“I would give it 5 if it weren't Michellin and had compatible prices. I ordered scallop on a bed of arugula and beans, grilled octopus with balsamic sauce, roasted potatoes, a kind of moussaka and grilled fish with pistachio crust and supposedly pistachio pesto sauce. For dessert, chocolate mousse with ouzo. I noticed an acidic flavor throughout the dish. It could be too much lemon or vinegar, I don't know. Good food, but not unforgettable and expensive“

“Delicious & great service! We loved Esca but this was also v delicious & v healthy. Room is pretty. The bar is not as cozy & stylish as it was in its former iteration but overall we will be back & wish them great success! “This is by far one of my fave gems of New York City!As someone who’s not so big on Greek food except if directly from Greece ?? itself, this place has quality food choices period‼️By now, since this wasn’t my first time here, I can almost say I’ve eaten every appetizer available on the menu ? today me and my pals had a buffet style dinner of continuous food. Each appetizer, including new things I had never tasted, melted in my mouth with deliciousness. ??The staff overall were pleasant and our servers could have been more attentive but… nothing to be sour about. It’s never easy to tend to large crowds of people with various demands at each turn. The food here is a MUST have! This place has been a staple of soho for years, and it’s no wonder why ?Thanks for another YUMMY dinner!xx @MsRextiVegetarian options: Non meaty options“

“As always Elea, great service, great food! Our server was Christina, who was very friendly with a smile on her face which made our experience even better. As a Greek, I love Elea, it is my go to restaurant and I introduce to all my friends.“

“One of the best dining experiences I've had. Excellent food and service. The chef owner was warm and welcoming. I especially liked the chicken soup on a cold rainy day. And the yogurt was the best. I hope to return soon. Would highly recommend.“

“By now of course this place is a NYC Institution like Da Umberto, Raouls and Il Mulino. They run a good program, and the service is always attentive. The drinks come quickly, and notably the mezze are the star, along with the fresh fish. The whole bronzino is excellent. You can also almost aways get a table short notice, so that's nice too. Go with a smile on your face, and you are liable to leave with a bigger one.“

“I was eying this place ever since moving into the neighborhood and I finally visited when family came into town. The place held up to my expectations I can see why it is always busy. The staff is friendly, we did not wait for a table, and everything was served in good time. For food we did steak, salmon, lemon potatoes, and calamari, everything was so so good and the portions were big. I will definitely be coming back“

“I’ve been to Kyma a few times already and I always have a great time . First time I went on a Saturday night with a few friends and we had the time of our lives. The manager, Steve, was really nice and he made sure that we were having a good time. Yiannis, our server, had some great recommendation for food and drinks, but most importantly he was so pleasant and polite. We will def go back again.“

“Came here on a Saturday night with reservations. Very lively. Waiters were attentive. The shrimp saganaki was flavorful. The octopus was exceptional. The lamb chop was delicious. Wasn’t a big fan of the baked clams. They were too oily and not fresh. I don’t think the waiter seemed to care when my friend told him. However, we had a good time as the drinks were good.“

“Amazing food, the spinach pie, greek expresso martini, and the vegetarian moussaka was beyond anything I’d imagine. The hostess Milena was beyond amazing, and the bartender Fausto was very attentive. I will make sure the Citi team is aware about this place.Definitely will be back!“

“Had a 'dinner' of appetizers here with the family. Something for everyone-from the vegan, the vegetarian, to the carnivores. We enjoyed the fava beans dish, loved the liver and sweet reads, and the meatballs. Atmosphere was quiet, and the spot is small, so for a larger group-we we're 5 people, I'd make a reservation. Food came out super fast, and the staff was very friendly. Next time we will try the dishes.“

“Great sea food (not a restaurant) place. Leave your ego outside before you enter here b/c it’s an ego free business. Find a table to sit. Choose your fish and give it to the person at the register, tell him how you want it to be cooked and don't expect anything else. This is NOT a restaurant. it's a FISH MARKET with some tables.“

“Nisi's atmosphere is immaculate--all white interior and the sounds of beautiful Greek music. The service was great too and they were helpful to tell us that the lemon potatoes are vegan! Menu clearly marked to show vegetarian options. The horiatiki salad and the fresh galaktoboureko were my personal favorites. Food on the pricier end, but then again, it's a whole lot cheaper than a flight to Greece...Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available, but somewhat limited to mezzes (appetizers)“

“My husband and I enjoyed brunch at Paros last month and we were interested to see if dinner would be as good -- and our dinner Saturday night exceeded our expectations. We focused on smaller plates: tuna crudo, hamachi crudo, grilled calamari, zucchini fritters and spanakopita, followed by the orange cake with Greek yogurt gelato. Everything was delicious (my favorite was the grilled calamari). Excellent service, even though the restaurant and bar were quite busy.“

“Awesome brunch. Wait is really long on the weekend however and they only do walk-ins. Food came out slow and service left something to be desired but food mostly made up for it. I'd definitely try and come here more often if I lived closer and it wasn't as busy!“

“What a fabulous experience we had! The food was simply amazing and fresh and perfectly prepared. The service was excellent and the restaurant itself is beautiful! I wish I had taken more pictures but I think the fact that I didn’t just proves how immersed our group was in the experience. Simply devine and I cannot wait to return next time I’m in the city!Dietary restrictions: We had someone in our party who was gluten free and they took good care of her and she had plenty of options to choose from.“

“On a chilly Sunday afternoon Smiley and I dined outside at Village Taverna, heat lamps hung above each table, so we were nice and toasty, the food is outstanding, so is the staff, the atmosphere pleasing, we dined early just before the crowd to get these photos. “Really excellent Greek place. This is the second time I’ve visited and I’ve been impressed on both occasions by the lovely food. The tuna-salmon carpaccio is gorgeous and so good I regretted having to share it. The ink risotto and the sea bass with gnocchi are both wonderful—the gnocchi is so crispy! And for dessert we had the orange cake, which is packed with citrus flavor. Atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.“

“I went last weekend with my mom. Between us, we had the grilled pita with hummus and tzatziki, fried calamari, moussaka, and a kebab gyro.Their calamari are huge. I thought maybe as a result they would be rubbery but they were great. What stood out was the service. At one point, the waiter comes over to fill out glasses back up with water (which he did diligently throughout our meal) and my mom had literally had one sip and he still went out of his way to refill her glass. The atmosphere was real nice. We will be back.“

“Had a gathering today w approx 30 family and friends, the food from start to finish was beyond SUPERB, they truly deserve Zagat rating. The fried calamari was better than Greece stated by my sister in law who was there in September, antipasto, appetizers, fish, chicken kabob on skewers were tremendous we couldn't get enough we were licking our fingers. I personally would rate them at 10, the owner Jenny is a gem. Will be back to try their grilled Octopus.Parking: Private parking lot in back of building, not a long walk if you know how to park at least 20 cars.“

“We had a great time celebrating a birthday at GRECA. The in-house bakery made their amazingly delicious orange olive oil cake into a birthday cake for my daughter. Amazing wand gluten-free! All the dishes were fresh and tasty. The Spreads appetizer had interesting spreads that were devoured. The lamb chops and chicken souvlaki were perfectly cooked. And the orange oil cake was perfection. The staff were absolutely lovely and very friendly.“

“9 Jones Restaurant had a very mysterious and high-class mystique with a 10/10 atmosphere. The food was find overall a little bland for our taste, but the item that stole the show was the grilled octopus. The service was good but very slow. Our reservation started around 6PM and we didn’t get out main courses til 8:15PM. Did have a surprised burlesque show which was so fun!!“

“Phenomenal meal! We were lucky enough to sit in Alicia section and basically just followed her suggestions. The tzatziki, octopus, duck, and baklava were all . “It’s casual but polished casual.$5.25/ Freddo Cappuccino. It was very good. This was the item I was most impressed with at Pi Bakerie, over and above the pastries and baked dishes. If I come back to Pi Bakerie it will be specifically for the Freddo Cappuccino. I could envision myself deliberately making a detour via SoHo for this Freddo Cappuccino. Which is pretty cool that means they have a “destination item” on their menu.I’d be curious to compare with Café Lyria who also make reportedly excellent Greek Freddo Cappuccino (this is like the Italian Schakerato). Also curious to try their Peinirli (“cheese boat”). Looked delicious.“

“Absolutely loved it here! Delicious traditional/authentic Greek food with amazing portions. Came here on a Sunday afternoon, place was packed, we got seated right away. “Sparta Taverna had always been great with their food and service! For this one time off, we made a huge office order and they forgot to submit my order therefore I had to make an individual order through grub hub. And because of the service fee and delivery fee I was charged at $30 for a salad. I've made a call to Sparta to let them know if they can throw in one small tzatziki sauce as a courtesy. They'd say "No" at first but when it arrived. Inside my lunch bag they gave me the sauce and a lollipop! So sweet! I wish for them to continue their business with great success!“

“Amazing Turkish restaurant. BYOB. They treat you like family here. The hummus and ezme were amazing mezze options. The branzino was was charred perfectly, retaining the perfect flakiness and moistness of the fish fillet. Cap it off with baklava and Turkish coffee. They won’t rush you here. Life slows down at this restaurant so you can enjoy it.Parking: Cheap municipal parking. $.50 per hour“

“Milos is a very good restaurant but a meal is distracted by the high noise level and very high prices especially for whole fish entrees. But the restaurant was fully crowded so my comments may be singular. PS, oysters and live scallops were best we've had.“

“Very authentic Greek restaurant. The atmosphere of this restaurant felt like I was in one of my relatives home. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Food was great, everything was cook to perfection. The Pork souvlaki was amazing, the portion is big enough for two people. Lamb chops were perfect, super tasty. Price is on the pricier end but with the service and taste it is worth it. Highly recommend this restaurant.“

“We had the pleasure of dining at Eleni's Saturday night and it was a wonderful evening. The hostess Sren started the evening on a high note because of her warmth and friendliness. Unfortunately, my reservation had been lost when I did it on Google, but she could not have been more accommodating. She gave us a table that we could spend two hours at without being rushed. The grilled calamari, octopus, and appetizer of dips were all exceptional, as was the waitress we had. Both the waitress and Sren made a point of coming over during the meal to ensure that we were pleased with everything. The ambiance is lovely and is very inviting. I can't wait to return to this restaurant that truly values and appreciates it customers and makes you feel like an honored guest. Thank you to Sren and our waitress for a fabulous night out.“

“I have been a fan of Souvlaki GR for many years . Prices are reasonable and food is excellent. Our favs over the years have been lamb chops, lemon potatoes , meatballs , Greek salad , and of course pita wraps. Today, after our meal, on the way out, I asked them to get me baklava as take out . I got home and I am stunned to see how small the portion is for $12 bucks . I know inflation is hurting everyone but I think this is such a shame . Very disappointed . Nyc restaurants are increasingly becoming obnoxious . Please be better .“

“I like this place. They have authentic Greek pastries, warm hospitality. Nice place to sit and meet someone. Though lately the music is bumping like it's a club and it's not the relaxing vibe I'm looking for on a weekday afternoon and it keeps me from lingering any longer, it just makes me anxious whereas I think it used to be more chill here. Not what I want from a coffee shop and I couldn't get past it even with headphones on. Sundays they have live music, it feels like a family party vibe with champagne going. Try the cookies in the kiosk across, so good.“

“Good-bad-good. Idon't like feta, but i LOVE mac and cheese. I decided to take a chance because it was a type of feta I'd never had and Google said it was a different flavor. It still tasted like feta, but OMG was this dish SO GOOD! Maybe it was the haloumi or the spices. Definitely recommend. I also don't like olives. I know, "Why go to a Greek restaurant?" They were in the empanaditas (think small empanadas), but I didn't notice. They were super delicious as well. The flavor of the tzatziki didn't mesh well with it, but the two separately were amazing! We had a few issues with the food, but they were receptive and tried to make it better. I will absolutely go back! The waitress was great! Helpful, patient, courteous.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options are available.“

“Beautiful large space with outdoor seating, inside seating and bar seating with open walls during nice weather. Happy hour specials Wed/Thur/Sun 2 people on a Wednesday night, happy hour drink specials before 8 pm. Beautiful Spring night so we started with the walls open where we were seated. Friendly and attentive and helpful staff. Couldn't decide between the sesame coated feta or the halloumi fries so we got both and they were amazing. We went with the smaller order of feta cubes (3 pieces) instead of the large (5 pieces) and it came with pita bread that we happily dipped in the honey from the feta. We also shared the fish special of the day - beer battered cod with beetroot and garlic potatoes (skordalia?). We also has the happy hour special white wine (half price!). I definitely want to come back and try more food and try their brunch, plus possibly their bottomless brunch drink option. My friend lives near here and said she tried their brunch in the past and recommends it. I also want to try their cocktails. My friend said they're very good here but I noticed they are a little pricey and I didn't want to overdue it on a weeknight. So glad I finally made it here and definitely want to come back soon!“

“We ordered one Mediterranean veggie pita, which was very good, but it had too much dressing for my taste. It felt like eating a Mediterranean salad in a pita ? We also ordered the beef gyro, but when we arrived at Central Park to eat, we realized we got lamb instead of beef. Nevertheless, it was absolutely delicious. We would have preferred more tzatziki though on the gyro. Would definitely come back!“
