“The food here is really good, as are the portions. This is our go to Chinese food in the area and cannot recommend it enough. Staff are really kind and friendly too.
I would only recommend that you call and order ahead as everyone mentioned the wait times are long. But only because this place is very popular!“

“The owners of this restaurant are very nice people and they make incredible food. I’ve been looking for a nice clean mom and pop shop type restaurant and this is 1000% the best one in town. Spring rolls and egg rolls are amazing, the fried rice is some of the best I’ve had, and the chicken dishes are also amazing. This is definitely a place to try out if you want to try a new place. 10/10 recommend this restaurant“

“Great food and great service. Suggest to call if you are trying to reserve on the same day. Pretty quiet so it’s perfect if you want to have a conversation with family/friends. Loved the Peking Duck especially the soup ($5 extra if you want to add the soup). Would definitely come again!“

“Super delicious food it definitely has a deep and
flavourful taste. The service is impeccable. All the waiters were very kind. The ambiance is calm and the decoration is beautiful. We had a few dietary restrictions and they respected it completely and made any necessary accommodations. In addition to that the servings are very large and filling. Very positive experience.

“The high Google rating is absolutely deserved. This modest hole in the wall restaurant delivers absolutely delicious noodle soup. The pork and pickled vegetable cut noodle soup is perfect. It pops with pickle and fresh cilantro flavour and the noodles and soft and luxurious. The cucumber salad also is perfectly balanced with salt, garlic and sour flavours. I’ll be back!“

“Ate here for two days in a row. My son likes the sauce-flavored buns the most, my daughter likes the classic beef noodles the best, and I like the fried buns with fresh meat the best. The service sister is also very enthusiastic. Even if she is very busy, she is very patient in serving. I will come often in the future.“

“We had a bad experience at another Chatbar location, but this one really turned things around. The staff were super attentive, the service was great, and the food hit the spot. Because it’s in Unionville, the place has a cozy, welcoming vibe that made the whole experience so much better. Definitely worth a visit!“

“First time here and I am loving every second of it. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff are so welcoming and nice. We got the curry chicken, curry beef and the noodle with spare ribs and all the foods were great and the price is so good too. Our waitress May was so amazing! She made this experience 100 times better for us. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will definitely be back.“

“Good food quality for a good price. They add rice and soup to your main dish takeout order. The eggplant grouper is actually grouper and not basa fillet. Eating here you will save about $4 - $5 bucks vs. many other similar HK cafe restaurants. Only downer is that they only take cash. Will return to eat here because of the food quality & lower prices.“

“Wow! Simply this is one of the best noodles soup bowl that i eaten! Came in was greeted and sat at a table. The server asked me if i had any allergies. I took the pork belly with egg noodles mild spice and mild numbing. The broth was so flavourful, there was some peanuts and preserved vegetables. Coriander and green onions to top it off. Explosion of taste and the noodles were a perfect consistency.
Hands down got to try this little place! Such a delightful discovery! Would come back for more next time :)
Oh by the way, for those who are extra hungry they have free noodle refills!“

“One of my favourite restaurants in all of Toronto! My family makes sure to visit this spot on regular occasion because of the exceptional Soup Dumplings, Pan-Fried Dumplings, Onion Pancakes and Dandan Noodles. Not to mention the convenient location and pleasant staff; the owner's son is very friendly and is doing a great job. For dessert, I highly recommend the Candied Bananas perfect for large groups. Price is also very reasonable which is rare in today's world.“

“Nice, fast, convenient bowl of noodles. My gf and I always get the supreme beef tomato broth soup noodles.
Big bowl of noodles, nice portion of beef (the meat is also not too fatty which is good) and super hearty tomato broth.
The soup is always piping hot, never diluted and the rice noodles are always cooked firm.
The utensils also don't smell of dishwashing detergent which cannot be said of some of the other locations we've been to.
We come here as a changeup from our usual go-to, peanut chili noodle soup bowl at Deer Garden.“

“Their dish has the strong flavors that I like. The chef’s stir frying skill pretty good too. Spicy dishes taste spicy and veggie dishes are lightly flavored.
It’s very easy to park in this mall so it’s easy to buy food here. The tricky part is that this restaurant is in the completely opposite direction of the food court. They have indoor dining seats but I usually do take out.“

“This tea house offers great dim sum deals — only $3.98 for S, M, L dishes if you pay before 12 noon or go after 1:30pm on weekdays, and $4.68 on weekends. It used to be our go-to spot back in our student days, and it’s still just as good now if you’re looking for a classic local dim sum and dinner place. There’s nothing like enjoying dim sum steamed fresh in bamboo baskets — it brings that nostalgic feeling you can’t get from frozen dim sum at home. “First stop in town for lunch while visiting the area. It wasn't busy so I ordered the lunch special general tso chicken that came with chicken fried rice and an egg roll. Food didn't take long to eat. Now it does taste slightly different from the American version , it isn't as saucy or super tender but other than that it did the job to satisfy my hunger.“

“Two of us went for dinner and ordered three dishes: Xi'an style cold noodles (凉皮)，Picked bun with lamb in Shanxi style(羊肉泡馍)，and Big platter spicy chicken with hand pulled noodles(大盘鸡). Everything tasted so good and authentic except that there was only very few pieces of lamb in the picked bun with lamb dish and most were fat. The chicken dish was very big portion and would strongly recommend.“

“This is my go-to joint for when I am craving Chinese food. Food is always fresh and flavorful. Always ready within minutes of ordering. Love their har gow, thai vermicelli chicken, beef flat rice noodles, spicy chicken, mango chicken, fried rice and spring/egg rolls. “Got the A1 (w/noodles + broth on the side), B1 (w/noodles), and C1 (no noodles).
The beef was super tender and soft. The regular shrimp wonton was stuffed and good. The fish wonton was okay I can see how some people may not like it.
The noodle itself nothing special.
The broth nothing special.
The size of the wontons were pretty big.
Would I go out of my way and drive all the way here for the wonton? Probably not. If you're in the area it's a good spot to try.“

“Very good claypot rice. The soups are not delivious but are very nutritious. Claypot rice takes at least 20 minutes to cook - I heard the next table order ahead via phone and got their meals quicker.
The service is so bad it is laughable. Just enjoy the food and don't expect the staff to smile or do anything basically.“

“This salt-baked chicken is so delicious! ! !At first, I didn’t have a clear understanding of the difference between shredded chicken.Ordered a direct cut?Slightly salty, it’s just delicious boiled chicken! The flavorful one! Very fresh! good smell! Special meal! The chicken breasts were very tender and not stale at all. Just eat it with green onion and ginger soul sauce and you can really enjoy two bowls of rice.-Today I ordered hand-shredded chicken and salt-baked chicken. They will actually cut it for you on the spot?, tear it on the spot, season it, and toss it??The chicken breast is still very tender, moist and tasty.Chicken skin is crispy and not greasyI am so in love with you that I must give everyone my blessing! ! ! ! !“
