“My colleague and I were in Brooklyn for a work trip and decided to try Al di Là Trattoria, and what a gem it turned out to be! We opted to dine at their wine bar, conveniently located right around the corner on Carroll Street, and it was the perfect selection.

The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was impeccable. Our bartender was the definition of professional, attentive. As for the food, the meal was absolutely delicious.

This is a must-visit spot in Carroll Gardens. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back next time we are in the area. A 5-star place for sure!“

“Food is yummy! My go to place in Brooklyn! Coda is excellent and the flatbread are also yummy! The Sangiovese red wine on tap is also nice! Highly recommend and make reservations in the weekend“

“Food was delicious and location is great, but my waiter service received was mediocre. The waiter was distracted when we were ordering and he got rude when we asked a few questions due to a dietary restriction. The other staff was pleasant.“

The use of space is pretty amazing and well adapted to the neighborhood They neighborhood is great I saw the prettiest dogs in Brooklyn all walking in full force The place has a friendly family-type vibe Th coworkers are all friendly with each other and warm to their clientele The food is impeccably well prepared, tasty and quite authentically Italian I doubt one could find anything more authentic with such fine ingredients and creatively presented anywhere other than Italy. If you do, let it be known and I’m sure the staff here would feel the kindred spirit of another fine cuisine It’s in the medium-high priced category but it lives up to the prices in its quality Wait staff is genuine and kind and do make a great effort to make one comfortable and enjoy their meal Highly recommend“

“On my visit to NY, I went to Brooklyn and discovered Bar Mario, a bar that has all the magic you're looking for, with excellent service down to the last detail. It offers a variety of drinks and delicious prepared dishes. The menu is incredible, I highly recommend it.

“I'd had this place on my list for a long time and finally got the chance to visit! I was not disappointed. We were seated on the outdoor terrace (which was pretty loud and cold, because of the AC). Volume aside, the food was amazing! Standouts: the tiramisu and corn pasta. A great neighbourhood spot, though a little pricey!“

“The atmosphere and service were outstanding. We only went for desert and coffee. The chocolate cake was amazing. A couple we vacationed with has eaten dinner there 2 nights before and said how amazing the food was. One of the staff members even gave us a personal tour and history of the building. Will be back to Brooklyn and will definitely come back.“

“I'm visiting New York City for the 2nd time. My friend and I love Italian food. We found this place on a groupon. We ventured into Brooklyn on the subway and Convivium Osteria. The wait staff were gracious and attentive. Our food arrived quickly, it was hot and delicious. Dessert was divine. I wish I lived closer so I could eat here again and again. 👍😊“

“I hosted a birthday party in Rosticceria Evelina's semi private room for 11 people and it was absolutely perfect. They provide a very reasonable, flat, per person rate for a prix fix menu (many places have a very high spend minimum) and they created a personalized menu card for our event which was a lovely, personalized touch.

The food is amazing - one dish was better than the last. They accommodated for allergies and allowed me to make a last minute change.

“Jr’s has become my go to spot when my husband and I want a reliably delicious meal and welcoming vibes. I love how sweet the staff is and how the space just hugs you with a throwback and warm feeling. We were also lucky to coincide one night with the former owners and I loved hearing about how many of the photos are real family pictures that were preserved. Our usual (all shared) is currently:
Arancini salad (so satisfying!),
Paccheri (perfect level of spice),
Ravioli (such a nice touch with the mint ricotta),
and the whole branzino.
An absolute must every time for dessert: the rainbow cake. Trust me, you won’t regret the calories.“

“Saraghina Caffe is a true gem in the heart of Fort Greene. We were warmly greeted by the owner, who I noticed chatted and laughed with many of the guests. I took my most Italian of Italian friends and they vouched for the authenticity and sheer deliciousness of the food. I opted for the beets and citrus starter, the salmon main course, and shared both tiramisu and probably the best chocolate mousse I’ve ever had. The impeccable timeless classic design, with wood paneling, brass, and a well stocked bar as centerpiece, has just the right amount of lighting, creating a cozy ambiance, perfect for a date or dinner with family / friends / colleagues. “Centanni had been my go-to Italian in Crown Heights for years. It’s very cute (though the indoor tables are a bit crowded now), I love the covered patio, and enjoy the food.
