“Diner Seoul is a perfect place for those who enjoy Korean cuisine, but would like to try another take at it. You can tell that the chef tries different ideas and creates their version of the familiar dishes, and I think that deserves many stars for a city like Toronto where there aren't too many innovators. I'm hoping that they have interesting dishes for different seasons, for I'd like to see what ideas that the chef has.
The restaurant itself is a cute, small and cozy space with about 24 seats available. I visited with about 16 people and had a great time ?
I highly recommend this place for dates, the atmosphere is perfect for couples who would like to dine with a comforting vibe, interesting yet not-so-strange dishes and kind services.
Looking forward to visiting you again!“

“Such a cute Korean bbq spot! From the moment I walked in, service was on top of it with wait times and moving ready customers into a seat. Waiters do a great job explaining the process for new customers to the experience. Will definitely be coming back!“

“This was my first experience trying Naegmyeon through the Naengmyeon + Galbi combo. These two go together perfectly, the salty, flavorful Galbi with the refreshing Naengmyeon. The food was a grey price and would recommend to anyone in the area“

“"I recently visited The Fry, and I have to say, it's hands down the best fried chicken I've ever had! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The chicken itself was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside – you can tell it’s made with the freshest ingredients. The seasoning was spot on, giving the perfect balance of flavor without being too overpowering. I also tried their sides – the mashed potatoes were creamy, and the coleslaw was the perfect complement. Every bite was a delight! If you're craving top-quality fried chicken, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!"“

“I always come here for their deep fried chicken 🍗 So delicious in original and crazy good in their red sweet and spicy sauce (yangnyeom chicken). I love it!!!! It's so addictive and it's even better when there is a daily special or a deal happening (which is quite often) 😍😍😍 I like to get half and half and boneless.“

“We had the spicy pork bulgogi on a sizzling platter and seafood noodle soup and we are stuffffffffed. Also hot take but the california rolls are weirdly good. Cozy place too with a cute front room. Our server was very friendly and kind too. :)“

“The portions are large, so you can enjoy and share them with friends. Even though it’s fried, I was able to eat quite a bit. It’s crispy, and the meat is juicy. The radish side dish is a great palate cleanser!
It would be nice if there were rice as a side dish. Haha.“

“A message from a Taiwanese customer ❤️
Highly recommended 👍! This authentic Korean restaurant is near the gallery.
The staff and chefs are Korean, very friendly, and they thoughtfully check if the food suits your taste during the meal.
The restaurant has Wi-Fi, restrooms, and accepts both cash and credit cards (cash is preferred 👍).
I ordered pork with bones, and the portion was much bigger than I expected! When it came, it looked like a small mountain 🤣. It was almost too much for one person to finish, but it was super tasty and satisfying.
Even though I’ve had similar dishes in Korea, I feel like this place tastes even better!“

“Out of this world. Probably the best Korean food I've ever had. Korean restaurants in Koreatown can be a bit hit and miss and Damda is definitely a hit. Delicious dumplings and an amazing seafood pancake. Huge portions and amazing flavours. A real home run. Highly recommended.“

“Staff was very friendly, food was fresh and delicious and very filling. Compared to Egg Club it was more crispy / well toasted, and since this had corn in the egg mixture, it was a
bit sweeter in flavour. I had the double cheese bacon toast and it was not lacking in either component. Bacon was crisp, cheese was ample and well melted
I'm not saying one is better than the other since they're both delicious egg in bread establishments. Just an observation.
Will be back to try more of the menu“

“Really healthy alternative for eating out. It’s a small, cute, specialized bibimbap shop in downtown Toronto. The vegetables are really fresh and if you dine in, they are served on hot stone plates, which would really enhance the experience. The rice is purple rice, and the dish tastes okay overall. The place is a little dark and can be crowded during meal times. It comes with a miso soup. The portion is quite small and the sauce is lacking a little flavor for my tastebuds. But it tastes healthy so that’s a plus!“

“Located in the Alton Tower plaza in Scarborough, Dangol is a great place if you want to have Korean hot pot and noodle soups.
In addition to hot pot, they do have Korean fried chicken for those who opt out for soups.
Their service is friendly and efficient.
We took a shareable hotpot $45 Yukgaejang (Korea spicy beef, with vegetables) this dish is served with two bowls of purple rice and along with the usual Korean side dishes that comes with it.“

“As Korean, I can say this place is the best korean restaurant in downtown. Their soft tofu stew especially reminds me of my mom’s cooking! Honestly, it is pretty damn hard to pick my favourite one here so just try everything and decide on your own :) Take escalator down to the underground floor of aura building and follow the food court sign!“

“Really enjoyed the food here. We popped in because we were trying to find a Korean restaurant in the area that was open a bit later. We found this place and really enjoyed their pork bone soup with noodles! The pankcakes had a bit more green onions than we'd like, but we overall enjoyed the food and would come back. I saw they have another location closer to Scarborough, so hopefully that location will have food that's just as good.“

“Love this place! The tteokbokki is our favorite! Affordable and plentyy! We’ve going back for it over and over again for the past year and a half. The portion is so big, and despite me eating a lottt in general, this one fills me up easily. Service can be a little slow at times but they do get really busy there so I get it. Also, the unlimited side dishes are greattt too! I love the pickled radish and the glass noodles!“

“A tiny place selling light Korean food and sides. They cook and prep food right behind the counter so you get to see everything and also the smell is very like home kitchen. Food was not that processed and not flavored that much which was great for me. Also got their kimchis in fridge and enjoyed it! Wanna some Korean homemade sides? Here is the place.“

“Tasty food. Small meat serving on the spicy beef tongue. The kimchi soup was fantastic. The 4% makgeoli comes in many flavours and tastes fantastic. Only item I wasn't crazy about was the cheese seasoned fried chicken. Note a lot of items are a bit pricy, but I had a great time.
Service was friendly, enthusiastic, while not intrusive (glad there weren't upsells).
High energy environment, has booth seats for moderate privacy, and the lighting is easy on the eyes.“

“On the 80th day of traveling around the world, I wanted to eat Jjolmyeon, so I searched for it and never thought I would meet in Toronto... To be honest, I wasn't expecting much (I thought the noodles might be noodle noodles or udon noodles), but the noodles, the taste of red pepper paste, and just the taste of Jjolmyeon that you get in Korea!!!!! Bibimbap too!!! I haven't tried the other menu items, but they all seem delicious ㅠㅠ It's just a place that Koreans must eat at all times haha I think I can clearly tell foreigners that this is K-food haha To be honest, I don't often see places that serve such delicious Korean food ㅠㅠ (I mainly eat Korean food while traveling around the world) I recommend Amutta (the authentic Korean taste that only eats)!!! There are about 4 places to sit and eat in the store, and flavored kimchi is sold separately for about 7 Canadian dollars. Also, there was a cone snack that I like, so I bought it haha.“

“The owner was super nice and the food was great! I recommend the half and half for any people that haven’t had a Korean corn dog. (That’s half cheese and half hotdog). This place has many options to choose from with coatings and toppings, all are good, but the standard or the potato coatings with spicy mayo is my favorite.“

“This is by far the cheapest eats I've ever seen in this economy. It's no wonder it's so popular. Came on a Saturday evening around 5 and wasn't too busy. I shared an army stew and seafood pancake with a friend. Eating both dishes was EXTREMELY filling. Army stew was good, especially for only $25?!? Pancake was okay, it seemed a bit under. Each person paid about $23 including tax and tip, so not bad. Sides are pretty small but service was lacking a bit (not the most patient and friendly). I would still come again to try other dishes.“

“I went there on Sunday evening. We waited about 15 minutes in line before entering, but the service was quick after ordering. The kimchi served as a starter was fresh and absolutely delicious.
I had the classic KalGukSu and kimchi dumplings! The noodles were firm, just the way I like them, and the soup had a gentle, flavorful broth that I really enjoyed. The six-piece kimchi dumplings were large and perfect for sharing between two people—very filling!
I’ll definitely visit again!“

“Casual Korean restaurant with traditional dishes.
It was pretty quiet on Christmas evening, but service was lacking and slow.
We got the hot pot gamjatang (pork bone and potato soup) and kampungki (fried boneless chicken with sweet and sour sauce). This was a good portion for 4 people, both were so delicious. The gamjatang came with two bowls of purple rice. My only complaint was the side dishes were very mediocre/small and it took a long time to refill them.
Overall it's a solid, affordable choice.“

“I absolutely love this place. I try to get some at least once a week. I personally prefer the galbi and the sausage, but the chicken is great too. I’m a sucker for meat and macaroni salad, and they hit both of those for me. Also, having some Korean side dishes along with the meal really makes the experience great.“

“I really love the pork bone soup here. It's hot and delicious. The meat falls off the bones, the soup is temperature hot and you can adjust the spiciness to be mild, hot or spicy. I chose mild and wasn't too spicy and I can't really handle spiciness. So this was perfect for me. Even when I just drank the soup. The pork bone soup is served with a bowl of rice which is perfect serving for the meal. The whole meal is pretty filling for me and lovelove this as I have been looking for pork bone soup everywhere but everywhere is wayyyy too spicy. The only thing is that the soup has no veggies and only meat. Would be nice to have some veggies in it. Well I do remember now there was a potato but it wasn't that good. The meal was a little overpriced but I mean everything costs so much these days.
My friend had the bulgolgi rice and she loved it too.
Will definitely be back in the winter for more pork bone soup.“
