“One of the best halal carts I have found. The name is different now but it's in the same location next to Walgreens. The prices have gone up to $8 for chicken or lamb and $9 for the combo but the portion size is great and the salad has cucumbers, bell peppers, lettuce, onions, and tomatoes. Much better than other carts that try to skimp on the meat or just have lettuce for the salad.

The standouts for this place was the crab roe Tofu, the summer max (cocktail), the pea shoots, fatty beef in sour soup, the feihong spicy shrimp, and the fish blossom(sweet and sour). They peking duck was good they slice it for you tableside. The caviar wasn't good with the toast, there's no taste. Didn't order liver, it's every tough and not silky. The lamb was good, everything that's spicy we order aren't spicy. Even the chilli oil was not spicy. The fish we order was very fresh. Beef was tender. “The best hotpot I’ve ever had. Our server, Chen Feng was very attentive and made sure all our needs were met and was always there whenever we needed him and he was very friendly and polite as well. I came for the $20 lunch combo and it did not disappoint, the food was too much for me ?. All you can eat snacks and side dishes. Loved the food 10/10. There was free tea, and the bathroom was amazing too, with toothpaste, toothbrush, bidets and free pads. And we got free ice cream and candy at the end. Will definitely be coming back in the future!

“A very fun and entertaining meal. Everything was really good - my favorites were the broad chili noodle and mushroom Peking duck. They really like to add a bit of flair with their meal presentation. I do wish that you could eat the mapo tofu rice after it's set on fire - who doesn't love crispy rice? I guess they use some sort of accelerant that makes it inedible.

“I really like Lucas Sin, so I was expecting this place to be a little more. My expectations aside, the staff was overworked even after 8:30pm, but they were still courteous. I would say this place would still rank much better than Panda Express (there's one down the street), given that this is kind of like a make-your-own type of place (think Sweetgreen, DIGG, etc.) but with a proper Chinese flair (again, contrast with Panda Express).

I would say that the seating area was a little not well-maintained, but you are served with a bowl used for a take-out anyway, so just take it to a place you feel more comfortable eating.

The cream fried shrimp reminds me of walnut shrimp from Chinese restaurants. Shrimps are big. The frying is good. The sauce taste like mayo, honey and a bit of mustard. 8/10“

The service was great and the coconut chicken was so juicy and tender. My dad is from Hainan so I can say the taste is definitely authentic. They even have clay pot rice! “I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“
