“Little hole-in-the-wall place with a ton of character and good food. The owner was super friendly and accommodating (let me order a breakfast sandwich after breakfast hours). We chatted while our order was made and it made for a nice personal experience. We felt valued although we were "just tourists".

“Perhaps the best first-time service I've ever had at a place that serves sandwiches, and I've lived in Brooklyn since the 90s. The subs themselves are solid, not gonna blow your mind or anything but definitely the best in the area. The owner and workers there are all super friendly and welcoming, which is rare in nyc but I guess par for course in this family friendly area (maybe too much so, doesn't even feel like Brooklyn).

Was sitting in traffic on the Belt and asked google to find me a nearby deli...Jimmy's Famous pops up...less that 5 mins away....hell yeah....ordered a turkey hero with provolone....I'm a Chef by profession...this was by far the BEST Turkey Hero I've ever had. PERFECT. Owner was awesome too. We talked baseball...he had recently gone to Fenway...I had recently returned from Los Angeles and we talked Yankees, Mets, Dodgers, Boston.
