications to our reservation from 6 to 11 and finally to 12. When we arrived we were seated right on time and had a nice big table in the back of the room so were not surrounded by other diners. The service by Saul and the rest was perfect and the food was outstanding. They handled our boisterous birthday party very well and even gave us a portrait picture to help remember a great evening and experience.“

“This establishment is considered a hidden gem to me, as it has garnered some attention and I am SOO happy that I decided to give it a try. The culinary experience was truly exquisite, with exceptional service and phenomenal dishes!!!! ?? “Heather's in Minneapolis is a favorite. It's that neighborhood joint everyone wants with great burgers, sandwiches, and salads, a great kids menu and twisty soft serve or cookies to keep the wee beings happy. But also that cozy date night spot with amazing daily specials and lovely grown up desserts on the patio.In practice, we usually order delivery (via Toast) and there's always a little tension between a dinner order (because THOSE SPECIALS!) or weekend brunch. We were able to do both today because they offered their daily special as part of their holiday brunch menu: lemon blueberry pancakes AND the ham special with asparagus and cheesy potatoes were both just amazing. ?Ordered pastries for week day breakfasts while I was at it but the delivery person missed the second bag or something. They made it right immediately - barely hung up the phone before the doorbell rang and a smiling, kind Heather's staffer was on my porch with a bag full of goodies. They just do EVERYTHING right.“

“This is just a fantastic place! It's been one of my top places in Minneapolis for at least a decade and never fails to disappoint. It strikes a nice balance of being classic and fresh. With the bonus of having stellar food and service. Somehow I still think it's underrated with all the restaurant opening up. But if you want a top-tier place that never fails to disappoint, hit up the eatery!PS The butterscotch budino continues to be my favorite dessert.“

“This might be my new favorite vegan restaurant in the Twin Cities. The food was excellent and the servers were friendly and efficient.I got the fried chicken sandwich with cheese fries and both exceeded my expectations. I was a little worried about the cheese having that “cashew vegan cheese” taste (lol, IYKYK) but this was not the case at all. Wouldn’t have even guessed it was vegan cheese if I didn’t know. Definitely recommend checking out even if you’re not vegan/veg!“

“Extremely friendly atmosphere and staff. Our server, Jackson, has the best personality. Being our first visit, he explained the ingredients and recommended to try different sauces which were great. “I was in Minneapolis for a weekend and chose Hen House because it was near our hotel. This was one of the best breakfasts I think I have genuinely ever eaten. We ordered an apple cinnamon roll that was made in house that melted in your mouth. I ordered a breakfast sandwich on a croissant roll (also made in house) that was to die for. It is clear the restaurant has a focus on fresh, quality food. Now that I am not in Minneapolis I literally dream about this place. 10/10 Hen House“

“Came here for bingo and the bartender, bingo seller, and bingo caller were all so kind! $1 per game $2 cover all. Cash! It was packed and very much for reason. It was also sweet to see the owner around and she was rockin’ it behind the bar. I had so much fun :) highly recommend the dill sauce/pickle burger. SO GOOD!!! Great prices too.“

“Absolutely phenomenal food and experience. Our server Louis was beyond amazing as he took the time to explain the dishes, cocktails, and so much more. Hat's off!Speaking of dishes, the bison tartare was increibly good, but we were blown away by the flavor of the duck ragu in the Torchietti. We had it made gluten-free to accommodate my wife's dietary needs, and the pasta was still delicious! We didn't stop there, adding an order of the pork chop for me and Alaskan halibut for my wife. The flavor profile on the pork chop dish was insanely big, bold, and wonderful. It was such a contrast to the halibut, which was also wonderful but much more delicate. Both were great. We were stuffed. There was no room for dessert, but since we had let it be known we were out celebrating a special event, we were not to leave without a wonderful little celebration treat. It was much appreciated!Our seating was at the Chef's Counter, and it couldn't have been more perfect. It gave us witness to all the incredible work going on in the kitchen as well as all the dishes that were getting prepped. TheDietary restrictions: My wife is gluten-free, and not only do they accommodate this with some of their dishes they go above and beyond to communicate between the waiter and kitchen about the dietary needs. This shows up starting with bread basket modifications, moves into extra tasting bites supplied to us from the head chef, and follows through to all our entrees and special desserts. Phenomenal staff coordination and cooperation.“

“It would not be an understatement to say we had the best experience we've enjoyed out in years. And I work in the industry and we dine out A LOT. Joey was hands down one of the best servers we've had in years. The assist staff were kind and efficient and so attentive. We chose Murray's because it was one of the last steak houses in town we haven't been to. Now, I'm not sure we could find a reason to go somewhere else. The wine was incredible, the peppercorn steak wasn't anything we'd normally order but wow are we so glad we tried it. Truly remarkable. We took the raspberry pie slice home and had pie—really good pie—for breakfast. Perfect birthday choice, that will certainly become just a good random Tuesday choice in the future. Thanks to the whole team for a remarkable night.“

“Great little diner tucked away, easy to drive by and miss. Ended up getting the colossal breakfast with trout would/will definitely go back if I am ever back in this city. Employees are very nice and helpful, bathrooms were tidy and clean. The menu is big enough for what I would consider even a "picky eater". “It's one of my go-to spots whenever I'm in Minneapolis. The atmosphere and service are standard brewpub. Good, but nothing out of the ordinary.Food is solid, mostly standard bar food, but it's well done with the cheese curds being noteworthy.The beer is definitely the highlight, there is a wide variety of well executed styles with the big barrel aged beers being some of the best in the state.I've been several times, and I'm sure I will be back next time I'm in Minneapolis.“

“Absolutely loved the Camden Social. The owner was very professional and welcoming. Went there for Saturday brunch and they had a jazz band playing live music. Ordered the French toast, eggs, and sausage. The sausage was so well seasoned and full of flavor. And the French toast omg so good. Probably one of the best French toast I've had. “Came here on a whim while we were walking around downtown Minneapolis. The service here is wonderful and shoutout to our waitress for being so awesome! It's a traditional style pub and walking in, we felt the chill and cool vibe and atmosphere. Plenty of seating around as well. We ordered the following: Soy garlic edamame: 8/10 - it was really good and salty from the soy! The edamame beans were steamed perfectly and provided that crisp pop when you bit into one. We would taste the garlic as well and it was very pleasant on the tongue. Mac and cheese: 8/10: I thought it would be the traditional noodles but it was penne style instead. It was rich, cheesy, creamy, and the pasta cooked al dente. It came with a toasted, buttered baguette slice. It was enough to feed two people and my coworker and I shared it. It was insanely good but I prefer the regular style mac and cheese noodles. To me, this was like a step above your average mac and cheese. Mexican corn dip - 9/10: do yourself a favor and get this as your appetizer! It tasted exactly like a warm elote! The flavors were outstanding and the added lime was the chef's kiss. it comes with fresh tortilla corn chips and when you first get a taste of the dip, you taste the richness of the Cotija cheese, and then follows the sweet corn and tangy lime juice and tajin. Then you end up with the slight spicy kick at the end. We all came to the consensus that this was our favorite item of the day! We finished every corn kernel. My other coworkers had a steak salad with blue cheese dressing and a slow roasted pull pork with tater tots. They both enjoyed their food as well. Prices were good for the portion size as well and our drinks were refilled and we were checked on regularly. Come try this place out! You won't be disappointment!“

“This is a Minneapolis icon and we had never been there before so we decided to try it. The service was amazing but the steaks were ok, definitely not the best steak I've ever had as they claimed. Personally I think Mancinis in St Paul is better. We had the ribeye and filet plus 2 sides and 1 drink each. $324 Definitely a one time place for that $ We did get birthday cake that was amazing however. If you have a lot of money and don't know where to spend it come here.“

“This is the finest dining in Minneapolis, hands down. I went in February 2024 and everything was executed with meticulous care. Every single dish was perfectly balanced. There was nothing superfluous, nothing too heavy, nothing too acidic. The wine pairings were well thought out. Also, none of the staff forgot I was a pescatarian at any point. It was also the perfect amount of food. For the quality of the food the prices were extremely reasonable. I have been to most of the fine dining establishments in the Metro and don't think the others, like Travail or Spoon and Stable, which are amazing in their own right, can really compare to Tenant. This is where you bring a true foodie if you want to impress them.“

“Kruse Market is wonderful! We enjoyed the Rainbow Bowl, What’s Wrong with Basic toast, Masala Chai Tea, and Blueberry Hills coffee. All were fantastic! A friend ordered the G.O.A.T. toast (on gluten-free bread) and let me take a nibble - divine! The retail side had a ton of great merch (those basil olives!!! *chef’s kiss!*) that we also stocked up on. And my family was pleasantly surprised to be the recipients of fresh takeout pastries and some Milkjam ice cream! We had such a fantastic time! There are ample outlets for the remote worker, and enough choices to satisfy all kinds of palates and dietary needs. I can’t wait to go back for dinner!“

“Truly a dining experience like no other. The food is delicious - I eat the steak every single time I go because it is my favorite food in the world. I'm pretty sure everything on their menu is made from scratch and every flavor is perfect. They take such care and pay such huge attention to the details. The wine pairings are out of this world, and it's such a luxury to turn off my brain and just know that every sip will be perfect. And the service is the warmest, most competent and most genuine service I have ever experienced. “Terrific find in St Paul in the Art Deco St Paul Air Terminal Holman's Table. Lot's of photos of early aviation, a private plane landed and taxi'd up for a lunch meeting. Meals were excellent, the room is a delight over looking Holman Field.“

“We recently had dinner for 9 on a Friday night to celebrate my Mom's 80th birthday and our godfather's 90th. We brought along a menu that we had from the 1960's to show staff . . . prices have changed, but not much else except the carpet, which is as it should be . . . quality is quality! As my Mom noted, we had a DINING experience; we were not just quickly and mindlessly served. Because of that, us younger-fold will be back to JAX to enjoy that experience. But for one night, the JAX staff and owners helped our parents and godfather celebrate old times and again enjoy a "night out on the town" they will not soon forget! “Ok, I'm visiting Minneapolis to see my kids and grandkids, and my two sons and I decided to come to a new dinner and drinks spot. We were quite impressed by the food! OMG! I had the goat cheese toast and it was superb. I know what you're thinking...goat cheese toast??? Yes! It has the creamiest goat cheese with candied walnuts, thyme, figs, honey, pesto, and a balsamic reduction on a toasted ciabatta. Wow! All those flavors in my mouth made me want to sing!! Hahaha We also got the lemon Caesar salad, and the BBQ Brisket Melt. So good! BBQ flavor was rich and delicious, with a juicy and tender brisket. We also ordered ALL the desserts. LOL The pistachio cheese was, hands down, the best cheesecake I have ever had. What a surprisingly delectable taste combination. The pistachio with the creamy cheesecake, think graham cracker crust and the whipped cream and ice cream was so delicious, I made a scene. Haha! The pineapple Bundt cake was soft, moist , pineapply and so damn good. The chocolate torte was good, delicious but nothing super surprising. The strawberry shortcake was the dessert I was most excited about, but it was disappointing. We did not like it. The shortcake had a really strong bitter flavor. Weird and not pleasant at all. We sent it back, it was that disappointing. But...the rest of the food and beverages were absolutely a do-over! We will be back!!!!“

I complained via FB and the owner called me personally and genuinely listened to my concerns. Where does that happen??? Now THAT is customer service. “We went for dinner with friends and loved the view, atmosphere, and had great service. The drinks for most of us were also excellent. However we all felt that the food and presentation was a three star. So take that into account if you are reading this.I know they are going for the diner/dinette vibe but the shrimp cakes in a cardboard box isn't ideal. The French fries also were good but look like something you would get next door at CHS Field.I had the duck pasta with ricotta cheese and it was a major letdown for me. I should have ordered the burrito. However the menu isn't that large so your options are limited. The pork belly was tasty but had way too much spicy sauce all over it.Will I go back? Honestly it is unlikely. I hope they can improve the food and expand the menu because the location is beautiful and historic. And our server was prompt and took great care of us.“

“I arrived at 2pm on a Tuesday. No line, plenty of seats at the bar. The people here know what they are doing! The service and the food was as on point as any time of day. I had the kitchen special: two eggs, hash browns, sausage, coffee, and I had a pancake. The coffee was surprisingly really good. The pancake was incredible—fluffy, fresh, large enough to fill me up alone. The picture of the pancake makes it look smaller than it is. The sausage, eggs and hash browns were cooked to perfection. They have an assortment of hot sauces. Highly recommend.“

“Awesome place! Cool, upscale vibes yet we still felt comfortable in jeans and casual clothes. The menu had a nice variety of items - our server recommended a few things that we enjoyed (except one).My daughter and I shared the prosciutto and burrata pizza - sooooo delicious! It was a little heavy on the arugula for our taste, but once we removed some of that it was a delicious pie! My daughter said it may have been one of her favorites ever! We also shared a Caesar salad - standard. My husband really enjoyed the skillet lasagna, but the portion was actually on the small side. Our only slight disappointment was the Philly sandwich. The menu didn’t have a description, so her only ask was no onions. When it arrived it was like loose meat with a bland orange cheese on top, in a standard hoagie roll. Not a ton of flavor. She had the garlic mashed as a side and it also left her feeling meh - not a ton of flavor and the texture almost felt like instant potatoes? Weird.Our server was really great and fun,We would definitely return if we’re in the area again - maybe to try a few other pizzas!“

“My Dad and I had the pleasure of eating at Highland Grill this evening and will most definitely recommend it to others, as well as return next time we're nearby! Absolutely stellar service from the time we walked in the door and were promptly greeted by the hostess until the time we left. Holly was our server - very knowledgeable & friendly. I mentioned it was our first time & asked for recommendations. I asked for a special drink (not on the menu); and she accommodated my request. We decided to get two items and share them as they both sounded delicious (the Seared Salmon & Meatloaf). Dad is a diabetic so she suggested an alternative vegetable instead of potatoes. Her service was spot on throughout our visit and the food was DELICIOUS!! We were both very pleased with the quality and the quantity. I've been a bartender/server for over 25 years... I can honestly say there isn't one thing that could have gone better with our experience!! 10 out of 10.“
