“I had such a wonderful experience at Starbucks recently and wanted to express my gratitude. The service was amazing from the moment I walked in—everyone was kind, attentive, and welcoming. After ordering my tea, I stepped back to wait, and by accident my backpack brushed against a mug that fell and broke. I immediately felt so embarrassed, but the team was incredibly graceful and caring about the situation. Instead of making me feel bad, they reassured me with kindness, and it truly reminded me that there is so much love and compassion in the world.

To top it all off, my tea was absolutely delicious—exactly what I needed. Thank you to the wonderful staff for turning what could have been a stressful moment into one filled with warmth and humanity.“

“Not a bad place to meet up. Their drinks are great and I like how it's located nicely in a busy place so it's great to meet up here on the run. The only thing I felt was lacking were seatings. Their seats need to be updated. The chairs and desks need to be set up better I didn't like how they got a small couch with a chair and a tiny low table it looked misfit and awkward. And the other seats were very old and just doesn't go with the vibe of Starbucks.“

“I had such a great experience at the Starbucks at Shops at Don Mills! The store was clean, well organized, and had a really welcoming vibe. The staff were friendly and efficient, and my drink was made perfectly.

I especially want to shout out the manager, Seth — he was incredibly professional, kind, and clearly cares about both the customers and the team. You can really tell when a place is well-run, and this location definitely is. Seth made sure everything was running smoothly and made the experience even better.

“Stanley, Ahad, Olive, Julia, & all the other baristas that work at this location make it so warm & inviting, & truly make you feel welcomed & at home when you're here.

Parking: Street (paid) parking nearby, on both College & Bathurst, plus a "rate-per-hour" parking lot on the opposite (Southwest) corner from this Starbucks.

Kid-friendliness: All the staff (baristas) here are great with kids of all ages (less than a year, all the way up to 100+ years of age! ? )

Wheelchair accessibility: There's a wheelchair accessible ramp & door for those that cannot use the stairs.“

“The team at 2e Spadina Avenue made me feel so welcome and my custom valued during my two three week holidays in Toronto.
They quickly remembered my name and my order (U.K. Cappuccinos have an extra shot) .

“I stop in here regularly on the way to pick my daughter up from school. Every day, everyone is in a great mood, the music is good, they’re so friendly. I don’t know if this is something that they have to do, but my daughter wanted an iced water, the lovely person behind the counter treated her as a true customer, with a smile, and made her feel amazing that she’d placed an order all by herself. Even though it was just water, they called out her name, thanked her for coming etc. it made her day. And boosted her confidence so much! The staff here are honestly the best!“

There is a younger gentleman with short hair who is extremely polite, attentive, and welcoming. He recognizes regular customers, remembers orders, and genuinely delivers great service with a smile.

“I don’t come to this location often, but every time I have I’ve always had such a wonderful experience. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. Shar was extremely patient and helpful with me (I’m usual indecisive when it comes to drink choices) & she made some great recommendations. She made me feel really welcomed and any time I’m in the area I look forward to popping by for a quick snack or drink. “I have been to many, many coffee shops in Toronto, but 1740 Avenue Road Starbucks is not just the best Starbucks I’ve ever been to，it is, without a doubt, the best place. Period. This isn't about the coffee (which is always perfect), but about the people. Cheng and his team have created something magical here: a genuine, warm, and uplifting hub that feels like a cornerstone of the neighborhood.

The 4/5 is mainly because I love Starbucks Oatmeal, but in five years of going here I've never been able to order it as they never have it available, even when I've gone in the morning. “My favourite Starbies location! Everyone here is so nice and so chill, with a welcoming vibe every time. They don't make me feel dumb for making special requests or for letting them know about my wife's allergy. I keep coming back here because the entire staff is competent, efficient, and super friendly.

We stopped at this Starbucks for a quick bite and a washroom break, and we were impressed by how clean the location was. The staff were professional and approachable, making for a pleasant visit. I also noticed they had a great selection of tumblers, though I passed since I already have one.

One nice touch is that they’re currently collecting hygiene products to support the Gerstein Crisis Centre. If you’d like to contribute, there’s a basket near the checkout where you can drop off your items.

We ordered two Double-Smoked Bacon, Cheddar & Egg Sandwiches, which were nicely presented and tasted delicious. Since the inside seating was full, we sat outside, and I appreciated that the outdoor tables were kept clean. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely visit again!

Parking: There is free parking on the street in the residential area, but you can also do paid parking in the main street“

“I find this location a bit too busy to work or have a conversation and their food inventory is not the greatest.

HOWEVER, I have to give a shout out to Paola. They didn't have what I ordered on the app and she went above and beyond with her customer service.

She was sweet, respectful, apologized a million times and solved my problem.

“I just wanted to leave a review - this morning I ordered an iced coffee with almond milk. When I picked it up - I notice the milk had separated in the coffee. Not knowing if this was normal - I asked the baristas. They made me a new coffee and explained. After googling - almond milk CAN curdle in acidic coffee. So - I wanted to apologize and thank you for the extra effort/work. THANK YOU!!!“

“Open-concept Starbucks in the plaza underneath the Metro grocery store. Staff were friendly and fast. If you want to sit at a table, I recommend wiping down the table first. The area gets a lot of traffic and Starbucks is not responsible for them.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance with power doors and an elevator to get to the Metro grocery store. The tables are a suitable height people in mobility devices.“

“One of my favorite Starbucks locations in the city. I’ve been coming here regularly and have tried a range of drinks—brewed coffee (hot and cold) and various seasonal options—and they consistently hit the mark. Quality is reliable, drinks are served at the right temperature, and everything tastes fresh.
