“I work in Midtown Manhattan and everyone in the company has tasted the cuisine of So Good Cuisine LLC... we licked our fingers with that seafood ham and chofan... wow how delicious, just remembering it is a pleasure to the palate... Since then we have ordered our dishes holidays with them.. I highly recommend it if you want to eat well and look good with your guests.. they are super cordial and attentive to the details of the order… We went to the restaurant and it is nice and hygienic too.. It is decorated with love..“

“My wife and I generally eat for five people, we ordered 4 small plates and 2 mains, still looking into dessert. Each dish had its own layer of perfection with unique flavors and exquisite presentation. I’d say a restaurant on its way to becoming Michelin…..bravo! “Saturday was a beautiful day. Service was excellent. Our meal was delicious across the board (7 Queens). The beverages were good . The only negative was the bathroom situation. Although communication on that issue could have been better, I will return again.“

“The joy I’m feeling as I type this review is indescribable. FINALLY, I have found a PROPER Jamaican restaurant with PROPER JERK food and for a reasonable price. The chef is in the back GRILLINGGGGG that meat- oxtail, chicken, goat meat, beef ribs. Meat, that I as a Jamaican, never imagined could be jerked, they jerk and it’s delicious. The flavors and the tender meat- just wow. SB: If you dont like sauce, just be sure to ask for some on the side because they automatically put it on there.

This is literally a gem in for the state of NJ for sure. I’m telling ya’ll, I have been to MANYYYYY restaurants and the jerk is always baked. People are out here eating baked chicken, calling it jerk and NO THANKS. If you want real, authentic, Jamaican jerk, this is the place to go. I promise you won’t be disappointed. I wish I had pictures to attach but, it’s gone, finished, and eaten lol“

“Bought doubles and a curry chicken wrap roti and this was ones of the best tasting wrap rotis I've had in awhile. The curry itself and the inside condiments were flavorful and very tasty. The doubles as well was very good. Only tried these 2 items but I'm sure the rest of the menu items are just as delicious. Would definitely recommend and would be going back.“

“My husband and I went here after monster jam, saw that it was within waking distance of the prudential center and we decided to go check it out.This restaurant is beautifully decorated! There were many places to take photos, a lovely seating area with comfortable pillows, and there was a wall of fame of various Caribbean Islands. It smelled fresh and clean inside and you can see the staff takes great care of their restaurant. The food!!! Jessum peace!!! The food was excellent! I ordered the stew chicken with rice and peas and Mac n cheese. My husband ordered curry goat with white rice and veggies. We eat had a beef patty as a starter. The patties dem taste like bak ah yard! The Curry goat was like something we would find at a 9 night back in Jamaica and the stew chicken was very flavorful. I didn't want the meal to end. We ordered food to take home with us to eat during the snow storm. The meal brought my husband to tears giving him a nostalgic feeling of home. We will return again!“

“It’s become really hard to find consistently good jerk chicken these days. A lot of my former favorite spots have fallen off and with food like this, you can tell when the love and effort aren’t there anymore.
That said, this place absolutely nailed it. The jerk chicken was a home run perfectly seasoned, flavorful, and cooked just right. The rice and peas and the sides were just as impressive. If I lived closer, I’d honestly eat here every day. That’s how good it is.

The only small negatives were the packaging and the limited sauce, but truthfully, the chicken didn’t even need much extra. Overall, this spot is a definite hit.“

“Was walking by and saw A&J Caribbean Taste. I just had to go in and see what they had. It was like home! They had a wide range of food and I was so excited I asked for a sample of it all lol. DELICIOUS. Further, it was super generous of the server to accommodate my request. My favorite was the oxtail though all dishes were delicious. If you're missing GOOOOD Caribbean food and want a variety - and not have to wait for food preparation - this is a must visit. Compliments to the chef. This will now be one of my go-to spots whenever I come to my Newark Office.“

“Popped in for some food after hitting the pool - everything was so fresh. I got the fritura and was blessed with a massive portion of fried, fresh, incredible meats, cheese, and plantains. I couldn’t rate the food 5 stars as my steak was not the one I ordered and the meat was chewy. I didn’t rate the atmosphere 5 stars either as the place is quite small and not too much space to stand around while waiting for a table. If in the area, I do recommend stopping here for some authentic Cuban food.“

“I drove from Boston to New Jersey for the Memorial weekend, i intended to vigorously eat my country made cuisine and Lakay Restaurant met all expectations. The ingredients was purely implemented with love and the right dosage. The griot was well fried, the djondjon rice had the authentic taste. The manager accommodated my patience with a Haitian mac and cheese(Delicious). The only recommendation is that the menu is not displayed whether digitally or physically but if you know your Haitian Meal that is the place to be.“

“I went to Markette for dinner and drinks before an event at MSG. Markette brings an incredible option to this area. The atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant is something you’d see further downtown. I started off downstairs for a drink and the Mango Martini was unreal. They have a different drink menu from upstairs and I would definitely go back to try others. I can’t say enough good things about the food upstairs. Everything our table had from the crudo to rock shrimp linguini to the lamb was unreal. A side dish of the lamb but the pita bread was maybe the best I’ve ever had. 10/10 recommend and would go back.“

“First off, I want to say that I never planned on stopping in. I was in the area because I was touring and Dean greeted me with a smile and a wave from the window. When I came back around and let him know I was interested in the menu options, he started tell me about his discounts and promotions. Unfortunately most of those things were meet, and I'm vegetarian so I asked if he had any vegetarian options and that I was hoping for patty and plantain.

He told me he did have callaloo+ kale and an ackee patty. He made them himself, and even gave me a complimentary drink. I chose sorrel, one of my favorite drinks growing up.

He packed them neatly and gave me some extra bag so I could carry it, and when I finally got to the house I was able to take a bite of each patty. At least I planned it to just be a bite.

When I tell you the flavors, the creaminess, the reminder of home just slap me in the tongue! I was in heaven. The sorrel was surprisingly sweet and delicious and I had to force myself to stop drinking it so fast. If I hadn't been so hungry and the food wasn't so good. I would have some pictures to show y'all, when I say I tore that food UP. I did not get paid for this, he did not ask me to write a review, but the food was just so.dang.good.
