“I visited Manchu Wok at Canada's Wonderland. It's one of my favourite restaurants there, due to the fact that it's included in the season dining plan. The food is usually pretty fresh and tastes great. The service is pretty quick as well, unless they have a problem at the cash out.“

“Excellent buffet with a variety of choices for all tastes. As a meat lover, carnivore, that's what I hit with my sister and brother in law. This is my folks favorite place so far so that it's in my mom's will to have dinner for all the ones coming to her funeral, whenever that happens to be (hopefully not for a while yet) :)“

“The place is very clean and parking is easy.Food is normal and acceptable. The fried tofu and couple's lung slices are particularly delicious. The tofu is crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, juicy and delicious. Both husband and wife's beef slices are available, but this one tastes particularly fragrant. Maybe it's the effect of some chili oil, but it doesn't taste too bad when you eat it, and it doesn't make you feel greasy. The price is almost worth it. Two people ordered three rice noodles and a bowl of vermicelli and there was a big bag of skewers, which cost $75 including tips.Jenny's service attitude is so good.Place is decent and finding parking is relatively easy. The tofu and the fuqi feipian are the best among the dishes we ordered. Very fragrant and good texture. Prices are pretty reasonable as well. $75 all in for 2 people with plenty of food.“

“Beef and mutton skewers and potato slices, the cabbage skewers are particularly delicious and go well with rice. The sauce-flavored boiled pork slices are super friendly to people who don’t like spicy food! Beef and lamb kebabs and potato chip kebabs, cabbage kebabs are especially good and super filling, and the soy flavored boiled beef slices are super friendly to those who don't eat spicy food!“

“The food at this restaurant was absolutely delectable, reminiscent of the mouthwatering barbecues I've enjoyed in China. The ambiance was inviting, and the staff were courteous, although they seemed a bit stretched thin due to the busy crowd, resulting in slightly slower service.“

“The food is worth for the money. It comes with a drink which is a plus. But the BBQ tastes does confuse me a bit. It's not Chinese BBQ favour nor Taiwanese BBQ favour like other store. The portion is good. Not the best, but good for a try.“

“The skin is thin, the bottom is crispy, the meat is firm and juicy, and it is one of the best pan-fried dishes in Toronto. It’s also far better than Shanghai’s greasy Xiaoyang Shengjian. However, the pan-fried buns in this store are outstanding, and other foods need to be improved. The old duck soup is not good, and the garlic bones are not up to standard. The recently released pork ribs and rice cakes are not that good. The noodles with scallion oil should be liberalized, and the shepherd's purse wontons are okay. Can.“

“Found another gem to add to my list of favorite Chinese noodle spots in the GTA, and it's conveniently close to home. I was genuinely surprised by the texture of the noodles, perfectly chewy yet soft, a delightful characteristic that melded seamlessly with the high-quality soup base and toppings. The broth and use of spices are so well executed that I'd recommend it even to those new to Chinese noodles. I particularly enjoyed the beef tendon noodle, which I ended up trying after a suggestion to switch from my original chow mein order due to a super lengthy delay. The recommendation was spot on, and while I loved the soup noodles, the texture of the stir-fried noodles seemed even more appealing. Next time, I definitely plan to dive into their chow mein selections to experience more of their notably superior noodle texture.Vegetarian options: Limited vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: No gluten free options availableParking: Even that street parking fairly hard to findKid-friendliness: Kids may have to share the bowl with someone. “Great Friday night dinner at this cozy restaurant that combines Chinese BBQ dishes and relaxing vibe with 90’s songs playing in the background. The skewers are well seasoned and cooked. Service was quick and friendly. The owner also serves dishes and makes sure everything is going well. The scallops were really tasty. I also liked the skewers although I wish they came a little hotter and sizzling. The wiener we ordered came lukewarm in the center which was not so perfect. Haven’t had a chance to try their drinks but I’m interested in their beer sangria.Their recent shift away from the tipping system is a welcoming gesture. Despite the lack of tips, I find their service superior to other Chinese BBQ places that would penny pinch customers for tips. Keep it up, and you have my support. Will be back again.“

“I went to Poong Moon with my elderly Korean parents recently. Initially I wasn’t sure whether we made a right choice given how it looked more like a pub/bar instead of a Korean-Chinese restaurant. But don’t look that fool you. The food was outstanding. My parents and I enjoyed it very much. The service was also great as well even though they were really busy. It’s too bad that we live in Montreal otherwise we would be here a lot more often.“

“The taste of extremely authentic Northeastern cuisine can make it famous in a certain region even in China. I have ordered both dine-in and pick-up, and there is no difference in the quality of the food. This time I will talk about this fried eggplant dish. First of all, the eggplant is cut very thin, because eggplant is a very oil-absorbing ingredient, so it will not be so greasy. Secondly, the two pieces of eggplant are placed in a "V" shape, unlike the mainstream eggplant boxes. Place them parallelly so that there is enough space to stack the meat fillings, and the structure is more stable without losing its shape.Secondly, there is no starch in the meat filling, which makes the texture of the meat filling very firm; the seasoning of the meat filling also fully brings out the aroma of the meat, which is neither salty nor bland, and the aroma is overflowing. Finally, let’s talk about the small ingredients. I initially thought this small dry ingredient was ordinary chili noodles, but after tasting it, I found that it was a seasoned small ingredient. It has a salty taste, and the chili noodles are very fragrant. There are also some other seasonings. , coupled with the eggplant itself, which is rich in oil, it can perfectly relieve the greasiness. All in all, authentic Northeastern cuisine, the style is more like that of Jilin and Heilongjiang, mainly salty and fresh, and you can remember it for a while after eating it.“

“I didn't find anything special. Although I ordered the soup pot to be mildly spicy, it had no spice flavor at all, which didn't help to stimulate my appetite. The food was self-service; you just select it and then it's prepared in the kitchen before being added to the pot. I pretty much took a bit of everything except for the red meat, but none of them absorbed the flavor of the soup. The pork and chicken pieces were pan-fried, which tasted pretty good, but I didn't take much of those, so it wasn't enough to improve my overall impression.“

“A hidden gem in Mississauga I came across by accident. The restaurant had an offer on Skip the Dishes for free delivery over $30, a late night special. I checked out the reviews and decided to give them a try. Being a Guyanese girl myself, our standards for authentic Guyanese Chinese food is very high. And we tend to already have our usual go to spots for these dishes. But boy was I surprised and in luck! Just opening the fried rice box and the smell alone, I knew that I was in for a huge treat! The special fried rice is served with crispy fried chicken on top. It was exceptional and the chicken was juicy and tender inside and very crispy on the outside. I also ordered the pepper wings. They were very well seasoned, spicy and extra crispy. I was shocked that both dishes were still piping hot and super crispy despite my home being almost 15 minutes away from the restaurant. I also ordered a few shrimp rolls, that were also very crispy and delicious! If you’re looking for the real deal authentic Guyanese Chinese food in Mississauga, definitely check them out! I’m so happy I found this spot and will be back!“
“I had the pleasure of ordering food from Steve. I ordered a 1/2 tray of chicken and noodles. We got to talking about the reason for me needing this food last minute. My mom had just had a shoulder replacement and we were celebrating the success of the surgery. He was really diligent and sympathetic. I was amazed that i was able to order this food and it was ready in 15 minutes. I've been coming to this restaurant for more than 20 years and the food is as I remember it in high-schoolsl. If you choose a business to support, this one is family owned and delicious. My moms doing great! Thank you for making looking after her just that much easier.“

“I popped into this spot randomly and was tempted by their pork mooncakes. It was my first time trying them and they were so good! The pastry is flaky, sort of like an egg tart crust and they were generously filled with pork. It was nicely seasoned and tender. I actually ate them at home the day after I bought them. I followed the reheating instructions on the box and they came out perfect.I also got some of their frozen pork wontons to cook at home and they were great too! It reminds me of the ones my mom makes. Not sure if it was the owner, but the lady at the counter was so friendly and welcoming too.I will have to come back and try their baos and shumai!“

“Look at these GIANT noodle bowls!!! You can build and customize your own too; it's really fun to choose which noodles, meat, broth and toppings go into it! Completely personalized to your liking. If you haven't been to a malatang place before, you essentially grab the silver bowl and tongs and pick what you want. I like the wide and thin noodles but also wanted to try the ube ones today. Honestly the ube ones just taste like the normal rice noodles but prettier! Then choose which veggies you want. I like lotus root, bok choy, corn, and another one I don't remember the name of. It's green and usually comes in slices and is slightly translucent. Anyone know what I'm talking about??? As for meats, I get beef and fill up on fish balls. There's so many different types and shapes, many have filling in it too! Quail eggs are a must for me and I get lots of seafood (squid, mussels). I loveeee me some good tripe too. They'll charge you by weight ($3/100g) so be cognizant of that! The heavier the items and more food you get, the more expensive that is. But that means if you are strategic it can be quite cheap! Choose your broth and spice level and they'll make it for you. I highly recommend not going above "little spicy" unless you have gone before and know that you can tolerate it. Their spice levels are higher than other types of food places so proceed with CAUTION! It's the numbing spice so you won't feel it right away but it'll build, and next thing you know you are sweating (and maybe crying). I was honestly a little shocked how big my bowl were and intimidated when I realized there was no way I could finish it. They had fried durian balls and lava shrimp balls which I really wanted to try but weren't available. Fingers crossed they'll be there the next time I go“

“The milk tea is average, the frozen mandarin duck is better, the noodles are ok, and the Thai-style Hainanese chicken rice - the chicken tastes good and a little slippery, but the chicken rice is loose. The special price of noodles or rice snacks and hot and cold drinks is $15 + tax, which is reasonable. The food is served quickly, close to Hong Kong style speed.“

I haven’t eaten a dish I don’t like tbh. And I’m always stuffed when I leave! The atmosphere is inviting and welcoming. “Their barbecue pork is honestly my favorite out of all the places I have had barbecur pork at. I haven't been here in a few years but dropped by recently. Pleasantly surprised to find that their quality has not changed at all!I am not a fan of rice so I just order barbecue pork, and a side of their ginger green onion sauce to go. Typically, if I'm feeling like making a meal, I'll utilize those two items to make a delicious stir fried noodle dish but been feeling lazy recently so I've been using it for open faced sandwiches on sourdough ✨Oh! They do also have two sizes when it comes to their ginger green onion sauce, and the ladies do usually confirm with you which size you want before they charge you. They weigh the meat they chop up for you but I'll attach a photo of their pricing as or January 2024 for ease of referencing.“

“Came across this place while looking up new places to eat on Google Maps to decide what to eat for lunch.Ordered the spicy crispy chicken burger and some drinks (lemonade and the sour plum juice I think? Wanted to try it but forgot what it was called now). Food and drinks were good, price was reasonable. There were multiple delivery orders ahead of me but my order didn't seem to take very long, maybe about 10 mins. This restaurant only does takeout, there weren't any seats inside. The burger was big and very filling, pleasantly surprised. The burger is simple, well fried, delicious - doesn't get any better than that. The drinks really complements the chicken that is very crispy on the outside but also very tender and juicy on the inside. The pork items looked good too so I will come back again to try that“

“Good food and a few extra dim sum items that are not your usual items. Go and sit in the ballroom section as bigger area. Don't go at Chinese new year....all wait staff and servers makes a gross display of wedging in at the tables so they can get red packet with money. I understand if they are regular staff that know you but qe even had wait staff coming back twice for money. They stand at the tables and hang out waiting for the red pockets while you are eating. A big turn off when you are having a family gathering. Probably 2 out of 10 that come by are familiar to us. Quite disgusting. One staff came twice.“

“When diners at the next table start offering recommendations, you're off to a good start. I was looking for a lunch replacement and noticed some good Yelp ratings. I had to give it a shot. Much of the menu is Hong Kong style with a bit of Portuguese and Taiwanese. I didn't want to max out, so I just ordered Mapo Tofu with rice and a drink off the lunch specials. The dish was excellent, with a bit of heat and great flavor. Service was attentive, but the place is small. They seem to fill up and probably wish they had leased a bigger unit.
