“Took a nice drive to one of our first dates spots… Palisades mall… We always seen this place busy, we decided to give it a try for a late lunch. If drinks is their specialty, then they nailed it. The food paired well deliciously. This is a “we will be back” type of place. Kid friendly too.“

“Dee-licious!!! I ate the Old School Philly cheesesteak too fast to take a pic! It was SO good! The Old School fries are super tasty, too! A little more costly than typical fast food choices, but worth it. Just wish the roll was a little more toasted. Highly recommend if you are the Palisades Mall food court!“

“Second time here and both times have been exceptional. I had the fois gras terrine with peach and chili which had the perfect balance of sweetness to cut through the fois gras, with a little bit of heat from the chili. My Wife had the smoked salmon on Gouda hash brown which although very rich was her highlight of the meal! For main I had the 21oz sirloin and my wife had the iberico pork shoulder - both cooked to perfection.The ambience of the restaurant is cosy, but unsurprisingly upmarket and the staff are all very pleasant.“

“It is always such a great experience, the service is excellent and the food is amazing. My mother, husband and sister all ordered the short ribs special and they all agreed it was over the top delicious. My other sister had the Halibut and she was very satisfied with her dish and I had the duck which is always amazing.“

“Our absolute favorite, go-to restaurant. The service is great - the owner is welcoming (even once escorted our toddler to the c-store next door to buy some candy) and all the wait staff is great, especially Jason who is incredibly kind. Food is excellent quality and fairly priced for how good it is. Pastas are cooked perfect al dente. Great meat dishes especially the pork chop french cut. The desserts are quite good as well - love the coconut cake. Because it's not huge it isn't quiet but we've never found it to be uncomfortably loud and it has a great ambience.“

“We had a wonderful experience having our post-wedding brunch at Mint Premium Foods! We worked closely with Alberta, who created a beautiful, personalized menu with our food and drink selections. The owners stayed on site during the event and were very detailed oriented. Ben and the waiters were attentive and responsive to our requests and even helped move tables so friends could sit together. Alberta played soft background music from the bride's culture to add to the atmosphere. The overall vibe of mint is unique and you feel like you're at a shop/restaurant in the Mediterranean with it displays of gourmet cheeses, olives and bottles of wine.The food at Mint is absolutely delicious, plentiful, perfectly cooked and attractively presented! For our customized brunch, we had four courses: For appetizers, we had family style cheese & charcuterie boards and calamari, followed by individual choice of specialty salad, individual main course and family style desserts (Baklava, Pannacotta, Bread Pudding, Creme Brulee). Everyone raved about the food, from the outstanding cheeses to the Wagyu meat burgers, sandwiches, salads, Moroccan chicken, risotto, etc. We highly recommend Mint for a meal or a place to host a special event!“

“Delighted that we finally gave this a try with some 'foodie' friends. This was a very pleasant surprise. The service was friendly and excellent. When we asked about two of the Portuguese wines on the wine list. The waitress brought us a sample of each to help us decide. Just that deserves an extra star for service We had two appetizers: the lobster tostones and a special bacalhau. They we both delicious. We tried three of the entrees on the menu. The risotto with lobster had nice chunks of lobster on an al dente risotto with gruyere, the crab cakes with a small salad and the fish and chips. All three of the entrees were done very well. We all agreed we will be again!“

“If it’s brunch, lunch or dinner Just Janice is the perfect spot. Amazing staff and great food. Couple favorites are the pancakes for brunch, fish tacos for lunch and for dinner definitely penne vodka. Janice and Ali are so sweet and treat everyone like family!“

Twice, recently, I dined at I'l Fresco with friends and family members; The words they used to describe Il Fresco were: -Fabulous - dinner was scrumptious -Phenomenal restaurant and staff -Tastiest sauce in the world - delicious hot bread out of the oven. -An Exceptional dining experience. -Amazing homemade tiramisu - wonderful desserts -Best meal ever - better than the meals I had while visiting Sorrento, Italy. From my cousin who went back to Belfast, Northern Ireland: I am keen to get back to visit again and hopefully we can visit the fantastic restaurant again, can't remember the name otherwise it would be getting a 5 star from me. “Taco Thursday’s! Who doesn’t like a taco? Food is very fresh and best Mexican food around. Margaritas are made fresh with squeezed limes not a mix. One of my favorite places for Sunday breakfast! Everyone is very friendly and welcoming.“

“Went here with my Mom and Sister for Mother's Day. Never been before. The food was out of site! Everything we ordered was incredible. Service was great. Everyone was kind, attentive, and accommodating. We sat outside and enjoyed watching ppl prep their boats for the season. Such a nice ambience. Definitely recommend.“

“Black Cat Cafe was awesome! Came in just as they were opening on a Sunday morning with my 2 year old. Service was great, and the person working was very accommodating of the young kid. Highly recommend getting breakfast here and then checking out the framers market just up the hill. Parent pro-tip, the Ivington location for the farmers market is right next to a playground.Kid-friendliness: I'm definitely calling this one kid friendly. They even had some toys on hand. Also, other patrons were not put off by the presence of a young kid.“

“Great little pub with an old school local vibe. Burgers and wings are very good. The wings are on the larger side so if you're more into the smaller wings with less meat on the bone you may not love them.My kids love the pizza. I'm a little more neutral on it due to the crust leaning a little towards a "store bought" type. But the sauce and toppings are spot on.The employees are great across the board. They all seem to enjoy working there vs just "having a job". Good place to hang with some friends or eat with the family.Parking: Depending on the time of day can be a little challenging.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly in the dining room for sure. The bar area has high tops but I wouldn't say that space is kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Not the easiest to access for people with disabilities.“

“I have been here multiple times and everytime the food and service are excellent. This time it was for breakfast with the Easter bunny. It was a perfectly executed passed brunch. With all the kids it was nice not to have to wait in a buffet line.“

“Our server was not interested in serving us to the level she should have. Normally the servers are very personable. Not this time. When you are asked if you want your martini served in a martini glass that's a problem. I asked for stuffed olives and was served plain. She corrected it later after I asked. I blame training on that. The manager was fantastic! Very attentive and personable. We have dined there many times and food is always terrific. It was nice to hear live music tonight. Please tell your servers NOT to stack plates. It's rude and disgusting. You're not a diner.“

“I love Beni's! Their sauce is very similar to my mother's. I love to take my grandchildren to eat there. Their pizzettas are delicious! It's just a great place to go have a nice Italian meal with a glass of wine in a very comfortable atmosphere. I'm sure you'll enjoy what they have to offer.“

“As a pescatarian who doesn't touch dairy, you'd think I don't have much to say. But I do! Cause I'm an author. Great place. Charming ambiance. Staff is super polite without being overbearing. Food was presented as beautifully as it tasted. If you're going to whine about prices (or life, for that matter), just eat at home. But if you want a mini vacation, definitely dine here.“

“Fantastic space with a lively, upscale, upbeat atmosphere. Welcoming, energetic vibe on a Saturday night. We've been there twice with a party of 6, and the food has been excellent both times. The veal chop... to die for! Wonderful service the 1st time. Everything was perfect. It was just ok last week, at best. But they were super busy and perhaps short-handed. In any event, there was an automatic 20% tip applied to the bill, so perhaps the server didn't care to give it her personal best. Still, we'll definitely return and recommend Roost.“

“Went back to Doghouse after a long hiatus and was pleasantly surprised that nothing changed except the live Jazz music on Thursday nights! Very cool! Food was the usual good greasy type except HUGE portions! My cheesesteak was large and tasty as well as my girl's grilled chicken sandwich... def get your moneys worth! Service was spotty but acceptable but then again it's a hometown pub, what do you expect? Stop in on Thursday nights for the live Jazz, saves a trip into the city!!“
