The food was outstanding from start to finish ( presentation, flavor profile, texture, all natural and full of character). “My husband and I had a splendid lunch date at the Himalayan Restaurant. The seating outdoors is so beautiful and is decorated with many flowers. The atmosphere inside for lunch was quite peaceful, which is my ideal type of restaurant.
We ordered dumplings as an appetizer. My husband enjoyed the extra spicy sauce. I liked the sauce with tomatoes and spices.
The main courses are made to the spice level you prefer. The chicken tikka masala and the mixed curry were absolutely delicious. The naan was seasoned well with garlic and herbs. The white and brown rice were fluffy and cooked perfectly as well.
We are hoping to eat here again soon. Highly recommend!

“We held our company Christmas Party at their beautiful restaurant and had such a great time! The staff were so attentive and wonderful to interact with throughout the whole evening! We ordered an array of food and our employees couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic the prime rib and KFC (Korean fried cauliflower) were! The talk around the shop about this event and the delicious food went on for days! We all had such a great experience from start to finish. They made it so easy to plan, set up, host and tear down. We would highly recommend anyone looking to host a party to come here! Now if you are just looking for a bite to eat for a date night or family night out, they also have you covered. No matter what plans you have this is the spot to be! A huge thanks to Lake and Irving for all they did for us and a massive thank you to Chris the chef! “Shout out to Christos Greek Restaurant and love to Gus, a truly amazing person who has kept this wonderful landmark alive and well for so many years! We have never had more delicious food anywhere! My choice was the lamb shank which was cooked to perfection, so tender it fell off the bone and didn't need a knife. Dessert for me was the mousse au chocolat (always) and having tried it at every restaurant that offers it, Christos will never be outdone. It should be mentioned that the salads are always made with what our daughter calls "happy veggies," always fresh and beautiful! the soups are all wonderfully special and "home made" as well. No one comes even close to the love and care that goes into this dining piece of heaven. Enjoying your delectable meal at Christos feels as good as a warm hug from your mom. “I came for happy hour and ordered their October special, two chicken tamales for $12. Presented with authenticity and looking very delicious that is, until I touched the husks and felt a chill. The tamales were hot but the husks were cold. How do steamed tamales come with cold husks, I questioned? I accepted their apologies and expressed how tasty they were but thought to myself, why serve in cold husks? The tamales were very delicious and will definitely have them again. Staff was very accommodating and I highly recommended Lagos Tacos as a must stop for all occasions.“

“I finally made it to Matt’s bar to check out the “Original” Jucy Lucy. Hamburger was great, as expected. Fries were shoestring and were perfect and delicious. Service was great. I went on a Monday afternoon and we sat down right away and were eating in about 20 minutes.

This really is more of a restaurant now. Because of the food, there is a LOT of turnover and it’s mostly food tourists. Even on a Monday. IDK if the kitchen closes, but maybe it turns more into a bar after that. The signs posted everywhere basically say “Others are waiting to be seated”. While there wasn’t a line when we were there, I’m sure there is when it’s weekend busy.

Good prices. They could be charging much more based on demand.

Lastly, cash only. There is an ATM on site with a $2 charge if you forget.

“This was the best discovery ever! Looks dark from the outside, but is GREAT from the inside. The bulgogi beef and the short ribs were the best we ever tried! (The fish pancake was not very good though) and the service was better than at home hahaha“

“Myself and four friends were in Minneapolis for a few days on a visit from Ireland and had breakfast here a few times. Food was delicious. Great choice on the menu. Service was brilliant. Staff friendly and efficient.“

“My daughter turned me on to this place. I have been here twice. Once for breakfast and once for lunch. They don't stay open late they basically do breakfast and lunch.
It's very busy here and you may have to wait for seating especially for breakfast. But well worth it..
I've been there twice
And I forgot the name of the item I got. It was like hash browns with an egg on it with some bacon on it it was like an eggs benedict kind of thing but not really. It was good and it's even better later when it marinate in the fridge because you can't eat it all because it's so big.
The staff is all very friendly
And very laid-back, what I really liked about the staff was that there was a variety of ages from young adult to an older adult more mature
And also all the staff help each other. It's not one person working on one table, it is a group effort to serve everybody to make sure that everybody is
Happy and satisfied. It's a little spendy it could be a little more than what people are used to but it is so worth it. Thee meals are huge and they run from 10 to $20.
We were three adults and one child. Very accommodating they did have a child high chair
For my grandson. This place is seating is very close together but having the high chair didn't seem to hinder the walkway which was great.
I love this place and I look forward to going there again.“

“When we made a reservation, it said they only had room on the heated patio. We actually got to eat inside though. The patio looked nice. There were TVs, festive decorations, and lots of people. I can't speak to how warm it was, but it looked like it had a firplace too. If we'd had a dog, that would've been amazing. Our server spoke quickly and did everything quickly. The portions were very large. We were so stuffed. We had the Thanksgiving meal and it has potatoes with gravy, corn, Turkey, green bean casserole, roll and butter, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie for $29. A big full plate of food. The restaurant was packed, but not ridiculously loud. They showed football inside as well. I only gave the food 4 stars because it wasn't amazing, but everything was solid and impressive. You could order from the regular menu as well. MSP Mag had a list of places to eat on Thanksgiving and they were the most affordable and the most generous with what they provided. We also got an even better deal because we bought discount gift cards at Costco and were part of the rewards program. Highly recommend!!“
