“Really enjoyed our dinner there, it was a client dinner with 11 people, we had a choice of soup or salad as well as main course, appys and sides were served family style so we got to try a lot of dishes. Everything was excellent especially the lobster pops, seafood tower as fresh as can be. My wifes filet and lobster tail perfect. I had a strip which is not my favorite cut, nor is a filet but it was delicious. Sides great, especially the truffle mac n cheese. Deserts were great as was service. Will definitely come back“

“Great food, all tasted fresh and didn't disappoint..we ordered the dinner for 2 that included 4 choices of cold starters and calamari that melts in your mouth and the salad was so good and the mix kebab and koftas over rice was good too..will definitely recommend and we shall be back! 😋“

“Great atmosphere. Great table spacing and relatively quiet. We had salads which were very fresh, parker house rolls were soft and buttery, lobster knots were a little bland, bass with butter and capers was very well seasoned and so fresh. Bread pudding was great. Definitely recommend.“

“We had a fabulous and special dinner here at The Shell. Service was attentive and the food was incredibly delicious. The branzino I HIGHLY recommend because it looked amazing and the fish was super tender with the crispy skin and creamy sauce. You can also sometimes get the $48 whole branzino fillet with a side. Its a special.
The salmon was very tender as well and the lobster ravioli was delicious and melted in your mouth. The appetisers were all perfect such as the calamari and oysters. The calmari sauce was excellent and went really well. The sorbet and cake were very flavourful too.
We were able to get the senior special for under 65. It was supposed to be 65 and older but when we called they said 50 and older. It was a mistake they said but they said it was fine for this time which was really nice. We got three senior specials and three $55 pri fix which was a great deal and is what also made this visit very special. Will hopefully be backbnnn“

“A lunch outing with my brother and sister-in-law turned into a nice dining experience. We chose Greek over Italian and ended up in the Aegean Estiatorio in Park Ridge.
The personal and professional experience was divine and the food was fresh and deliciously prepared. We share the spanakopita and enjoyed the delicate texture. Roasted beets and feta cheese salad was a winner. Our entrees for lunch was a delicious chicken souvlaki with a very fresh house salad. The generous portion moussaka was blended well and deliciously prepared. Do not pass up the the creamy custard Ekmek Kataifi dessert topped off with a cappuccino. Looking forward to return for a seafood dinner.

“The trout is the best in the area. The servers can be unprofessional and rude. When asked to tie back their hair, the request was refused. A nonsense response of not required was insulting. As an experienced service trainer, the hair in question should have been restraining. Health department requirements override a servers vain attitude.“

“My favorite restaurant in the UES! Everything is cooked well and very flavorful, plus they’re great about accommodating gluten-free. (Our favs are the crab rolls, spicy tuna crispy rice, miso calamari, little gem salad, and the salmon.) Also appreciate their commitment to sustainability… and solid happy hour value! The restaurant can get stuffy and hot in the summer, but they have a decent sized outdoor eating area and their takeout service is quick.“

“We went around 11 pm as a large group of 7 but we had a reservation. They seated us in the back in the booth. It was very intimate and dark. The music was good but it was hard to hear other people talking. The food was good we had late night menu.“

“I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt. The food is awful. Mozzarella sticks were frozen, Cajun fries, a handful of paprika drowned over the top Today beer that's normally $6 was $8 plus a $4 tip, tax and looking for another tip. Bill should have been $20 it's $30. Live with your wn failure. Don't put it on the customers. Pretty bartenders won't cover incompetence.“

“My brothers and I hosted our dad’s 60th birthday in one of the private rooms upstairs. Maria took care of us and service was incredible all night! We chose the 3 course sit down menu and family style appetizers which were all incredible. I highly recommend coming here for a private event and will be back soon to try the rest of the menu!“

“I was very disappointed in the quality of the food, seasoning, sauce. Just extremely bland. The food tasted like when you go to a fish market and you get steamed food and though that can be good that's not what you expect when you go to shaking crab. The butter and garlic sauce was very thin and just had butter and garlic And it was very oily, I don't even think it was real butter. We had to ask for seasoning. But it wasn't the same. at all. Also they kept omitting items out of our food When we dined in. And, We had a to go order and we paid for eggs and noodles and when we got home we found out it wasn't there. So I'm going to give shake and crab another go but it will have to be in Brooklyn. Because the one that was in Harlem has permanently closed and when I tell you, that's sauce? superb! If the owner or manager is reading this please go back to the original. I understand that you are probably mostly around white people and they like to complain about things being too spicy but you're going to lose business that way. The people that like your food will come. But if you change what you're known for. It's ultimately going to be your demise.“

“I love to go here every monday lunch. This is my go to place for bento box. I love the cozy atmosphere of this place and there music. Overall the vibes is relaxing. “The workers/owners are so nice and the food is INCREDIBLE for the price. Seafood boil in this day and age is so expensive and here I can get 1/b crab legs, a potato, an egg, and cajun fries for close to $25. The hibachi menu is also DELICIOUS. I have ordered for pickup here with my mother twice and both times service was fast and the food was delicious.“
