The outer layer of the pineapple bun is super buttery and crispy and the the bun itself is soft and fluffy. The pork inside is tender and was sweeter than I expected but it pairs so well with the little saltiness on the pineapple bun crust.

“the congee was delicious and so flavorful! I thought I got a simple braised chicken bowl but even that had so many other small elements in there that further amplified the dish. saw some reviews complaining about the congee being unevenly heated, but I did not experience this.

also such a beautiful little place to dine in-and they have a few shelves dedicated to groceries.

my only suggestion is specify if your lattes have coffee or not, other than that everything was (basically) perfect

“Food is good tastes fresh. Ordered the sesame chicken with white rice. Fried rice isn’t an option. They need to substitute items one the menu to accommodate customers. Probably won’t be back here if I have to get a separate fried rice for $14.“

The staff very friendly and helpful. We had the fried pork belly , tangerine beef , shrimp dumplings, fried shrimp and ramen noodle. “The pork soup dumps was a SOLID NINE OUT OF TEN. Was not expecting to walk in here but they had a solid deal of $6.95 for the pork soup dumps specifically. You get 6 in one order. I know what you’re thinking, they look alittle sweaty but they’re good! Temp was perfect where it wasn’t burning your mouth. The skin of the dumpling was nice and thin. Soup was rich, can’t complain. Match this was a coke and it’s the perfect recipe. I got 2 orders. Only down side is that I wish they spaced them out alittle more. They got stuck together . Did loose like 3 dumps that fell apart. Just a rinky dinky place. Unsure if I’ll go back for anything more than the dumps but it was a vibe. They need to get new menus. I saw ALOT of orders fly out there. They must be doing something right“

“Stopped by for some takeout before heading back to Brooklyn and was presently surprised. The shop is no frills basic Chinese and Japanese takeout. The restaurant was clean, service was friendly and pretty quick. Food was descent for takeout Chinese food, though the sushi was just fine. The combination dish that I got reminded me of late night college life a night after drinking and grabbing some quick fast Chinese food.“
