“From the moment we walked in on a Friday night, we felt completely at home. The owners are some of the warmest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet. They take the time to chat with you and make you feel like family. The Korean fried chicken and fried rice were absolutely incredible, everything came out fresh, hot, and perfectly cooked, and with so much variety to explore: different flavors, Korean snacks, and bites. It made for such a fun night of trying new things. The restaurant is spotless, the music sets a great vibe, it’s totally kid-friendly, and BYOB is a huge bonus on top of the already unbeatable central location. But what truly makes this place special is the heart behind it. You can feel the love and care they pour into everything. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out! This place is a real gem!“

The owner is incredibly welcoming and organized, making you feel like a guest in their home. The atmosphere is chilled and laid-back with a low noise level, perfect for a great date night. Highly recommend!

“I've walked past this restaurant so many times and finally made a reservation and I'm glad I did. The service was absolutely wonderful everyone was friendly and when my food was ready who ever was available brought it over and explained the dish so I got to meet everyone and got my food fast. I was sat at the bar which was fun to be able to watch the drinks get made. I got the beet salad, scallops and the shrimp ikura. The beet salad was the best beet salad I ever had and definitely want to return for that, the scallops were so delicious and everything blended well and the shrimp ikura was fresh and a really great amount I left full. The yuzu matcha magic was absolutely magic best cocktail ever. Loved the restaurant and service.“

“Nudibranch was incredible. Food, cocktails, vibes and service were all genuinely 10/10. The crab tteokbokki was one of the best dishes we had all trip.
The whole team was so warm and welcoming, and you can really feel how much they care about the overall experience. A very special spot. Can’t wait to come back.“

“was able to snag a reservation easily on a wednesday night. It was exceptional contemporary take on Korean cuisine. perfectly fried monkfish and an incredibly crisp, flavorful fried soft-shell crab. A standout experiential highlight is the DIY scallop gimbap. For the mains, the duck bulgogi was our favorite: umami, savory, and sweet notes, all tied together with a deeply satisfying charred, smoky finish. The bread pudding that is wonderfully delicious without being overly sweet, followed by a gingery shaved ice that provides a sharp, refreshing palate cleanser“

“5/24 Update, the restaurant invited me back for a meal to redeem their service. To be fair, the restaurant was busy for yellowtail season so understandable.
The food was amazing, we got the scallops rice, salon pasta, Wagyu ribs and the clam soup. I prob would do without the scallop rice for future but everything else hit the spot. Esp my favorite, the clam soup.
Thank you Won and the Capitan of the restaurant for taking care of us! I will definitely be back soon again.
Previous update: Came as a party of one, was seated immediately. Sat and waited for 30mins, no one came to serve me or take my order.
Trendy spot, was excited to try the food, but terrible service.“

“The popcorn chicken was so good. I think it was my favorite dish of everything we ordered, and the potatoes were perfectly done. The pasta was good, but I didn’t go crazy about it. The shrimp toast was good, and the sauce was excellent. The mushroom bibimbap was tasty and had a kind of coconut flavor at the end.
The restaurant was very loud; I couldn’t hear what the people at my table were saying. The service was all over the place. They had a problem with the AC unit dripping, so they put a pan underneath to catch the water, but they dropped the pan all over the floor and into the kitchen. They didn’t seem to clean their hands afterward and continued serving customers.
The restaurant was very understaffed. The food is great, but the place needs to feel a little cleaner and more organized.“

“Delicious pea salad, steak and potatoes with chimichurri, and black sesame bread pudding. The staff was incredibly cognizant of timing since I was seeing a show. I would absolutely go back for the steak and potatoes alone! The scallop crudo could have used more balance on the acidity but that is my only note.“

“Amazing experience tonight enjoying the bar menu. The team created a pitch perfect vibe, it felt like I was at a dinner party with friends (who just happen to be wizards at food and wine tasting menus). The service was exceptional: friendly and familiar yet still very high standard when it came to the details just as any other restaurant of this level. The food had some really standout dishes and the drinks pairings were so boldly experimental and amazing. I won't soon forget my experience at Atomix.“

“Had dinner on a weekday here with a reservation and was seated almost immediately. They give you cold barley tea which was refreshing. We ordered the galbi Jim with the fried rice add on and hot white noodles, and the perilla leaf soy bean stew. The galbi jim was very tender an a big enough portion for three people. Adding the fried rice was a nice end to the meal and tasted great with the bits of beef. The stew was very interesting, never had that at other Korean spots and was comforting on a chilly day. The hot noodles were decent wish the noodles were a bit more al dente but the broth was excellent and very clean tasting. There were a bunch of banchans that came with the meal and my favorites were the soy egg, spinach, potato pancake, and kimchi. Overall, it was a good meal and everything tasted good and was fresh. Portions were just right and we were pretty stuffed for 3 people. Would also recommend the mocktails, they were light and refreshing. The menu is not that extensive but you can find a lot of interesting items that you don't typically find in other Korean spots.“

“Brilliant Korean spread at Cho Dang Gol in midtown Manhatten. Specializes in tofu dishes so we plumped for the spicy tofu hotpot but also ordered some tasty beef and zucchini pancakes and spicy gochujang chicken. This eatery features on the Michelin guide and is always packed, and rightly so! Maybe a little on the sweeter side for my taste but isn’t everything in the USA? 😜 Regardless, it was stupid tasty and we inhaled everything“

“We dined at Joo Ok celebrating our wedding anniversary. From the minute we walked into a freight elevator entrance, curiosity and suspense peeked.
It’s a twelve course menu, thoughtfully executed with love in each bite. The artistry in a few of dishes were meticulously detailed.
Our top three courses were Ganjang, Crustacean and Gui. The perilla oil with the razor clams and caviar was surprisingly light, sweet with a hint of saltiness from the caviar. The langoustine was perfectly cooked, buttery sweetness. The waygu beef was tender, rich and mouthful of flavors.
The service was outstanding, attentive and friendly. Kyle was passionate about his craft, transported us through a culinary experience with his detailed explanation of the different ingredients and chef’s thoughts that goes into each dishes. Kyle and his colleagues highly deserved a shout out!
We dines at other’s Michelin Korean restaurants, from one to three stars. Joo Ok deserves their two stars in our opinions.“

“Hojokban is one of my favorite Korean fusion spots and it never disappoints every time I visit. The food is always absolutely yummy, and some of my must-order dishes are the truffle potato pancake, beef tartare, and bossam. Highly recommend if you’re looking for amazing Korean fusion food!“

“Overall, a good meal with a few highlights and a few misses
The standout for me was the buckwheat ice cream. I expected a rough, grainy texture, but it was surprisingly smooth with a subtle buckwheat aroma. The sweetness was very restrained and only became noticeable after a few bites, which made it especially enjoyable. The mushroom rice was another favorite. The seasoning was spot on and brought out the natural flavor of the mushrooms. The combination of green onions and mushrooms also looked beautiful on the plate. The fried chicken was solid as well, tender and well cooked
The beef patty was fairly average and didn’t leave much of an impression. The vegetable tempura, unfortunately, was the weakest dish of the meal. The batter was uneven, and there seemed to be too much residual oil, making it feel quite heavy
The seating arrangement was the other downside. We were seated in a corner where 3 tables had been placed in a relatively small area, which felt a bit cramped. The experience would probably be much more enjoyable in one of the more open seating areas
Overall, some dishes were excellent, some were less memorable, but the buckwheat ice cream alone was worth trying.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of My Favorite Korean Restaurants! Seoul BAP is not just another Korean restaurant — the food is absolutely amazing! Every dish is full of rich, authentic Korean flavors with a modern twist. It’s truly one of the best Korean dining spots in the city. The cocktail menu is just as exciting — featuring creative drinks that perfectly match the vibe and flavor of the food. 🍹 Spicy Passionfruit Margarita – bold and vibrant with a Korean-inspired kick. 🥃 Bourbon Bee Hive – smooth, rich, and full of depth. 💜 Lavender Skies – crafted with premium gin infused with butterfly pea flower and lavender, finished with a touch of Amaro — simply elegant. And the newest favorite everyone’s asking for: 🌺 Midnight Hibiscus – a hibiscus-infused vodka cocktail with elderflower and gentle sweetness. It’s beautifully balanced and pairs perfectly with Seoul BAP’s contemporary Korean cuisine. Best enjoyed with Taylor Swift’s Opalite playing in the background! 🎶✨ Come check out Seoul BAP — where Seoul meets style, flavor, and good vibes all in one place.“

“The food was so good and service was very quick! Everything came out hot and our waters were also refilled. Walking in on a Saturday afternoon I was not prepared for a club like atmosphere. Music is very loud, and very dark inside, especially in the bathroom. I could barely talk to the person 1 foot in front of me. I’d probably recommend getting the food togo.“

“Busy for a weekday lunch, but there are seats. Ambience is café-ish and comfortable. Liked the bright space and high ceiling. Waitstaff was very attentive and kind. Ample banchan and barley tea. Prices were very reasonable for the area. Food tasted healthy and delicious.
Banchan - kimchi was really spicy but yummy. Seaweed, spinach and fried tofu tasted fresh and healthy. Also had a side of fish. Too many bones but the meat is well-cooked and tender.
Cold noodles - kimchi-style so a little sourish. But refreshing.
Mushroom rice - mushroom was well-seasoned. Great dish overall.“

“Mokyo is a very unique place. Every dish is a unique invention and all of it just tastes good. I haven’t had something I didn’t like and all dishes are significantly different from each other.
This is the sister restaurant to Thursday Kitchen and the concept is pretty similar. Innovative dishes that represent a fusion between Korean food to everything else in the world. The main difference between Mokyo and Thursday kitchen is that Mokyo is the upscale version and you need a reservation, it is not a walk-in place.
Notice that portions are pretty small and the prices are slightly expensive for the portion. It’s not going to be a cheap meal if you’re hungry.
My favorite was the scallops dish which was really hard to stop eating. If I had room for an extra dish I’d had a second scallop. The gnocchi special was also very good and might be the best value for money. Lobster roll was the least value for money.
Overall highly recommended.“

“Amazing elevated chicken. It's not just chicken, however. Oysters were superb. Salads (the scallion salad is an absolute delight) and all the sides are just superior. Little touches that seem whimsical but are just spot on - try the 24 carat nugget with caviar. Excellent star-studded champagne list; why not? Staff were just exceptional. Special shout out to the sommelier who came by and spent time even though we didn't buy a killer bottle of bubbly. We will return.“

“Lowkey one of the best meals I’ve had recently. The whole experience felt super polished without being overly formal, which made it even better for a date night.
The shrimp tempura was insanely crispy on the outside while still juicy inside. Super light batter, not greasy at all, and the texture was honestly perfect.
The yellowtail sashimi tasted incredibly fresh and buttery. It literally melted in my mouth, and the sauce added just enough brightness and acidity without overpowering the fish.
The tuna & salmon hand roll was probably my favorite. The seaweed was still crispy when it came out, and the tuna had that rich, clean flavor that makes you immediately want another one. Really balanced and well executed.
Also have to mention the staff because everyone was genuinely warm and attentive the entire time. You can tell they care about the experience, not just the food.
Definitely one of those spots that feels stylish and elevated while still comfortable enough to relax and enjoy the night.“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Came to KPOT BBQ for the food and left raving about the entire experience. The food was great, fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you hope for when you walk into a place like this. But somehow the service was even better. Shoutout to Stella, our server, who absolutely made the night. Attentive, friendly, funny, and on top of everything without ever hovering. She handled our table like a pro and cooked some of our food for us too! , even while I was clearly having the time of my life and probably making a bit of a spectacle of myself. Stella, if you’re reading this, thank you for making an already great meal unforgettable. And if by some chance you felt the same good vibes, feel free to reach out. Either way, KPOT BBQ has a customer for life.“

“A modern Korean inspired interior that feels very clean and well designed. The lighting isn’t too dim at night, which makes the space feel warm and atmospheric. It’s a great spot for dates or casual group dinners, and it’s also very photogenic. The food is on the refined Korean side generally well executed and safe, but not particularly bold or memorable. The flavors are nice but don’t stand out much, and the overall layering of taste feels a bit light.Service is overall solid and consistent. The dessert is a highlight, especially the black sesame flavor, which is rich and very well done.“
