Parking: Street (paid) parking nearby, on both College & Bathurst, plus a "rate-per-hour" parking lot on the opposite (Southwest) corner from this Starbucks.

Kid-friendliness: All the staff (baristas) here are great with kids of all ages (less than a year, all the way up to 100+ years of age! ? )

Wheelchair accessibility: There's a wheelchair accessible ramp & door for those that cannot use the stairs.“

“I don't visit Starbucks very often, but I decided to get one on this occasion, and the baristas were very friendly. They greet you with a smile on their faces as soon as you step foot in the door. I had the Cookie Crumble seasonal frappe, and it was really good. The place didn't feel dirty, but it didn't feel super clean either, which is why I'm removing a star. Other than thar, excellent experience.“

“This location is near my workplace, so I've been visiting regularly for some time now. The warm exchanges and friendly service from team members is quite often the best part of my day.I have no idea how they're able to remember so many details on their regulars. “For those in the Beaches region, StarBucks is a great option for a quick meal.In the summer they have a table and chairs in the outdoor area, with an accessible entrance and automatic door on the avenue, and an exit on the side, also with an automatic door.Bathroom has grab bars, toilets and sinks adapted for disabled guests and automatic door. For those with babies, the store has a changing table.The store is usually quiet on normal days, but on parade days it is usually very busy, but with the fastest possible service (don't argue with the attendants, they always do their best).The store is always clean and organized. And the souvenir shelf always has an item that isn't available in the downtown stores.The store is located on the sidewalk of bus stops, so access is quick to various areas of the center.

Parking: There is paid parking on Joseph Street, and there are also some paid parking lots in the region!

“I recommend this location because I have always had pleasurable experience in this little Starbucks spot. Staff are really lovely. Today I went there to meet a colleague of mine after 2 years. While waiting for her, I ordered a small coffee, and sat on the chair. The nice smiling lady staff brought the coffee to me, despite being so busy at that time. I felt good and appreciated. I should have asked her name to thank her by her name! Thank you anyway!“

“I've been coming to this Starbucks almost every day for a couple of years now, especially since it's the closest location to me from university. From the moment I walk in, I’m always greeted by the kind and friendly staff who consistently make my drinks just right. This level of service is why I choose Starbucks over Tim Horton's or McDonald's. While some may say the drinks are overpriced, I personally don’t mind paying a little extra for quality handcrafted beverages and excellent service.

I want to give a special shoutout to some of my favorite staff members: David, Kaya, Afsana, and many more. They all bring such a positive attitude to the workplace, even during those busy rush hours when the orders pile up. Their hard work and dedication really make my day, and I genuinely believe they all deserve a raise for their outstanding service.

This Starbucks location may have limited seating since it's on the smaller side, but I really enjoy it, especially during patio season when there's a bit more space to relax outside. “I should preface this by saying I’ve worked for Starbucks for 15 years, so whenever I’m somewhere new, I try to visit a different location just to see how they do things. Having already stopped at Pablo’s and the nearest Tim Horton’s, I decided to drop into the Starbucks at Don Mills to see how it measured up.

Right off the bat, I noticed that Starbucks has the most interior room of the three. That said, it’s not really fair to compare them directly—each spot offers a different experience. The larger space here does come with a downside, though: more room means more guests, so it was a bit hectic when I visited. Still, nothing that would have stopped me from bringing my laptop and getting some work done if that had been the plan.

The staff were extremely nice, and my barista struck up a conversation about travel and other things, which was a nice touch. Even as someone who works for the company, I know not every Starbucks gets your drink right, but I could tell my barista made mine with care—and it was delicious.

Overall, a solid experience, and I’ll definitely be back to say hi and grab another drink the next time I’m in the area.“

“I just wanted to leave a review - this morning I ordered an iced coffee with almond milk. When I picked it up - I notice the milk had separated in the coffee. Not knowing if this was normal - I asked the baristas. They made me a new coffee and explained. After googling - almond milk CAN curdle in acidic coffee. “Love this location for the staff. They always greet you with a smile and a hello. They get to know your order and that gives a very welcoming feeling.Downside - because they closed the Grenview location on Bloor St, this location (Thompson) can get very very busy and parking is not good at all. It can be very hectic finding a spot and long wait times. While school is in, the lunch hour (11:30am -1pm.approx) and end of school day (2:30pm -3:30pm) fills with high-school students. Very packed. Beware of not paying the parking meter. I ran in to grab a coffee and came out to a $30 parking ticket. They ticket often.Starbucks should consider re opening the old Grenview location or another one close by again.“

“The barristas at The Toronto General Hospital location are simply the sweetest and so very empathatic. I had first hand experience with this and I have also watched them interacting with seniors and people in distress and they are just the best. Despite the size, they offer all the classic signature Starbucks drinks, along with a great variety of breakfast options and snacks. Even when there’s a big lineup, the service is impressively quick. I’m always in and out faster than I expect, which is definitely a bonus when you're in a rush. One of my favourite drinks at Starbucks is the Cranberry Orange Lemonade Refresher (without inclusions)—it's so refreshing and full of flavour! Honestly, it’s such a great drink that it should be available all year round, not just during the holidays. I can’t get enough of it and always look forward to coming back for one.

Overall, this Starbucks location really stands out. The friendly staff, quick service, and great drink options make it one of my go-to spots. Highly recommend it if you’re in the area!

“This is one of my favourite places to come to at lunch, spontaneously, and when I’m in need of a yummy drink. I love the people that work there they are SOO nice I love them so much. My food AND drink always comes in a span of 10-15 minutes within ordering and whoever’s been there at lunchtime knows how crowded and busy it gets, so with 3 people behind the counter and that timespan that’s so impressive. We stopped at this Starbucks for a quick bite and a washroom break, and we were impressed by how clean the location was. The staff were professional and approachable, making for a pleasant visit. I also noticed they had a great selection of tumblers, though I passed since I already have one.

One nice touch is that they’re currently collecting hygiene products to support the Gerstein Crisis Centre. If you’d like to contribute, there’s a basket near the checkout where you can drop off your items.

We ordered two Double-Smoked Bacon, Cheddar & Egg Sandwiches, which were nicely presented and tasted delicious. Since the inside seating was full, we sat outside, and I appreciated that the outdoor tables were kept clean. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely visit again!

Parking: There is free parking on the street in the residential area, but you can also do paid parking in the main street“
