“This place has excellent quality food and friendly service. I ordered the chicken breast kebab dinner. The chicken is perfectly seasoned, juicy and tasty! The naan bread is soft and fluffy. In fact, I can eat it by itself. The Greek salad is so fresh and I love the dressing. I like their Greek salad better than those at Greek restaurants. Overall, I am just happy to have a quality restaurant near my home where I can go to get quality food anytime.“

“Wanna get full for $10 and have a quick nutritious meal? This is the spot to be. It's not the most mind-blowing shawarma I've had (they don't claim to be anyway), it truly is some of the best bang-for-your-buck food in the area with well-balanced portions that hit the spot.

The guy working the counter gave rockstar service. There were quite a handful of people including myself, yet he was able to get all of our food out in a timely manner considering he was the only employee- all with a smile on his face. He was also kind enough to go out of his way and grab me water without me asking. It was such a small but thoughtful gesture and I appreciate it a ton.

The chicken shawarma rice plate was well seasoned & portioned, you get 3 veggie toppings and a variety of sauces to choose from. A medium has 4oz of meat for $9.99, or you can get a large for 6oz of meat at $12.99.

I like that they have actual toum and not just shawarma yogurt sauce (although I got that on my food as well and it was delicious). They also offer weekly deals which are pretty cheap imo considering how expensive food is nowadays.

If you're looking for parking I'd look for a curb on Dawes rd and just walk on over. The shop is super tiny and only has two stools for seating so it's best for takeout.“

“This place was unexpectedly good. Me and my family just passed by for a quick bite from a long drive and this was in the same plaza as a TD bank. We had the chicken shawarma plate and it was tasty and fresh. The ladies behind the counter were also courteous and accomodating as they explained the promotions they had running so we got a great deal. I may not be able to come back as I live quite a ways away but I highly recommend this place.“

“I think it's safe by now to say that everyone has heard of the term that abs are made in the kitchen... I will add something to this by saying that it doesn't have to be in your kitchen at home or by eating bland and boring food! I had the opportunity today to pass by and visit my old friend Johnny at his shawarma restaurant on Kennedy Road not far off the 401... @johnnysshawarma is consistently ranked in the top handful of shawarma restaurants in the city and I can honestly say that I've never had better shawarma anywhere (not even when visiting Israel!)... And that says a lot considering with my middle eastern roots (my Dad was from Egypt) this is one of my favorite foods as it's delicious as it is nutritious especially when given the option to swap out the starchy carbs like the insanely good rice and potatoes with equally amazing salads and dips... Make sure to stop by and grab a bite if you are heading anywhere East of the DVP off the 401 and let them know Andre sent you 💪💪💪“

“I love this restaurant. The food is always tasty and they serve you a great portion. The quality is consistent which makes my family and I returning customers, possibly every week lol.
Just to put things into perspective, I’m writing this review eating a shawarma wrap I ordered about 2 hours ago. It still tastes delicious and fresh as it would’ve when I first bought it.
The employees are always friendly and follow instructions carefully.

“Came in close to closing time and they made me feel SO welcome — honestly deserves way more than 3.9 stars.
Walked in near closing, grills already being cleaned, and the guy still greeted me with a smile. Order came out fast and everything was incredibly fresh — I’m talking an hour later and it was still hitting hard.
The portions are generous, the sauces and fillings are more than enough, and the deals are real deals. I only got one and immediately regretted after having it not grabbing two — trust me, get the deal for 2, you WILL want that second one once you finish the first.
They even threw in a free can of drink just because they were happy I stopped by at closing. That kind of energy is rare. This place deserves all the love — don’t sleep on it!“

“Authentic , delicious Afghan food. Uzbqki palow was really good specially the meat! Mantoo was really good too!!. The food and service was really good , so it compensated for the atmosphere.
