“I had such a wonderful experience at Starbucks recently and wanted to express my gratitude. The service was amazing from the moment I walked in—everyone was kind, attentive, and welcoming. After ordering my tea, I stepped back to wait, and by accident my backpack brushed against a mug that fell and broke. “This location is near my workplace, so I've been visiting regularly for some time now. The warm exchanges and friendly service from team members is quite often the best part of my day.I have no idea how they're able to remember so many details on their regulars. “Stanley, Ahad, Olive, Julia, & all the other baristas that work at this location make it so warm & inviting, & truly make you feel welcomed & at home when you're here.

Parking: Street (paid) parking nearby, on both College & Bathurst, plus a "rate-per-hour" parking lot on the opposite (Southwest) corner from this Starbucks.

Kid-friendliness: All the staff (baristas) here are great with kids of all ages (less than a year, all the way up to 100+ years of age! ? )

Wheelchair accessibility: There's a wheelchair accessible ramp & door for those that cannot use the stairs.“

“Always a great place to grab a quick java, gab , pick up a gift or replenish your home stash. It's always great but merch is wayyy overpriced. Coffee can be pricey depending on your fickleness lol. “I should preface this by saying I’ve worked for Starbucks for 15 years, so whenever I’m somewhere new, I try to visit a different location just to see how they do things. Having already stopped at Pablo’s and the nearest Tim Horton’s, I decided to drop into the Starbucks at Don Mills to see how it measured up.

Right off the bat, I noticed that Starbucks has the most interior room of the three. That said, it’s not really fair to compare them directly—each spot offers a different experience. The larger space here does come with a downside, though: more room means more guests, so it was a bit hectic when I visited. Still, nothing that would have stopped me from bringing my laptop and getting some work done if that had been the plan.

The staff were extremely nice, and my barista struck up a conversation about travel and other things, which was a nice touch. Even as someone who works for the company, I know not every Starbucks gets your drink right, but I could tell my barista made mine with care—and it was delicious.

Overall, a solid experience, and I’ll definitely be back to say hi and grab another drink the next time I’m in the area.“

“I stop in here regularly on the way to pick my daughter up from school. Every day, everyone is in a great mood, the music is good, they’re so friendly. I don’t know if this is something that they have to do, but my daughter wanted an iced water, the lovely person behind the counter treated her as a true customer, with a smile, and made her feel amazing that she’d placed an order all by herself. Even though it was just water, they called out her name, thanked her for coming etc. it made her day. And boosted her confidence so much! The staff here are honestly the best!“

“For those in the Beaches region, StarBucks is a great option for a quick meal.In the summer they have a table and chairs in the outdoor area, with an accessible entrance and automatic door on the avenue, and an exit on the side, also with an automatic door.Bathroom has grab bars, toilets and sinks adapted for disabled guests and automatic door. For those with babies, the store has a changing table.The store is usually quiet on normal days, but on parade days it is usually very busy, but with the fastest possible service (don't argue with the attendants, they always do their best).The store is always clean and organized. And the souvenir shelf always has an item that isn't available in the downtown stores.The store is located on the sidewalk of bus stops, so access is quick to various areas of the center.

Parking: There is paid parking on Joseph Street, and there are also some paid parking lots in the region!

“To the loveliest of lovelies at the Midland & Ellesmere Starbucks - I came to you today with my oldest of old girl Hurley (aka Pig) for her last Puppaccinno and her first ever Raccoon Cake Pop. Not only did they pUpsize her Puppaccinno, and give her THREE Raccoon Cake Pops (at no cost ?), all the workers came to the window and gave Hurley the best little send off. They get to know your order and that gives a very welcoming feeling.Downside - because they closed the Grenview location on Bloor St, this location (Thompson) can get very very busy and parking is not good at all. It can be very hectic finding a spot and long wait times. While school is in, the lunch hour (11:30am -1pm.approx) and end of school day (2:30pm -3:30pm) fills with high-school students. Very packed. Beware of not paying the parking meter. I ran in to grab a coffee and came out to a $30 parking ticket. They ticket often.Starbucks should consider re opening the old Grenview location or another one close by again.“

I came to this location to study and I’ve noticed that they walk around periodically to ask customers if they’d like any water, if the plugs are working, and if we’re doing ok; they even offered to refill my water bottle! I also noticed that they clean the washrooms and entrance area after every busy rush.

This location is colder and they tend to play louder pop music, so it may not be ideal to study at. However, the employees are so hard working and do a great job at making sure their customers are satisfied and taken care of.“

“I just wanted to leave a review - this morning I ordered an iced coffee with almond milk. When I picked it up - I notice the milk had separated in the coffee. Not knowing if this was normal - I asked the baristas. They made me a new coffee and explained. After googling - almond milk CAN curdle in acidic coffee. So - I wanted to apologize and thank you for the extra effort/work. THANK YOU!!!“

“I have been going to multiple starbucks near the area, but i would say, these people makes the best drinks, since i was also a barista for almost 2 years at starbucks, its hard for me to be satisfied with the drinks if i place order, but they made exactly what i like and they are sooo welcoming and nice too🫶🏻

We stopped at this Starbucks for a quick bite and a washroom break, and we were impressed by how clean the location was. The staff were professional and approachable, making for a pleasant visit. I also noticed they had a great selection of tumblers, though I passed since I already have one.

One nice touch is that they’re currently collecting hygiene products to support the Gerstein Crisis Centre. If you’d like to contribute, there’s a basket near the checkout where you can drop off your items.

We ordered two Double-Smoked Bacon, Cheddar & Egg Sandwiches, which were nicely presented and tasted delicious. Since the inside seating was full, we sat outside, and I appreciated that the outdoor tables were kept clean. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely visit again!

Parking: There is free parking on the street in the residential area, but you can also do paid parking in the main street“

“How can I say it? Good food (actually good coffee and milk) and good Wifi. The overall experience is not bad. But it's a little interesting of the service.
1, Even you are lining there to wait for order, the waiters prefer to service a remote order first, even the picker hasn't come.
2, Sometimes even you are lining and there are two POSs and a few waiters, they don't like to open an idle POS to serve you, but just use one POS and let you wait.“

“Friendly Staff; Quick Service; Nice Shop; The only negative side is: there are many people (at least 7 out of 10) sitting there for hours on their laptops (some of them spreading their stuff over the table and seats, occupying more than one seat and table), so if you want to go for coffee, what's coffee shops are for at the first place, you will have difficulties in finding seats/tables.“

“Open-concept Starbucks in the plaza underneath the Metro grocery store. Staff were friendly and fast. If you want to sit at a table, I recommend wiping down the table first. The area gets a lot of traffic and Starbucks is not responsible for them.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance with power doors and an elevator to get to the Metro grocery store. The tables are a suitable height people in mobility devices.“
