“This place has excellent quality food and friendly service. I ordered the chicken breast kebab dinner. The chicken is perfectly seasoned, juicy and tasty! The naan bread is soft and fluffy. In fact, I can eat it by itself. The Greek salad is so fresh and I love the dressing. I like their Greek salad better than those at Greek restaurants. Overall, I am just happy to have a quality restaurant near my home where I can go to get quality food anytime.“

“I think it's safe by now to say that everyone has heard of the term that abs are made in the kitchen... I will add something to this by saying that it doesn't have to be in your kitchen at home or by eating bland and boring food! I had the opportunity today to pass by and visit my old friend Johnny at his shawarma restaurant on Kennedy Road not far off the 401... @johnnysshawarma is consistently ranked in the top handful of shawarma restaurants in the city and I can honestly say that I've never had better shawarma anywhere (not even when visiting Israel!)... And that says a lot considering with my middle eastern roots (my Dad was from Egypt) this is one of my favorite foods as it's delicious as it is nutritious especially when given the option to swap out the starchy carbs like the insanely good rice and potatoes with equally amazing salads and dips... Make sure to stop by and grab a bite if you are heading anywhere East of the DVP off the 401 and let them know Andre sent you 💪💪💪“

“Beautiful shawarma was made by Utsav definitely my fav employee, everything was amazing but I was feeling a lil feisty so I wished the shawarma had abit more spice to it. Next time I’ll ask him to put little extra spicy sauce even cuz I think it’s not that spicy. Nice guy nice atmosphere, sometimes weird guys walk in but they be trippin out n leave so ion know.“

“I ordered the shawarma plate with fries through DoorDash app. When I opened the container I was shocked at how much food they packed in there. They didn’t play with the portions at all. The sauces were slappin too. I can’t usually finish this amount of food but I couldn’t stop eating it cuz it was so good.

“Right now in this economy, it is really hard to find good food for a good price epesically if it is under $10. I tried the student deal with a chicken shawarma, fries and a drink. All of this was for $10. Every bite of the chicken shawarma was made to perfection. I put lettuce cucumbers peppers garlic sauce tahinis sauce and hot sauce. Fries were made perfectly: crispy, flaky golden fries. I would recommend to anyone even if you are not a student. Am definitely ordering food from here again!“

Sumaq is next door, my favourite shawarma spot but you pay $21.99 for one shawarma there. This place is good, I would recommend.“
