Everything was just on point and the service was amazing, for what I paid for in the end it was worth it, shout outs to the chefs working hard in the bad and all of the staff in the store for making my time amazing. The atmosphere did not disappoint—the cozy, romantic setting was perfect, and the attentive service added to the overall experience. However, as our beautifully crafted courses arrived, we couldn’t help but feel underwhelmed by the presentation. While the flavors delivered a delightful blend of sophistication and comfort, the visual impact just wasn’t there. Given Margot’s esteemed reputation, we had hoped for dishes that matched the ambiance in terms of artistry.

That said, the food itself was well-executed, and the balance of flavors left a lasting impression. Margot excelled in creating a warm, inviting space, and while the presentation missed the mark, the overall dining experience still had its moments of culinary pleasure. Would we return? “Went for dinner last night with my hubby for his birthday. We had a delicious dinner with excellent service. We enjoyed frog legs, escargot, sole and filet mignon. We had desert but those weren't our favorite dishes. They sang happy birthday to my husband and brought us a delicious dessert cocktail gratis. We will definitely be coming back soon!“

“I absolutely love this restaurant. Chef Yuu, along with the other chefs and staff, is very friendly. It’s hard to find a place in NY where you can enjoy classic French cuisine. This restaurant offers a wonderful experience with a touch of Japanese delicacy and precision, along with unique Japanese ingredients. I also discovered the excellence of wine pairings here; the synergy between the food and wine makes everything even more delicious. The final dessert is outstanding as well. “This is my third visit to Endswell with the same friend. It’s our go to spot when we’re looking for a good meal, good drinks , and great service. Menu doesn’t change often but what’s on there, chef’s kiss! Usually have the Coq Au Vin, Streak Frites, or Smash Burger. Also the octopus skewers…too yummy! The cocktailsbe cocktailing and solid wine options.“

“On vacation in New York for 2 weeks, we went to have lunch in this restaurant, quite by chance. Don’t hesitate! There were 5 of us, 2 young parents who live there, with a baby in a pram and 2 happy grandparents. The establishment is small, but superb, very beautiful decor, and the value for money for New York is really great. The boss is French, very friendly, as are all his staff. Special mention to his friend from Brussels. We had a great time, and above all, we ate very well, everything was delicious and plentiful. THANKS ! Delighted high alpines.“

Personally I love the Parisian sandwich. Bread is always on point (which is increasingly hard to find), and the sandwich is simple yet incredibly flavorful, which I often put down to the quality of ingredients.

I love a good burger but if you're looking for something a little more elevated, get the oxtail dip on baguette!!!!!!!!! Absolutely delicious. I almost stopped by today for another one.

“A former colleague of mine traditionally sends me an item from Pistache every New Year. Last year it was a lovely King Cake. This year it was a pistachio buche de Noel which was absolutely fantastic. Beautiful to look at and delicious. It was personally delivered by the owner on New Year’s Eve! I wish I had taken a photo as it was a work of art. I attach a king cake photo from last year. I highly recommend every delicacy coming from his kitchen. I have never been disappointed.“
