“Such an amazing dinner spot! My parents have been coming here as their spot for YEARS. And it is because of how amazing the food and service is here. Personally I LOVE steak and spicy Caesar’s, which they made both perfectly. I also had the Zee Salad which was amazing — essentially it is a ceasar salad wrapped with a thin baked potato…delicious! Technically it is a seafood spot, which is the best place to get it in city, but also perfect for steak lovers. Highly recommend for a date night spot or dinner with family!“

Everyone was very attentive and Tommy even took the time to give us some advice regarding visiting Greece! The entertainment was the topper and a lovely finish to a wonderful time! “(Nov 9, 830pm) - Stopped in to Luma by accident while looking for somewhere for a late dinner and what a pleasant surprise!

Our server Dhyey was an absolute doll, he was attentive, had great recommendations and so much personality - he was the perfect mix of polite and professional, but with the right amount of gentle ribbing/sassiness that was a delight!

We ordered a few cocktails, bottle of wine and a couple appys as well as our mains. Everything was delicious, although the pasta I ordered was just not hitting as I wanted, and when he came to check on us we said everything was great (and 99% of it was!!) but he could tell I didn't love my dish and insisted on having the kitchen make me something else. I really hate sending food back, but Dhyey was so insistent on making it right, which I really appreciated.

We were stuffed and weren't going to have dessert, but he brought out a surprise creme brulee (my absolute dessert weakness) with a "Congratulations" spelled out in chocolate as we'd mentioned we were celebrating our recent elopement with a friend that evening.

Overall it was a top-class meal, and we had the best server experience - thanks Luma & Dhyey!“

“So old school dining. The Swiss chalet of seafood 😁 Place has been there for long time. Plenty of room. Easy access from street or atrium (which means it’s on the PATH). Friendly staff and very efficient service. Food is ok, it’s fresh and fast. Nice to get warm biscuits. Had the fish and chips. Fries were over seasoned for my taste (will ask for light or no seasoning next time) but the fish and coleslaw were great. A classic place to stop for a quick bite.“

“I've been to Yu Seafood Yorkdale several times. An upscaled restaurant near all the high-end retailers. I bought my nephew here during his business trip and everything is good, and the bill was paid without going through the details. Not until I got home and found out one of the dishes was missed out from the dinner set for six. I called the restaurant the next day and the general manager Neilson responded promptly. It could be a human error and promised to compensate on my next visit. Having said that Yu is a great place to enjoy dinner or lunch despite of the mistake they have made on my last visit.“

“I have reviewed a lot of restaurants and rarely give 5 stars, but this evening was special. First, the steaks were excellent...tender and cooked to perfection. The sides were tasty too. Second, the venue is pleasant, relaxing and not too loud...so you can carry on a conversation. Third, the service was over the top. Our waitress, Kimberly, went out of her way to make certain everything was perfect. She was one of a kind. The cost can perhaps limit visits to very special occasions. However, it was worth every penny and we will be back.“
