Two glasses of super tasty French Chablis followed up by Haddock tacos and the Blackened haddock burger. delicious fries to compliment the dish. “I recently visited Red Lobster in Toronto, and being from Newfoundland, I’ll admit my expectations for seafood are always high – but I was not disappointed! Every dish tasted fresh and flavorful, with that comforting touch you hope for when you’re away from home.

For some reason, it honestly felt like the menu was designed just for me. From the variety of seafood options to the classic sides, everything hit the spot perfectly. The service was friendly and welcoming, which only added to the experience.

“Food was excellent. The service was also very good at the start - in fact the staff were almost too attentive - it felt like we were being asked about our food every 5 minutes. Alas after we had finished our mains we waited over 20 minutes before we were able to flag down somebody to take our dessert order. The end of our meal ended up being quite rushed after a very relaxing start.“

“What a charming and cozy spot. Each dish is beautifully designed. We had a pizza that was light and crispy and the salsicchia and gnocchi were unbelievable. The open kitchen really adds to the environment as well, it is fun to see and hear everything that goes on that is usually behind the scenes.“

“I've been to Yu Seafood Yorkdale several times. An upscaled restaurant near all the high-end retailers. I bought my nephew here during his business trip and everything is good, and the bill was paid without going through the details. Not until I got home and found out one of the dishes was missed out from the dinner set for six. I called the restaurant the next day and the general manager Neilson responded promptly. It could be a human error and promised to compensate on my next visit. Having said that Yu is a great place to enjoy dinner or lunch despite of the mistake they have made on my last visit.“

“Gabby’s – Guildwood Village Shopping Centre Four of us visited Gabby’s in the Guildwood Village Shopping Centre yesterday for lunch. The restaurant opened last year, and this was our first time there. After seeing so many great reviews online, we decided to check it out. We were greeted right away and seated where we preferred. Our server, Sarah, was wonderful—friendly, attentive, and helpful in guiding us with our drink choices. Between the four of us, we ordered: Chicken wings with fries Onion rings Garlic bread Buffalo chicken wrap with fries Braised beef stone-fired pizza Everyone agreed the food was excellent. I had the pizza, and it was sensational—the beef was tender and perfectly portioned, pairing beautifully with the onions and mushrooms. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, whether you’re enjoying a meal on the patio, dining indoors, or sitting at the bar surrounded by plenty of TVs. Service was impeccable. The washrooms were very clean, though they are located in the basement. If you’ve had a few drinks, you might prefer the accessible washroom on the main floor, as the stairs are steep. We all agreed we will definitely be back—there are so many other tempting menu items we want to try. The amazing service we received from Sarah made the experience even more enjoyable. “The steak was delicious. The extra hot plates ensure every bite was warm. We did a half order of mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, and broccolini and that was enough for two people. Our server was very attentive so we enjoyed our meal. For dessert we tried cheesecake (excellent) and carrot cake (good but very sweet). Overall, a great experience.“

Unfortunately even if you order to eat in, they serve you in a disposable container, so there's no way to eat here and avoid creating garbage. This was disappointing to me since I always eat in to avoid this problem. It creates a lot of avoidable waste.“
