“From all the hype and reels and videos about the place I expected a lot.
Ramen was good but a bit flat in flavors.
I ordered the combo set with added toppings but ended up getting the basic dish and only half way through the rest arrived.
The Macha desert was great.“

“Great Uyghur food (similar to Uzbek/Georgian with a hint of Chinese thrown in). Highly recommend the laghman and pearl noodles (very chewy and flavorful). Lamb kebabs were perfect. Big plate chicken was spicy and tender, with more hand pull noodles dumped on top. Samsas were juicy and crispy. A great dish was the cumin mushrooms, highly recommend. Shout out to being open on Thanksgiving.“

“Lobster roll is small but good for the price ($18 including tax). They didn't have the shrimp corn chowder so I tried the clam chowder. It was watery but ok, a little too much carrots for my taste. I would give the lobster roll a try, but due to the high price, I wouldn't buy it again (To be fair it's $22-24 in my home city and it didn't have as much lobster like this one). I would give a different type of soup another try though. I tried the lobster bisque - it was good! Worth a try!

“My daughter chose this for a birthday dinner. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was fantastic. Audrey was our server. She was extremely knowledgeable of the menu, made great recommendations, she was there when we needed her without being there too often. I would highly recommend Rosella Sushi. Can’t wait to get back to New York City and return for a meal here. It also makes it extra cool when Chef Jeff is wearing a Florida Gator hat!“

“My plus one and I really enjoyed our time here. We had just gotten home from vacation and were in a mood for Ramen and this place did not disappoint.
Let me just say that this place has such a traditional Japanese vibe to it…the staff is warm and welcoming and the food was spectacular.
We had the ramen, both original and spicy and it was very delicious. We also had two Asahi beers and called it a day.
Overall, I will come back to this place more often.“

“The waiters in white coats are busy behind the counter, the menu has not changed for decades, and even the lighting seems to have remained in the last century - this is the old New York I want.“

“I've been the first time in NYC and i wanted to try some Japanese food, so i went to KUU Ramen. The ambiente ist very small and calm. “I love Thai food in general and I have had a lot of it a lot of different places. This is the best chicken pad see ew I think I’ve ever had. The view of 1st Ave is super cute and they played great music so I can’t have asked for a better atmosphere and vibe. The service was lovely and fast. Presentation of the food was also a step above and the place is super clean. I’d highly recommend and I hope I come back soon too. Only complaint was $6 for a sparkling water which I didn’t realize I’d be charged for. Oh well. I’ll skip it next time.“

“Great local pho spot. Crispy spring rolls and rib eye summer rolls are delicious! Great way to start before my signature pho. There’s a method to my madness when mixing my pho but the base brother is excellent, deep and flavorful but still light.“

“You cannot beat their happy hour! Each piece of sushi is around double the size of your typical NYC piece. I also got the sushi tacos and those were fun and different from what I typically get. I also got a bottle of the cold sake. I will definitely be coming back here soon!“

“They want to make you happy, and do a lot to show it. Dishes we tried included the caviar dumplings (juicy, wonderfully contrasting flavors, fantastic sauce) short ribs (falliing-off-the- bone tender) and great hand rollls and unagi don. Things got a little busy, and they came up to apologize for unagi main dish being delayed, and plated a free roll. Not necessary, not sought, but appreciated. Even the synthetic maple tree, with its foliage forward orange leaves, looked great.“

Kid-friendliness: Very considerate to ask if you have any allergens.“

“Loved it — everything was delicious, and the vibe is classic Chinatown energy. A true NYC institution (it first opened in 1938) and often called the second-oldest restaurant in Manhattan’s Chinatown, just behind Nom Wah. There are no frills—just reliable, flavorful dishes that stand the test of time. Definitely one of the best spots for late-night Chinese comfort food. Can’t wait to go back!“

“Did a girls night out here and it did not disappoint. The decor is so so pretty and inspired by the floating markets in thailand made it feel so cozy on a cold fall night. The food and drinks were to DIE for!!!
* Tom Ka Za: a take on the classic coconut base soup was so tropical and creamy highly recommend trying
* Watermelon: super refeshing and light was perfect to pair with some of the heavier dishes
* Calamari: was sooo yummy!! super crispy battered squid with a tangy sweet sauce was to die for
* Shrimp Donuts: very crispy crunchy and sooo well seasoned and was JAM PACKED with shrimp. am picky about my seafood but this did not disappoint
* Duck Yaowarat: this dish was a family recipe and truly did not disappoint. the duck was tender and flavorful with a lovely mushroom sauce that felt both clean and savory. would highly recommend!!!
* Kai Tod Hat Yai: first time trying thai style fried chicken and it was so good. it had a delicious curry broth and roti similar to a roti canai paired with yummy flavorful fried chicken. was pleasantly surprised by this twist on fried chicken.
* Coconut Pudding: a perfect end to a heavy meal these were light and creamy without being too sweet.
Cannot recommend this place enough for the next time you’re looking for a great thai meal in brooklyn.“

“All the dishes were fantastic, but my favorite was the tandoori lamb kebab, it was absolutely delicious. The exterior was perfectly crispy, yet the meat remained tender and juicy. If you love lamb, you definitely need to try it. I ate an entire pound on my own. The guyru laghman was also great, with rich and flavorful seasoning. While the other dishes might not have been as remarkable, they were still well above average. The only thing that didn’t suit my taste was their dessert. The dessert was overly sweet, almost excessively so, though that might be their signature style. As for the service, it seems like only their daughter speaks English, but her voice is quite soft, and it feels like she’s contributing to the family business out of obligation. However, this doesn’t affect anything, I’d still go back again.“

“Sao Mai is my go-to Vietnamese restaurant and has been for the past seven years. My favorite dish is the cơm bù lúc lắc (beef cubes)—absolutely delicious. Their pho tai is incredible, and the shrimp summer roll is a must-try (I just add a dash of hot sauce to the sauce they provide). I love that it’s family-owned with a warm, friendly small-business atmosphere, and their prices are fantastic.“

“Super great to have a restaurant with clear gluten free labels, and to have certainty its allergen free. The food was ok, and could use a little more flavors. Portion sizes are large and it hit the spot for feeling full and satisfied, and still had leftovers.“

“Dweji-gomtang (pork bone broth soup) is really smooth and clear. You could taste the richness of the pork while drinking the broth. The pork is slicing into really thin slices and it goes really well with the gochu-ji. The spicyness balances the greasy taste of the pork. The side dish kimchi radish is crisp and balanced the whole dish. The restaurant is a little bit small and doesn’t have a lot of space, but definitely worth a try for its pork broth soup“

“We went on a Wednesday evening around 6:00. We wanted a slow paced meal on our last evening after being rushed at all our other restaurants closer to the Theatres. This was perfect choice. Our waitress allowed us a pleasant stay and the food and wine were great. We had a bottle of Pinot Grigio, the 38 Salad, and shared the Short ribs, which were as good as advertised!!! The star was our waitress from the first hello....she is a rare gem in NYC...sweet, interested in you having a good experience, and efficient!!! Highly Recommend!“

“Kbap & Wings in Midtown Manhattan is the perfect spot for comforting Korean food under $15. The 6-piece soy garlic or snow cheese wings are a must-try for just $12—crispy, flavorful, and satisfying. Don’t miss the chewy rice cake skewers or the hearty bulgogi kimbap. Pair it all with a refreshing Milkis, and you’ve got the perfect meal!“

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“Ichiran is a paradise for true ramen lovers! As a ramen enthusiast, I can confidently say that their ramen is exceptional in both flavor and texture. The rich, flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles create an unforgettable taste that keeps you coming back for more.
What really stands out is the ability to customize your ramen to your liking – from spice level to noodle firmness. The atmosphere at Ichiran is designed to let you fully enjoy the experience, with individual booths that allow you to focus solely on the incredible taste without distractions.
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to savor authentic Japanese ramen. Ichiran sets a high standard, and as a devoted fan, I’ll definitely be back!

“This place is awesome! We get takeout here often but the food definitely tastes better here. However, the items are always well packed and always arrive impressively piping hot. It never disappoints.
Their food is delicious and the service is friendly. I love that the silverware and napkins are available table side.
They give you a generous portion of kimchi and don't skimp on the refills. Their kimchi is definitely one of my favorites. I'd also like to note that they include a good portion with your meal - even if you're ordering takeout.
I don't think you could go wrong with w any of their noodle dishes, but definitely try their seafood pancake. It's delicious!
This place is super busy on Saturdays so plan accordingly. Clean and spacious. I wish that they were open on Sundays.“

“Looking for an old-school midtown Manhattan bar with martinis, beer, and friendly staff? P.J. Carney’s Pub is the real deal. I’ve stopped in wearing professional clothes after client meetings and also in dance gear after class… either way, it’s relaxed and welcoming. So few bars in Midtown feel this easy. The wings are great, the drinks are strong, and the vibe is no-nonsense. In a city full of overpriced hype, this hidden gem near the N/W subway line stands out as one of the best neighborhood bars in Manhattan.“

“This is a prime example of a place you hesitate to Yelp about because you don't want too many people to know about it and thus run the risk of it being overly crowded. This place creates memorable meals. Employees are accommodating and cordial. Their classic menu items have earned their status. Future trips nearby will include this restaurant.“
