“Although I have enjoyed this restaurant frequently for years I have now been diagnosed with IBS. So many restaurants can't accommodate my not being able to eat garlic. Tabule was very helpful and I was able to enjoy an great meal without garlic. I am very grateful. The food is always good and the service excellent.“

“This place is similar to the concept of a combination of a coffeehouse, tavern, and dining hall in Turkey. It’s like a blend of three different places, something I haven't even seen in Turkey. I liked it; the prices are reasonable. There are about thirty people inside, but no women at all.“

“Come here and support this local business! Got a beef shawarma for $15, came with a huge wrap that honestly you could split in half and have one for lunch and one for dinner. It came with a big bag of fries and a drink. Best part were the owners, I believe they are Turkish couple. They were very welcoming and kind.“

“I first came to this place more than 15 years ago and it was amazing..a hidden gem.., then it changed owners and they tried to make it more "upscale" but it was just more expensive and quality of the food dropped..it was still "ok" for a change once in a while.. . I have not visited Belle for years now as I moved out of Toronto and then the pandemic and yesterday while in Toronto we decided to order take out .....very very disappointed The prices don't match the quality of the food and when we picked up we just saw a bunch of teens playing videogames not really customer oriented. We had to wait longer for the order and the food was cold. The Lula kebab was burnt, the home fries (that was the signature master piece) were dried up, the chicken was tasteless... Poor quality, poor customer service and expensive. Will not come back or recommend again“

“I accompanied a friend who requires a wheelchair, and the museum and restaurant were fully accessible. All the doors are automatic, and the staff were so kind as to accompany us via a shortcut to the to the parking lot. The galleries were not at all crowded on a Tuesday afternoon, and the restaurant was moderately busy with excellent, attentive service.“

“This was my first visit to Genatsvale, and I have to say, I was impressed! The food was full of flavor, with a perfect combination of salt and spices that really brought the dishes to life. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were friendly and attentive.“

Rice was very flavourful, potatoes were dressed with some sort of garlic oil which made it heavenly, and both the chicken and falafel were one of the best I've tasted, especially compared to the more major chains. “I come to York Shawarma during my lunch break sometimes and always receive great customer service and great food. They are very generous with their portions in both the plates and the sandwiches. For these reasons I keep coming back to this place on my lunch breaks and I hope it doesn’t change!

Vegetarian options: The typical options plus cabbage and red cabbage. In other stores I usually don’t see those two options so glad they have them.

Parking: Not a huge lot but can fit at least 12 cars.

Kid-friendliness: I don’t see a reason for it not to be kid-friendly but its location is within an industrial zone.

Wheelchair accessibility: It’s accessible as long as the chair fits throughout the door. It’s a normal size door.“

“I got take out last night, rushing to eat before work (salad and chicken shawarma sandwich). It tasted odd... shortly after,, I called the location to tell them, something was off with the ingredients. I wasn't sure of it was the onions, turnips etc. something was left out too long perhaps... and today I am sick as a dog. I've eaten here before. I think they need better quality control on the food... especially being safely stored.. perhaps temperatures..etc“

“Love this place. I come by at least once or twice for lunch during the week. I really enjoy the poutine and think the portion size is perfect. Not sure if there's different staff on the weekend, but shoutout to the two girls working there during the week - they're both so friendly and have excellent customer service skills“

“I went to Anoush on Rimrock last week, I mentioned it was my birthday and they gave me a free Lentil Soup. The wraps are chockful of veggies and the chicken...they make a great Shwarma!

“Glad that we have an ali baba's in the area, the restaurant itself is very clean and well maintained and food is flavourful and fresh. My favourites are the chicken shawarma wrap and the falafel wrap, the have daily deals that are a great price!The staff are friendly and courteous, but when they get very busy and there is a line, the service and attention to hygiene get looked over. Multiple times that I have been there and it has been busy I noticed that they didn't take their gloves off when touching the checkout machine and money and resumed to serve others with the same gloves on.Also, when busy, they rush to get everyone's orders put together and ingredients that I said I didn't want were put into my wrap. I'd rather wait a little longer and get the right ingredients.I will definitely give them another chance and hopefully by then this issue is corrected!“

The Adana had that perfect smoky flavor with just the right amount of spice, and the chicken was juicy, well-seasoned, and tender. The sides complimented the meal nicely, making it a really satisfying experience. The service was also amazing—right as we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and even given lentil soup to try. Definitely worth coming back!“
