“Wonderful experience! The shrimp was delicious, the bread was fresh and perfectly balanced with the oils the shrimps are cooked in. The fish was perfectly cooked and you can’t skip the devils food cake! Sat at the bar and bartender was welcoming and very helpful as we assessed our choices.“

“Beautiful meal. Usually I’m skeptical about Chinese fusion, but everything was executed perfectly at Lei. The celtuce had a delightful crunch, which was paired nicely with a rich, but light and slightly tangy sauce. The Cabbage with yuba and morels was also very warming and had a great depth of flavour without being too heavy. We also ordered the shao bing, which, while simple was delightfully crunchy and paired nicely with the slab of butter inside. The mains, however, were the real star of the show. Many come for the sweet and sour beef short rib, and I will say it’s a must order. It pairs wonderfully with the side of rice, and it is very tender and flavourful. The Hand-rolled cat’s ear noodle with lamb braised in cumin and tomato was also very special. The noodles come out perfectly al dente, and the broth is, again, rich and fragrant without being overbearing. Surprisingly, I also really liked the Eight treasure rice pudding with sticky toffee. It was a great twist on a traditional Chinese dessert, and the slightly salty caramel paired with the ice cream and sticky rice was a nice conclusion to the meal. The wines on offer were also excellent, especially the dessert wine. We tried a South African straw wine, which was very very special and unique. Overall one of my favourite meals in New York as of yet. Very innovative, very hard to book, but very worth it.“

“Amazing and interesting menu. Each dish was exciting and fun. We realized after our meal that we accidentally ordered and ate all vegetarian. Get the cheezits and the squash rings! The schnitzel was delicious as was the carrot hummus. Whatever that chocolate caramel dessert with marshmallow on top is… GET IT! Maybe get two.“

“I'm a longtime neighbor who has been coming to the space since the late 2000s. I even liked whatever was going during late COVID years. I was emotionally boycotting the new menu because I loved Prime Meats. While I'll forever miss the pretzel and mustard, charcuterie platter, french fries and wursts and pickles, the new place has the same combination of new and reliable. The menu is outstanding and so is the service, cocktails and ambience. Thank you for the consistent excellence!“

“Had a wonderful time here for my birthday yesterday! Service and food were excellent, especially this tuna tar-tare Roxy-style with whipped avocado and caviar. The management also went out of their way to make my night, which I really appreciate. The Roxy continues to be one of my favorite restaurants in town!“

“There were no alligators in sight, unfortunately, but the service was excellent. Emma and Lena (I think) were very welcoming. I was the first drip coffee order of the day (this was around 4pm), but they were still accommodating. Convenient location, a crisp air temperature, a carefully curated bookshop. Bread upon request. Also milk and/or cream upon request. And bathroom upon request. Good service, whether requested or not. Would recommend“

“This wine bar/lounge was a very nice surprise. We stumbled into it and were very pleasantly surprised about the quality of service, drinks, and food. The cocktails were artfully prepared in a beautiful thin glasses (I had La Rosa, with floral gin and clarified grapefruit and rose water with a hint of pink peppercorn, and my company had a classic martini), served ice cold. We tried two tapas-sized dishes: Quesadilla De Huitlacoche came with warm, hand-made corn tortilla with scrumptious corn mushrooms (huitlacoche) with delicately tangy Oaxacan queso. Flautas de Res -- rolled up crispy thin corn tortilla with fork-tender, juicy stewed beef rib eye -- were exceptional. It was bursting with flavor, absolutely one of the best Mexican food I have eaten. The staff were super attentive, professional and cordial and made us feel welcome an well cared for. This is a beautiful place and I would definitely come back!!!“

“Lovely little place to have some wine and little bites or plates.
In Spain we are used to small places where you stay at the bar without sitting having dinner, a glass of wine or whatever; it was really nice having this experience in New York.
Food is good, wine as well, a bit expensive (portions are small… cheese board is a bit poor), but wait… it’s NYC it’s kind of normal.
The guys at the bar kind and smiley.
We enjoyed a lot our night and we were lucky to find a spot!“

“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

“Overall rating: 4.8
My friend took me to this place for after-work drinks and it’s such a cute spot for the area. While the wine was tasty & the staff was so nice, no happy hour? Not even a small one? Cmon.
Definitely want to come back for a date if I’m in the area.“

“We dined at Farra during a later seating, and it immediately felt more like an intimate theater than a restaurant. The open kitchen is the stage, the chef at center, while the staff moves with precise, almost balletic rhythm. Watching the room flow was captivating in itself.
The food was exceptional—each dish visually composed with clear intention. We started with a raw tuna preparation that delivered a refined balance of spice and texture. The standout of the evening was the ravioli, coiled elegantly in a comforting miso broth. The mild shrimp filling allowed the deep umami of the broth to shine, creating a dish that was both thoughtful and memorable.
The duck showcased subtle asian influences, with a peanut layer and grapefruit providing a striking contrast of richness and brightness.
Dessert was also visually pleasing and had a wonderful taste as well.
Service elevated the experience even further. Sage and Heather were warm, approachable, and genuinely engaging, with an impressive grasp of the wine list and intuitive pairing recommendations.
Some come to New York for Broadway—we come for food. Farra delivers a performance worth applauding: beautifully synchronized, expressive, and deeply satisfying from start to finish.“

“This place is so phenomenal. The bites are exquisite - each one bright and balanced. The vibe is immaculate - charming and cozy and intimate. But what really sets Elvis apart is the service. Sam, the bartender, is one of the best in the business: kind, attentive, and easygoing. Every human I’ve dealt with there has been so caring and lovely. You can tell they enjoy coming to this place to work and I can understand why. I love hanging out here. Great to hang with friends. Phenomenal for a date night. You could really bring anyone here and have an exquisite time. Really fair prices too. 10/10“

“Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of hosting my engagement party at Parcelle Chinatown, and it was truly an incredible experience. The downstairs private space is intimate and perfectly suited for a cocktail-style event of up to 60 guests.
From the very beginning, Art was extremely responsive and attentive and honestly, he’s the reason I chose this venue. Finding a great space in NYC is one thing, but finding someone who manages events with this level of care and professionalism is rare. He went above and beyond to make sure every detail was covered and that the evening unfolded exactly as I envisioned.
The entire team was exceptional. The bartenders were quick and consistent, and the service overall was seamless. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the hospitality and the food.
I’m so grateful to Art and the whole team for such a smooth, beautiful, and unforgettable night. Everything was executed flawlessly!“

“Coming to sauced brings a wholeness to that you’ve been searching for your whole life. It will shape you as a person, as a wine drinker, as a new yorker. The unpretentious front gives away when you enter and the sweet staff invites you to find your place. “I stopped in yesterday with my girlfriends as a trio exactly at 5pm and we were able to get a booth. I loved the cute decor. 90s music and relaxed atmosphere. The shining star of the evening was the Happiest Meal deal…. Do not skip the burger! It is so delicious. We tasted a variety of aeperol spritz’s which were all tasty but my favorite was the classic. Our server Ike was super attentive and friendly, gave us helpful recommendations and playful banter, such a sweetheart. We will definitely be back for Happy Hour (and the burgers). Thanks for a great girls date.-Veronica“

“A hidden gem that deserves a great review. I️ worked in Newark for years, and a place like this is exactly what the city was missing. The bottle selection is interesting - not the usual suspects. And the music sets exactly the right mood.
Newark needs more small businesses like this. It's the type of place that'll bring the energy back to this city. Will definitely be back.“
