“Diner Seoul is a perfect place for those who enjoy Korean cuisine, but would like to try another take at it. You can tell that the chef tries different ideas and creates their version of the familiar dishes, and I think that deserves many stars for a city like Toronto where there aren't too many innovators. I'm hoping that they have interesting dishes for different seasons, for I'd like to see what ideas that the chef has.
The restaurant itself is a cute, small and cozy space with about 24 seats available. I visited with about 16 people and had a great time ?
I highly recommend this place for dates, the atmosphere is perfect for couples who would like to dine with a comforting vibe, interesting yet not-so-strange dishes and kind services.
Looking forward to visiting you again!“

“One of my comfort spots in the city. Warm service, endless side dishes, and generous portions of very tasty food at decent prices, all in a tucked away spot? Count me in.
Recommended. Try the Bulgogi Jungsik, or the Spicy Daejijjim ❤️“

“This is a amazing spot.
Foods are sweet mostly, kept forget serving a few items after you asked it
But I still give 5 star, because great value dine-in compare to the so cheap price and quality of meats !!!
Furthermore so detailed and nastalgia interior of about 1970-1980 in Korea.
I absolutely want to come back“

“If you're near Lansdowne Station in Toronto, don't miss this cozy gem right by the subway exit! The moment you walk in, the charming decor and warm ambiance instantly make you feel at home. It’s my spot whenever I’m feeling stressed or just need a comforting meal, and it never disappoints.
I’ve tried almost everything on the menu, and each dish is thoughtfully prepared and topped with their signature house-made sauces. My personal favorite is the Don Katsu crispy, tender, and bursting with flavor every single time. I was just there again today, and as always, it hit the spot.
The prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes, and the food is consistently satisfying. What makes this place even more special is the people who run it that they’re genuinely kind, welcoming, and always smiling. It truly feels like my “fourth place” outside of home and work.
If you're looking for a spot that combines great food, comforting vibes, and heartfelt service, this is it. A hidden gem in Toronto that’s absolutely worth discovering!“

“Staff was very friendly, food was fresh and delicious and very filling. Compared to Egg Club it was more crispy / well toasted, and since this had corn in the egg mixture, it was a
bit sweeter in flavour. I had the double cheese bacon toast and it was not lacking in either component. Bacon was crisp, cheese was ample and well melted
I'm not saying one is better than the other since they're both delicious egg in bread establishments. Just an observation.
Will be back to try more of the menu“

“Genuinely, this is probably the best place to get Korean food in Toronto and one of the best restaurants in Toronto (I feel strongly!). The food tastes like REAL food and I truly believe I could eat it every day and feel great. The owner is so sweet and always remembers us and gives us new things to try. The best....simply the best! Thank you thank you!“

“Really impressed by how juicy and tender the inside of the fried chicken was. I got the takeout menu that's a lot cheaper than the sit-in menu (just ~$21 for medium vs. ~$28 for small). I know it's takeout because the waitress brought the food to me in a takeout box and not on a plate and took away the cutlery. But I finished the food at the restaurant without problems. Music was too loud but tolerable“
“One of the best korean traditional and fusion food. Proud to be korean ♡♡ 꺅 <3“
“The food was perfect! I ordered the Cream Udon and Cheese Kimbap - starting off with the Cream Udon, it was slightly thick and creamy followed by a hint of spice and sweetness so it wasn’t too heavy. The udon was also cooked perfectly! The cheese Kimbap was great as well - perfect kick of spice and was wrapped well! Love the environment of the place and service was kind!
Will be coming again!“

“Super cozy and chill spot for drinks and small bites with friends! The atmosphere is great and the server and owner were so kind. It was a great stop after dinner at a nearby restaurant, giving a chance for the night to continue with more drinks and food. Will definitely be back again to try some of the other drinks (super extensive cocktail menu) and food (lots of interesting korean fusion options!)“

“The ambiance here is nice. They have slightly different grills here in comparison to other locations.
We got the all you can eat dinner. A classic that never disappoints.
They have black pepper beef which is super yummy. The cucumber salad is also amazing. 10/10 recommend.“

“It was somewhat difficult to find the entrance to the food court, but it was well worth the detour!
We got the classic 김밥 and 순두부찌개. The 김밥 was really authentic and had a lot of filling!! 순두부찌개 was also good, fairly spicy but not too much, although we felt it was a bit more peppery than usual.
The man and woman (couple?) were so friendly and nice. The man gave us some recommendations and even asked us how it was when he passed by later.“

“My family visits Dan Gol often and we’d say this is our favourite Korean restaurant. We have tried various dishes including the bibimbap, Katsu, gamjatang, jajangmyeon, cold noodles, sundubu jjigae and dumpling/rice cake soup. All the dishes are made well and are very flavourful and taste authentic. There are refills on side dishes and when we came the other day, they gave our family a plate of fried gyoza.
The prices here are comparable to many other Korean restaurants and they have a lot of variety on the menu. We will definitely continue coming here.“

“Tried the bulgogi today and I enjoyed it very much. It was delicious, just to my taste.
There was a great amount of beef, and the other items such as dumplings and spring rolls and spiced cabbage really added to the meal. It wasn't just a layer of beef over a mound of rice.
The portion was more than enough for one meal as I'm a large guy and I just barely finished it and felt stuffed.
Great meal, and at a reduced price on Wednesdays!
The only downside is that it's a service window (tiny shop) directly onto the sidewalk on a busy, noisy street and this can be a bit unpleasant in bad weather. Service is quick if there's no line, so that helps. If you're looking for a place to sit and eat nearby, you're out of luck. There really isn't any good place available. This isn't the owner's fault in any way. It's just the area.“

“I’ve been to Mapo Gamjatang many times, and it continues to be one of my top spots for gamjatang. They offer several variations of the dish, and no matter which one I order, the broth is always rich and flavorful, and the meat is so tender it practically falls off the bone. They are also generous with the portions, the staff are friendly, and the service is quick. I highly recommend coming here!“

“Love this place! The tteokbokki is our favorite! Affordable and plentyy! We’ve going back for it over and over again for the past year and a half. The portion is so big, and despite me eating a lottt in general, this one fills me up easily. Service can be a little slow at times but they do get really busy there so I get it. Also, the unlimited side dishes are greattt too! I love the pickled radish and the glass noodles!“

“Visited during the recent Koreatown BIA Festival as another one of the promoted stores during the festival. The Manna is a simple takeout spot for Korean street food in the area and also family-operated, offering a number of popular Korean takeout food and Korean side dishes made to order.
Staff were very friendly in helping to guide items that they had available for order, including any specials they had just for the event. Their japchae was one of the specials offered to visitors to the festival where it was quickly prepared and was overall decent. Given reviews recommending their gimbap, it's probably another recommended item to get as well“

“Excellent, well-priced korean grill spot. Great, fantastic nostalgic Korean atmosphere and truly amazing service. Side dishes are all fantastic. The pork that was ordered was a bit tough however and quality was a tad poor. Other than that, truly an amazing spot. Loved the complimentary Korean yogurt at the end, it was a nice touch. “Outstanding Korean Corn Dogs – A Must-Try!
I had a fantastic experience trying these Korean corn dogs. The staff member preparing them was exceptionally friendly and patient, which added to the overall enjoyment.
They offer a wide variety of delicious toppings and condiments, making it easy to customize your order. I chose the original corn dog with Hot Cheetos and spicy mayo — a perfect combination of crunch, heat, and flavor. One of my daughters also went with the original and absolutely loved it, while my other daughter opted for the takoyaki, which she thoroughly enjoyed.
The quality, flavor, and service were all top-notch. Highly recommend for anyone craving a fun and flavorful street food experience!“

“It’s a modern Korean bar/restaurant with flair—stylish décor, moody lighting, friendly staff, and a vibe that’s both energetic and chill. Perfect place whether you’re out for drinks, sharing plates, or celebrating something small.
One of my favourite dishes is the soy‑marinated crab. They do this raw marinated crab that really hits — sweet, savoury, with that intense umami that makes you want rice to scoop it up (which I always end up ordering). The texture is delicate and slightly jiggly, beautifully balanced by the marinade. They also have a spicy version which is a nice kick if you like heat. The crab is one of those dishes that shines here—simple in concept, bold in execution.
One thing I really appreciate is that Comma is dog friendly. I’ve brought my pup with me before (when weather permits or on the patio), and the place is welcoming—no weird looks, staff are kind, and you don’t feel like you’re imposing. It makes it easy to include your four‑legged friend in a night out.
If you want food with punch, some shareable dishes that surprise, and a restaurant that doesn’t feel stiff, Comma is a great choice. Definitely a go‑to for me when I’m craving something Korean but with modern, creative twists.“

“First came here three years ago, right after we moved to Toronto, and this little Korean spot instantly felt like home. (Disclosure: we’re not Korean—but good East Asian food has a way of bridging that distance.)
Our go-tos are the glass noodles, bibimbap, and fried rice cakes—each one authentic, flavorful, and comforting. The glass noodles are never soggy, always perfectly seasoned; the bibimbap is a wholesome mix of veggies, protein, and multigrain rice that leaves you feeling satisfied, not heavy.
The space is tiny, with only 3–4 seats, so sometimes we dine in if luck’s on our side. Prices are fair (way better than your average food court meal), no tipping required, and the taste keeps us coming back.“

“I love Shaker’s Club. The vibe and aesthetic are always on point. Classic tiny Toronto bar with good food, good music, great cocktails and overall good vibes. Went in recently with some girlfriends for cocktails after not being here for about a year, and it continues to keep the same energy. They’re also sister stores to Hanmoto and Seoul Shakers, two of my favourite restaurants in Toronto.“

“This is a super super cheap Korean restaurant in downtown (Korea town specifically). The space was quite small, we are a big group (6 people) and have to wait for quite a long time. The restaurant is really packed, and sometimes there’s line up outside (like us). Inside, The space was really cozy and chill. It’s a little small, I always bump into someone when I move in and out of my seat. The price of this space is really really cheap, especially with that quality, it’s a 100/10! The chicken was crispy, well marinated, juicy and super tasty! The tobokki one is really good I tried it so many times and still loved it. Also, the portion is big so we can share among the group. Even the service takes quite a longer time than typically, I saw only one staff running cashier, front, serve the food so that’s acceptable and actually doesn’t really affect our experience!“

“I was craving some katsu and rice, so I randomly stumbled upon this place, and I see why it's so highly rated now. I got the combo pork katsu set which has two pieces of pork, and half signature katsu sauce and half creamy sauce, and also came with rice, corn and cabbage salad. The SERVINGS were diabolically generous like holyymoly wow. I was pretty hungry too, but I think I managed to get through about 60%. It was delicious though, and I really wanted to keep stuffing my face but my stomach was going to explode. The pork was so crispy! And the sauce was well balanced, the katsu sauce and the creamy sauce worked well together actually! I enjoyed each bite with both sauces together, but on their own, it was also nice too. Recommend coming here! Make sure your ready to EAT“
