“I love coming to Sushi Moto! I’ve brought many family members who have all enjoyed it as well. Everything is always fresh and delicious. I have a gluten allergy and they’re very accommodating and can alter things to be gluten free. They also have tamari! I haven’t tried a menu item I didn’t like. Plenty of options for the non sushi eaters too.“

“Nori is my favorite sushi in Portland. The prices are just right and the service is quick and kind. The people that work here are personable and attentive. I always get the spicy edamame and the Cherry Blossom roll. It’s the all time best sushi roll in my opinion. Please run, don’t walk, to Nori for a late lunch/dinner.“

“I've been coming here for a little over 2 years now and I'm overdue on a review. Their food NEVER disappoints. Consistent, fair pricing, and the crews are always friendly and greet you with a big smile. “Had my second visit to Kaede yesterday and it was just as incredible as the first. The omakase was outstanding — everything fresh, seasonal, and prepared with amazing attention to detail. The space itself is intimate, stylish, and has a quiet, understated elegance. The couple running it are warm and welcoming, with a kind, no-pressure approach that makes the whole experience even better. Truly a gem — I’ll definitely be back.“

“We love this place! We eat here regularly, and truly enjoy the food, cocktails, service, and ambiance. The black cod miso yaki is our favorite dish - it's delicious and I highly recommend it. The veggie and shrimp tempura is the best I've ever had, with an interesting mix of eggplant, mushrooms, squash, lotus root, and onions - all lightly battered and served with a delightful dipping sauce (pour the dipping sauce on the black cod, it's so good). The cocktails, especially the Japanese 75 and the shiso gin drink (I can't think of the name), are well-balanced and mixed properly, and are very yummy. I tell everyone I know to try this place! Some of the food can seem adventurous if you're not familiar with Japanese fare, but it's all delicious and beautifully presented. Finally, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the owner is a very sweet and funny lady. All around, Sushi Kuni is a great dining experience and I highly recommend checking it out.“

“I would love to give this place five stars. They're are often not open during their scheduled business hours. I've been here multiple times in the last few weeks at 12:00, which is when they say they open yet they are closed. I'm sitting here right now at 12:15 and their food truck is closed.“

“One of the best kept secrets of getting fantastic sushi and omakase in the city. A great selection of sake personally curated by the owner. The restaurant doubles as a sushi grade, dry aged fish butchery shop that serves fantastic sashimi rice bowls on the back end of the week. reservations highly recommended in the weekend.“

“I had a nice, relaxed experience here the other evening. It was somewhat busy but the server got my order quickly. I enjoyed some quality sake while waiting for my sushi. The wait, not so long, was worth it. I loved the Playboy roll, with seared tuna, and the Mango Tango roll even more. The miso soup was good; the decor and atmosphere was pretty cool. But the sushi was delicious. I'd highly recommend this restaurant. I'll be back for sure.“

“This resteraunt is close to OHSU down on the water front. I was waiting for my husband while he was having a small procedure and found this place about a block away. They have a unique selection of poke bowls and other sushi and Bento selections. I had the Bbq Unagi poke bowl which was very fresh and tasty.“

“We ordered thru UberEats. While UberEats won’t rectify any issues you might have, I called the restaurant, and they explained how they were able to accommodate an allergy. The food was delicious! We will be back. My kids loved the seared salmon donut., and the banana B-ritto. I had the treasure roll and a bowl with mixed fish. We got wasabi mayo sauce, chili sauce and another orange mayo- delicious. We kinda stuffed ourselves, to be honest. (And they use paper goods to wrap their food instead of plastic.) thank you!“

The prices are 100% worth the portions, quality, and taste of the food here. I am obsessed with their vegan options, and obsessed with the quality of the fish when I stray away from plant-based. “Sushi Zen is hands down the best sushi in town! The atmosphere is perfect for a sake night, and the prices are more reasonable compared to other places. I love that you can order half rolls to try different flavors! They have best sake collection and as someone who enjoys sushi and has tried many spots in town, this one is by far the best. The service is always friendly, and the staff is so welcoming every time I visit. It's a great spot for date nights or casual gatherings. They even have a sushi rail, which is super fun to watch and grab dishes from. Highly recommend it, but be sure to arrive early as it fills up quickly!“

“I went here for the first time tonight (Friday, 6/30) at 5:15 PM. It was fabulous! Our server went out of the way with us, including looking into different types of tequila they have so my mom could have the perfect margarita. The food came out very quickly, our water was always full, and the ambiance was great. We had delicious chicken gyoza, shrimp gyoza, ebi tem, and chicken karaage don. It's some of the best Japanese food we've had in the Happy Valley/Clackamas area in a long time. We will definitely be back!“
