“I must say this Hass to be one of the best places in all of White Plains, New York. I highly recommend this place. I want authentic food from my families country and this place gave it to me. My Dominican breakfast clearly was the best I’ve ever had in a long time and I make a damn good breakfast. Thank you very much. Everyone in the location. It was a great pleasure being here in this beautiful atmosphere.“

“Love the food! We found the indian food very flavorful. We loved the eggplant appetizer. We were asked if we wanted our Amul butter chicken lightly spicy, medium spicy or very spicy. It was very refreshing to have given a choice of spice level. We also had cauliflower with potatoes. The food was not too heavily spiced and very flavorful. We would definitely go back again.“

“We had a magical night at Meraki Taverna with friends. We were greeted with enthusiasm and seated where we could watch the kitchen. The waitstaff made us feel welcomed and offered great advice for our dinner and drink orders. We had the octopus and artichoke apps, which were delicious. Lamb stew, sardines and chicken kabob entrees with walnut cake and custard in phyllo dough for dessert. Everything was perfect and we felt like we were in an authentic Greek taverna for the evening. The owner and wait staff are gracious and kind. Can’t wait to go back!“

“Wowsa what a meal!!! Friends had posted beautiful pics of their meals from their tasting menu. It's cute: half the restaurant is a traditional dining room and the other is take out fish and chips. You can have a delicious meal a la carte or the tasting menu. I could not convince my husband to do the 15 course chef's tasting menu. But we did do the tasting menu with wine. Every dish was light, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. We enjoyed the wine pairings which were different (portuguese and spanish wines rounded out some American and South African wines). I am excited to come back to try more of their traditional menu and their namesake (fish and chips). Well worth a visit.“

“Yummy seafood. Good date night. It was a week day, so not so busy. I was told it was difficult to get in on weekends. I had mussels as an appetizer and some kind of chicken dish (basically chicken piccata) with risotto on the side. The mussels were amazing, and they had like a broth and toast on the side. I had in mind the chicken would be a little different, but my husband thought it was really good. The risotto was creamy and flavorful. I decided I needed a vegetable, so I ordered some broccoli. They cooked it butter with some garlic slivers, and that broccoli was just delicious. I was stuffed after that, and had that broccoli taste for a little while. Amazing.“

“This pan-Latin restaurant is a must if you are in the area. The menu had several interesting Tapas selections, which could serve as appetizers, sides, or even your main course. There were also traditional main course options, as well. We ordered a variety of fish tacos, calamari salad, brussel sprouts, and of course guacamole and chips to whet our appetites. Each were scrumptious. I had the braised beef as my main course which was moist, delicious, and just the right portion. We shared churros for dessert, which were light, crunchy, and simply divine. Service was very attentive with plenty of staff. Valet parking was a nice touch, particularly since parking can be a challenge in the area. Overall, a very fun and enjoyable dining experience.“

“Really an excellent place! I highly recommend you go here! Diego and his family were really welcoming. It's a family run business, and you can tell - the food's great! You can find parking easily on the street. The flavors were excellent, especially the home made sauces. Everything was good! There's seating inside, too.“

“The restaraunt looks small from the outside but it's huge inside. It's very well decorated with Portugal contents, which was adorable. (See pic) The servers were very professional but still remained personal with us. The ambiance inside gives off vibes like the restaurants over seas which was a nice feeling. The food... we all had different feelings in regards to the food. Personally I thought my food was delicious. I had the puree of vegetable soup as an appetizer and following I had the grilled fish. All their meals comes with fries, rice and beans; which was enough for me to share with my Gf bc it was such a huge portion. My husband and one of our bf's both had steaks and they weren't too pleased as it was filled with fat. For appetizers we also tried clams casino, and melon with prosciutto. For dessert I had rice pudding one of my favorite Portuguese desserts. I would come back.**+by the way, the owner will be closing the restaraunt in two years, retiring and moving back to Portugal. If you want to try this place come before he shuts down. ***“

Upon entering we were warmly greeted and taken care of the entire time. We began with Sonoma Saint Francis Chardonnay, with a splendid array of plump East Coast Oysters, an order of delicious Oysters Rockefeller, and hubs enjoyed his yummy New England clam chowder as he did in 2019. Entrees of: Blackened Tuna with Lime sauce, a silky Grilled Salmon Filet Beurre Blanc with pearls of Salmon Roe, and a large Caesar Salad with grilled Chicken strips. Happy Birthdays sung at dessert with an assortment of Tiramisu, Vanilla Ice Cream and Key Lime Tart. Let's make a wish! Lovely ambience + Wishing all a Hoppy Easter too! :) Thank you for reading“

“Excellent Prime Cut of Meat. Delicious and perfectly cooked. Sides are excellent perhaps except for the tomato-onion which may have been out of season? Otherwise, every side dish was amazing. “This is not your over the top stiff club room style steak house. It is however a steakhouse with great staff and a more relaxing atmosphere where you feel like family. This is a place where you can take family or enjoy the bar area dining with friends and coworkers. The food is excellent. The crab cocktail is amazing with a healthy portion. The escargot...best I have had. My steak has always been cooked perfectly and delish. I could go on.They even pulled off my apple martini.“

“Food was terrible. I didn’t enjoy the cheesesteak at all. So bad I almost ordered a second one as soon as I was done so no one else would have to suffer. If you can’t tell I’m kidding please order off the children’s menu. Pete’s has always had great food and still does. But don’t get the cheesesteak, those are for me.“

“FROZEN FISH!! Do NOT recommend! We have been going here for years and loved it. Tonight we took friends who had never been. The food took forever to come(over 15 minutes). When it did, the snow pea leaves were only warm and the duck with mushrooms was dry (in spite of being served lukewarm on a layer of fat). My deep fried whole fish took another 10 minutes and when it arrived it WAS FROZEN under the “crispy skin”. THEY USE FROZEN FISH!?!? I suppose the fish in the tank are for show!! (And it was whisked away with little or no apologizes). After all these years! We were very disappointed and embarrassed.“
“I decided to get Wanna Empanada for my son's 4th birthday party instead of the go-to pizza. Wanna Empanada responded very quickly to me with a catering menu and were so easy to work with. We picked up the empanadas the night before since our party was on a Sunday. They provided instructions on how to reheat and packaged the empanadas so beautifully that we didn't even need to pull out serveware to display them. We ordered 7 different kinds for a total of 78 empanadas and every single one was delicious. We hosted 20 people at our place and were only left with 6 empanadas as leftovers. Our guests insisted on taking leftovers and could not stop eating them. Afterwards, I received texts from our guests telling me how delicious the empanadas were. The outside are the perfect thickness and perfectly crisp and they are STUFFED with filling. No skimping here. We will now be expected to serve empanadas at our gatherings instead of our usual pizza.“

“Consistently delicious food and terrific service! I've been here may times over the years, and never have I been disappointed. The owners have added on to include outdoor seating and a liquor license! They have a nice wine list though I can't comment on other offerings. The dining room is small and can be a bit noisy. Reservations are strongly encouraged and leave time to find parking on the street.“

“To make the experience a little fun you get a “ pass word “ sent to you the day of your reservation... a knock on the door, a door panel slides open and you say the magic word ! It starts the whole b experience! First blush as you walk in your imported to a different era with the wait staff in appropriate outfits and the walls and music surround you with that “ speakeasy “ feel! Our server, Karissa was spot on with her comfortable way she welcomed us and explained the specials. We shared some of the offerings since they listed some as half or full order and Brussel sprout sides was excellent. All in all we will go back for sure.“

“Decent food and drinks. Spectacular view.We came on a rainy Saturday and had to wait a few mins for a table of 5. Servers were attentive and our food came quickly. The stars for us were the tapas and ceviche. We would come back just for that and some drinks. We did wish they provided more of each of the tapas. The entrees themselves were good not great. For the prices, I'd expect more but that's typical Westchester.“

“Very good food, and great cocktails. Went there around lunchtime and happened to be during their happy hour, so there were very good specials on food and drinks. We got mussels, octopus, abd a couple of other things, and they were all tasty. They also featured $1 raw oysters. Mostly good, but I did leave one or two on the tray because they looked iffy. Still, I definitely will go back to this place! And I'll add that I was impressed with their cocktails. They were pleasantly potent, and well crafted!“

“One of those places where it is what it is. Good value. Host was welcoming. Food was good, a little salty some dishes. Enjoyed the whole branzino and brussel sprouts the most. Cocktail yummy, not too strong. Super clean bathroom which is always a plus. Granted we went during colder weather so flies were on vacay. I'd return, but could see the possiblity of experiencing what some of negative reviews mentioned if they were busy and during summer months. If in area... Why not check it out.“

“This would be our first time trying Peruvian. The place is small but delivered very highly on flavor. We ordered the lomo saltado and the arroz con mariscos. Both dishes were super flavorful. Lomo saltado was the best of the two. If in the neighborhood and don’t care for the ambience, I highly recommend this place for adventurous eaters!“

“Welcoming, New Peruvian Restaurant in Byram, right on the Greenwich CT and Port Chester NY border. Greeted by a smiling hostess asking how she could be of assistance. I ask for a take-out menu and was guided to the dinner menu. Wanting to stay with Peruvian food I was familiar with, I went with: Chupe de Camarones; Ceveche de Pescado; and Saltado de Camarones. The shrimp soup was a little different, but as good as, any that we have had in this area. The broth had a little more milk than others and I don't believe I've ever had a couple of small pieces of chicken in the soup either. The "stir-fry" shrimp, with scallions, tomatoes, and peppers over French fries w/a nice side of white rice was very tasty. The marinated mixed fish was extremely fresh and properly marinated at the same time. It is one of the very best Ceveche's we've had in a very long time! Will we be back.....?We can't wait to sample the rest of their menu.“
“Had a great dinner there last night. Robbie is an amazing host. Had the shrimp cocktail (with a couple of extras from Robbie because, hey, we're nice people ?). The swordfish was among the best I've had anywhere at any time. Cooked perfectly. The halibut was also flaky and delicious. Yeah, it's not 5 star decor for sure, but who cares. Just go for the fish! We'll be back.“
“5 star lunches for under 20! With steam vegetables and rice... walking take a look at the lunch menu order anything you want! For dinners that just need to be warmed up... been going there for years and although the price is increased, it's worth it.“
“Over the last 20 years or so, there have been several restaurants that leased this location. A few pizza places, and now Exit 4. Although Exit 4 has tons and tons of food options, I find it wildly overpriced for what it is. There is always a long wait for food, and I just don't think the price is justified for a food hall. Despite that, the food is pretty good, and it's good for groups (if you're willing to wait and possibly all eat at different times because everyone's food will likely arrive at different points). Since groups of people tend to have different taste buds and preferences, a food hall like this is an excellent choice, as each person can get whatever type of food they want. The sushi, for example, is really fresh and a yummy option. All in all, not my first choice when I am looking for food in town, but not the last, either.“
