“The perfect date spot. I cannot recommend enough. Came here for a going away party and the cocktails and wine list were so good I decided to come back in a date. The food surpassed my expectations and the wines were amazing. Although i forgot to take pictures, we had the escargot, shrimp, ahi tuna, and the duck tartare. So so good. Perfectly place to have a good conversation and good food. Service was just what I needed. Nothing over the top but kind, fast, and efficient.“

“This is my favorite restaurant in the West Village. The hosting / wait staff are insanely nice, accommodating and knowledgeable of the menu and wine list. The chef is an actual artist who has a unique knowledge of exotic flavors that mesh perfectly into well known dishes. The kitchen is open air and you can see the dedication that goes into prepping and cooking your meal. The menu is ever changing based on what ingredients are the freshest at the time and it's just really one of those great experiences where you feel like you ate a 10/10 home cooked meal. I am writing this review now because it came to my mind given I have a reservation there tomorrow and am surprised I haven't left a review given my historical experiences (I have probably been at least 10, if not more times). “I came here as part of a group of four and we ordered one of everything off the menu to share. It feels like upscale Chinese tapas, perfect for sharing with friends, maybe difficult to come as a solo diner for a meal. Everything was incredible, a wonderful spin on Chinese cuisine while still being faithful to classic ingredients. My only mild complaint is that the music is on the loud side, and the chopsticks are form over function. It’s hard to pick anything up with them.“

“this place was gorgeous! To be honest I’m not a fan of the furniture because not only is the price outrageous but the furniture is not my color scheme. But I always wanted to eat at this restaurant. It’s very pretty upstairs with the chandeliers and the greenery. The bathroom is very clean and gorgeous. I sat inside because it was really hot yesterday. The booth is very comfortable. I just had the smashed avocado toast. They use a whole avocado for this. It’s almost like it’s a little too much avocado? But I ate most of it. I think half avocado would suffice. It’s also got a little bit of an expensive price tag but it was the only thing I really wanted on the menu. Service was very friendly as well.“

“Such a cute spot! We sat at the bar and ordered the tomato pie and fennel sausage pizza, and both were so good. I also got the stone fruit spritz, which was delicious and the perfect drink to go with everything.

“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

“The Roxy provided an incredible evening from start to finish. Our waiter, Bruce, was exceptionally welcoming and brought a warm, inviting energy to our table. We started with the ahi tuna tartare, which was simply fantastic; the freshness and richness of the fish were unmatched, and every bite had the perfect firmness. Following Bruce's recommendation, we also tried the charred octopus, which lived up to its wonderful menu description. The overall quality of the products is clear in every dish, and the wine selection is elegant. “A true 5 star experience. I arrived early ahead of my 6 o clock reservation and I’m glad I did because thanks to our amazing server, we reserved one of the apparently only 12 available for each night, succulent, off-menu melty, umami in a bite burgers. Well worth the hype.

Along with the very laid back yet sophisticated British vibes and friendly service, we also ordered the oysters kilpatrick - another burst of flavor bite, the potato with crab and lardo, the crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside curried lamb scotch egg, rounded out by a perfectly cooked sirloin steak and chips which were fluffy and battered. Whatever special steak sauce they had took it over the top.

I forgot how I found this place, but I know it won’t be my last. Apparently they have a great lunch vibe as well.“

“Had a wonderful brunch today at Hudson Clearwater. The smoothie was outstanding. This is a quaint rustic spot and deserves all the love for their vegan friendly menu. I chose the blackened fish sandwich and it did not disappoint. The Cole slaw on the brioche bun, lightly covered with tarter sauce, made for a perfect sandwich. Their fries were delectable as well. “Stopped by for the first time, and I had a great experience! The coffee was excellent, and the fruit tart was exceptional!! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the interior has a clean, modern look that I really loved. There's also a little courtyard in the back that makes the space feel quiet, calm, and tucked away from the city.

There is a no-laptop policy, and it creates an atmosphere where people can just relax, enjoy good coffee and food, and have real conversations.

It is small and standing room only (aside from the outside seating in summer), so try to go at off-peak times or be happy to stand and have people squeeze by you. The cocktails were artfully prepared in a beautiful thin glasses (I had La Rosa, with floral gin and clarified grapefruit and rose water with a hint of pink peppercorn, and my company had a classic martini), served ice cold. We tried two tapas-sized dishes: Quesadilla De Huitlacoche came with warm, hand-made corn tortilla with scrumptious corn mushrooms (huitlacoche) with delicately tangy Oaxacan queso. Flautas de Res -- rolled up crispy thin corn tortilla with fork-tender, juicy stewed beef rib eye -- were exceptional. It was bursting with flavor, absolutely one of the best Mexican food I have eaten. The staff were super attentive, professional and cordial and made us feel welcome an well cared for. “Arrived early for a two-person reservation on a hot summer New York night, fresh off the excitement of the Knicks parade - we didn’t catch it but the energy was palpable.

Even though our table wasn’t ready (we were a full hour early after all), the hostess was kind enough to help us pick out a chenin blanc to enjoy inside before being seated outside.

While the burger was absolutely delicious, the highlight of the evening was our server, Hunter. He struck the perfect balance of being attentive and giving us space, allowing us to enjoy our conversation without interruption. Somehow, he always seemed to appear at exactly the right moment whenever we needed something.

“Can I please give it 6 stars? I recently went there with a group of five family members while visiting New Jersey and we had a truly extraordinary night! As an investor in restaurants I'm very critical when visiting any restaurant and not often impressed even with well known critically acclaimed restaurants. It's very rare when a place has truly incredible food with every appetizer and entree as well as first class VIP vibes for service. You could literally taste the passion and care put into every plate with beautifully prepared flavorful abundant meals. In fact, it was the first time in almost a decade I brought home leftovers as the meal was delicious and easily sufficient for two people. Our entire table raved about their meals and the attentive but not obtrusive service was always there to refill our wine and assist without any of us having to look up for service. The food alone would have made for a great night but what truly made it memorable besides the great waitstaff was the manager, Eli. When was the last time a manager, GM or owner greated you at your table to share a polite, interesting and passionate conversation about the food and why they love sharing this experience with their valued customers? He made our entire table feel like VIPs and made perfect recommendations for wine and dessert. It felt more like we were in someone's home as we were there for close to 3-1/2 hours talking, eating, drinking and laughing. The ambiance is warm and unpretentious and the memories of a great experience will certainly bring us back again.“

“Overall, I would give Farra a 4.5 out of 5. Across the board, the food, hospitality and atmosphere were great. The overall venue is a little small however it is intimate, they can probably fit about 20 people inside. You have a great view of the kitchen and a good wine selection. It is a little loud when busy and can be hard to hear the person you’re sitting across from but it is manageable.

We ordered essential 4-5 appetizers, and 2 entrees. The apps are really what you come for. Well made, fresh, and presentable, and very prompt from order to being served. The stand out was definitely the Shrimp Ravioli, the broth was phenomenal. The Scallop Rice was amazing too, very rich in umami, very crunchy rice. The Beef Tartare was phenomenal, the sundried tomato’s and sauce work so well, such a savory and rich combination.

The mains were delicious and well prepared too but nothing crazy. We had the Schnitzel and the Branzino. I understand the point is to drink wine here and have a few small apps so I am not critical of mains however for the price of $52 for a breaded piece of chicken I expected a little more “wow”. Maybe I’m wrong… who knows. If I went again I would just order more apps instead of a main.

The service was great, we were attended to every time, drinks filled when we ran low, and never had to call our waiter over. The ONE* caveat I would add is that I just wish our waiter was dressed a little more professionally to match the aesthetic of the restaurant. He was essentially dressed as a frat kid in a tshirt and adidas sneakers. Again, this did NOT impact service once bit, but it did make a $500 dinner night feel a little cheaper.
