“Ordered via doordash today for lunch. Build your own sandwich: rye not toasted, turkey, swiss, pastrami, Chipotle mayo and side of sweet fries. The order was exactly as I requested and they were balanced with the coldcuts. The sandwich was also warmed which I was pleasantly surprised with. The sweet fries were packaged in a separate container and it was also a generous amount. Please note that they were on the softer side which I prefer so you might want to request crunchier and crispy if you like them that way. Overall very pleased and will definitely order from again. I would like to suggest that the bag should be double stapled to minimize possible tampering.“

The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

They quickly welcomed us in with open arms and fresh hot coffee. It was one of the best brunches I've ever had, but what made it even more special was Joey the owner overheard our story, knowing we had a rough morning, and gifting us one of his comfort food cookbooks! “Spicy Village was a wonderful place to have a Christmas meal! Actually, I'd like to rename it "Spicy Cozy Village" if a spicy environment can also be cozy! To start with, they were very gracious by accepting a reservation for 8 people at 6:00. Then they came outside and took our order even before we sat down and so the food was nearly ready by the time we had taken our coats off! The festivities kicked off with a plate of crispy peanuts, which ended up being the chosen appetizer, main course, and dessert for the little guy in our party. We then progressed to delicious dumplings, sesame chicken, spicy lamb huimei, and other delectable specialties! What was so amazing about the experience is that despite packing lots of people into a relatively small square foot area, it did not feel claustrophobic at all; rather it was comfortable and cozy, like sitting at a big table for a family meal at your house (even if it was take-out!!). Overall, Spicy Village was a terrific place for Christmas dinner - and I'm strongly considering coming back here for the 8 days of Hanukkah too!“
