“I visited McDonald's yesterday and had a delightful experience with a lovely lady. When I requested warm water, she went above and beyond by offering me the choice between hot and slightly warm. To top it off, she even inquired about my preferred size. Exceptional service that turned a simple request into a personalized touch!“

“A mid-sized Tim's, I come here quite a bit when I'm visiting the laundromat across the street.Food is basically the same as any other Tim's, as expected & the staff are always polite & friendly.Unlike many locations, this Tim's actually serves their walk-in customers quickly instead of giving drive thru all their attention.Dining area is not huge, but enough room to be comfortable. Washrooms are always clean, as is the rest of the place.Usually not too packed, unless you come in the early morning. Keep in mind this is Rymal road, and everybody going to work between 5am and 8am is stopping in for coffee. Ok, not everyone---but you get my point.“

“Absolutely loved this little spot my sister introduced me to. Had the champagne pancakes that they are known for and it didn’t disappoint. Definitely a helping I couldn’t finish completely. Enjoyed it with a wonderful mimosa. The service was absolutely wonderful as the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Definite recommend if you are in the area. By the way, I loved the Brussel sprouts as well.“

“This is my go to coffee spot! This cafe is ALWAYS consistent in providing an amazing experience. The peanut cloud coffee is absolutely to die for, and the mocha tastes like a warm hug that everyone needs. Whenever someone asks me where to go for coffee I will always recommend this place.“

“We love this place!! Staff is so kind, food is really tasty and the place is super clean.They also provide a couple toys. There is a limited number of dogs they allow inside, so you might get waitlisted if it's too busy. I think on weekends it's good to make a reservation. There is lots of cleaner and wipes for everyone to use.“

“Took my 4 year old here for a P.A. day from school and he loved it. he has been asking to go back ever since. we played some great games, got some DND dice at a sweet price and a few miniatures to paint together at home. “The owner is so lovely, and do not even get me started on the Maple Lattes! I bring my son in and we are always greeted with kindness. This is seriously the best cup of coffee i've had yet in town! The prices are more than fair and they even host fun events. If you're in the area I'd more than suggest you popping in!“

“My partner and I did the Valentine’s Day set menu and I can’t express how impressed we were. It was so delicious and felt like fine dining but was so affordable. The atmosphere was so cute and intimate it was the perfect way to spend our Valentine’s. I have been for over a number of times over the years as well and love the baked good. I will say, I miss the coconut and tahini lattes soooo much. They were so good and really set the cafe apart from the rest downtown.“

“This is a great spot for a quiet coffee and catch up with friends. Great food and coffee selection. Lots space up stairs to do some work as well.Not a criticism but one thing to note for parents with young kids. There is window/bar style seating on the main level and the rest of the seating is upstairs. I had brought my newborn in her stroller. The staff was more than accommodating and I was able to fold up my compact stroller and tuck it out of the way. Larger strollers will have a tougher time navigating this space.“

“I'm from out of town and this was my first visit to Democracy, and I was really impressed. I had the Beyond Meat burger with a side of fries, and it was all very, very good. The service was excellent, and I thought the prices were perfectly reasonable. Locke Street is a great place to eat in Hamilton, with plenty of choice. It's not free parking, but on-street and plenty of it, all close by.I'm looking forward to my next visit, whenever that may be...“

“It's a great local business. The interiors are quaint and cosy, and feels like a village general store. The produce is fresh with lots of local and sustainable options. The staff at the little cafe are very friendly and the baked goodies are a must try. Tons of other knick knacks, beer, alcohol and gift items.I love their bulk soap and detergent options too.“

“Yesterday was my first experience and it exceeded my expectations. The staff is very friendly and always smiling and when I was asked if my espresso was for here it was given to me in a ceramic cup unlike the Burlington location. I was also given a tiny biscotti with it. Great atmosphere, can't believe it took me this long to discover this location“

“Our fav is their Half and Half. Tried a few flavours and all seem to be perfect. What we don’t like is the absurd self-made rule of stop serving milk shakes 15 mins before closing. Turned around two times now for being 2 mins late and the excuse that they just washed the blenders. They should honour the customer rather than giving these excuses. When your closing time is 10pm then you should be serving everything on the menu until that time or change your closing time to 9:45pm and ask your people to start washing blenders after that. Good food is one thing but having such an attitude towards customer destroys everything. The owner or whoever is making these rules should take notice“

“I came here last night with my boyfriend. We were walking around downtown hamilton and wanted to try out a new place and we came here because the menu looked incredible and also we were curious about the "rude staff" that other reviews claimed. The staff was soooo friendly and cute! Just be a good person and enjoy the food! They had great service, the atmosphere in the dining area was incredibly comfortable and the staff was helpful and patient. I wanted to try their Volcano ramen and two of their staff kept warning me that it was extremely spicy and when I got it, they did not lie LOOLL. If they claim something on their menu is spicy, they MEAN IT unlike other restaurants which disappoints you with mildly spicy food. Food was delicious, portions were great, and their milk teas had actual tea bags in them and it was good. They weren't busy so our food came quickly and they checked up on us a few times offering water. The restaurant also provides board games for customers and you can stay as long as you want to hang out. We stayed for 2 hours and it was amazing. We will definitely come back! “Decent service, attentive staff, and easily the best hot chocolate from any chain. Starbucks, Tims cannot handle a candle to Second Cup. I really wish there were more locations here in Hamilton! Their smoothies are also good too and they even put protein powder in one of the smoothies making it a good healthy choice. Their pasteries are also pretty good too and they have ones that no other cafe chain has as well, such as naniamo bars for example. Their location is central and right in the middle of the 1st floor, making it a convenient place to grab a drink and a bite before going and browsing and shopping around the rest of the mall.“

“Truly the best coffee I've tasted in Hamilton. Ordered the Bombon and my partner had the cappuccino. The server Luis was attentive, exceptionally kind and warm and the pastries (flakey, berry goodness) were served fresh from the oven. Will be returning!“

“Great place to get bubble tea or similar items with a huge selection of choices and combinations. Also has a pretty good selection of unique finger foods. Everything there is pretty reasonable price as well with the only downsides being it's take out only and they only take cash/e-transfer.“

“The staff at this Tim Hortons location are absolutely the best. They are very kind and take time to get to know their regulars. They go above and beyond every time I go in and they are frequently one of the best parts of my day/week. “Was in there fairly early today, well for me anyways. First time customer as I am never in the area but here for the Grey Cup festivities and was blown away by the store and service. I was not to sure what to get as I am typioiae to the slop that tim Hortons passes off as food. The girl behind the counter was patient, helpful and understanding. Not sure if her name but purpleish hair i believe. First time there and for sure not the last.“
