“Always a pleasure coming to Rove! Tonite was an exceptional experience. I wish i got the bartenders name. Wednesday 4/24/24 between 7-9pm. Nice nails and curly hair. She was funny pleasant and took care of us. Long story short, after great apps and drinks, paid the bill and left…I dropped a $50 out of my pocket after I paid and left and was only 2 store fronts down and she came after me telling me you dropped a bill and gave it back. You don’t see this honestly often anymore. Kudos to her and Rove deserves her as an employee.“

I thought the Spicy Monkfish was very flavorful and good and the dolsot albap was surprisingly very tasty. Im usually not the biggest fan of albap but this was not too fishy and the crispy rice on the bowl was very pleasant and went well with the dish.
Duck bulgogi probably least special and ok to skip but not bad.“

“We are never disappointed when we stop here when we visit NYC. Atmosphere and food is always fantastic and they make killer Manhattans. We just went for the 2023 Rockefeller tree and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. so happy they were decorated for the holidays. 100% go to in our opinion.“

“Had the Mr. Bifana Slider and it was a magical experience. Such flavor in those things. The bread was to die for. Here I was expecting the typical brioche bun on a tiny slider. You can imagine my ecstasy when fresh rolls arrived instead, with deliciously seasoned slices of pork in between. “We went for bottomless brunch and it was great! Food was pretty good, not spectacular but good portions and tasted good. Bottomless mimosas were definitely bottomless. The waitress was attentive and kept our refills coming despite the place getting pretty busy towards the end of our time. Prices weren't bad either.

The ambience is very cool. The music was amazing! Drake, Chris Brown, R&B from the early 2000s, and Latin pop.
We saw they have pretty good happy hour deals so we will definitely be coming back during the week!“

We got a few drinks all were great some on the happy hour some not. We also got some food items the corn cheese pancake a fav and the blood sausage rice cake which was also delicious. “I went to The Lonesome Club with my husband and his family on a Friday night and was so pleasantly surprised by the experience! We sat outside at one of the picnic tables (the place was busy, so definitely recommend a reservation for a weekend time). It was very family friendly, there were lots of families gathered at the picnic tables and kids were enjoying playing on the sidewalk. We enjoyed the neighborhood vibes along with the food and service! We ordered a bunch of food and shared everything (the Irish soda bread and butter were INSANE). Shrimp cocktail, burger, Irish soda bread, fish and chips, bucatini with clams, and the chocolate guinness cake. Everything was delicious and our server was very attentive! We will definitely be back!“

There's a lot of seating area, including couches. I tend to like cozier places. They also have a photo booth. They have a good Happy Hour. Hannah is a great bartender and very nice. “Stopped by on a whim for dinner and so glad we did!! A big thank you to Charlotte G. - she could not have been more attentive! She recommended her favorite spritz and highlighted the Saturday deal, and constantly and kindly checked in on us. We had dinner on a Saturday evening at 7:45 and while others were there just for drinks, it never got too loud that I couldn’t hear my boyfriend from across the table.

We had the wings (STELLAR), the tuna crispy rice (the yuzu sauce makes it, don’t skip it!) and the wagyu sliders (ask for HP sauce, it’s very complimentary). Would totally come back for the wings.

“Tasty and filling, but with a few caveats. There were three of us, and we ordered four dishes family-style. The portions were generous, and we left very full with leftovers.

Everything was good, although nothing was especially memorable for me. I’d rank the bulgogi (japchae) first, followed by the Snowing Cheese Potato Pancake, Grilled Spicy Chicken, and sashimi. The seaweed rolls with the sashimi were tasty, but the fish itself was just okay.

The potato pancake had a surprisingly stretchy, almost mochi-like texture. It was a little jarring at first because it wasn’t what I expected, but it was interesting, and I can see why some people love it. It’s also a bit bland without a sauce. I might order it again for the texture, although I still have mixed feelings about it.

The Grilled Spicy Chicken was barely spicy despite being specifically labeled that way. Even our spice-sensitive friends agreed, so offering different spice levels might help.

A few smaller issues also added up: the music was extremely loud, and the first-floor elevator area had a very strong smell with wet, sticky floors. Near the stairwell, there also appeared to be a trash can with a large reddish puddle underneath it.

Overall, the food was good and generously portioned, but I’m not sure I’d return.

Love coming here for random sporting events or just meeting up with friends to watch random shit together on tv (the Olympics, Super Bowl, oscars). They will put anything on for you!

But it’s really the food that keeps me coming back. Love that appetizer sampler and the burgers plus the wings. Great bar staff too (bless them for always supplying me with ice cold lime soda water with my margs).

“(Nov 2014) Uber cool high tech mod fitout and no shortage of opinionated beer nerds (complete with obligatory cult brewery t-shirts). Even at 2pm on a Sunday arvo. Doesn’t quite have the warm of a traditional US bar but still pretty friendly. Very international list with a focus on left of centre. Pricing on the high side but reflects the quality of the beers. Served via cabernet glasses - a nice touch. I really grew to like the place and they use a small space well. Can I say it reminds me of Two Row in Melbourne? And....btw....the only other bar I have ever seen where punters are punching out tasting notes!“
