“We have tried Salt&Straw at various locations and states. Very consistent across it all.

Open concept design. Benches against giant windows to feel the breeze (it was a hot day). I’m sure wintertime they shut it tight. Bathroom inside (need a code).

The staff were very patient and friendly. You can ask as many samples as you want. Even if there’s a line, it usually move fast. Creamy, strong flavor, good quality ice cream.

The menu has interesting options. Even though we have been to many locations, we still haven’t tried them all. There are tubs and merchandises on display if you like a souvenir.“

“Our server Peyton at the Cedar Hills shop was absolutely the best! She was informative about all the new seasonal flavors and delivered the description of each flavor with the confidence and professionalism of a server at an upscale restaurant. She definitely represented the uniqueness of Salt and Straw, we are already planning to visit other locations.“

“Aside from the great tasting ice cream, Salt & Straw has the most eclectic flavors of ice cream that include pear & blue cheese as well as honey lavender however they have most of the classic flavors as well. The staff are very willing to let you try whatever flavors you want and encourage you to try everything.

I settled on a waffle cone with chocolate gooey brownie and it was fabulous! I tried the pear & blue cheese and the hazelnut cookies and cream. The flavor of blue cheese dominated and lingered. I love blue cheese and it was a nice experience to see how that was made into ice cream.“

“I came here on September 16th around 6:30pm. As I walked in, there was a line of about 6 to 7 people. I was happy to see that they were busy, especially since it was Friday night. However, a white male in front of me got frustrated at one of the associates because they didn't have cherry vanilla ice cream. He was mentioning that he waited in a line only to find out that they don't have cherry vanilla icecream. He said to the associate, "Let's talk about what just happened here." It made me feel really bad for the associate. The other associate overheard and stepped in. Told the customer that they didn't have the flavor of icecream and that there was a line. The associate told this customer to chill out, and it was a reasonable request from my perspective. After the customer was told to chill out he mentioned, "I know the owner....". It unfortunately was a situation where the customer felt very entitled to get what he wanted and an excuse to be rude to the associates. I think the associates handled this extremely well. I'm glad they stood up for themselves. That is not treatment they deserve.“

“Really good frozen custard. I had a 16oz. choc/vanilla twist concrete and I could not stop. It was pretty epic. The staff were really cool and accommodating. Interior is open and spacious, making it very comfortable for customers. Decor is moody in the best way. Great experience and will be back.“

“It was really nice inside friendly people the cookies were great everything was in stock I ordered ahead so when I got there they packed everything up for me freshly everything was made really pretty their cookies make you not want to eat them because they are so pretty but they're so delicious everyone should enjoy them this go round, I will give crumble 5 stars. “I had a event I was organizing and reached out to Ice Cream Express WA. I rented one of their carts. I can not say enough about my experience. They were fast on communication, they offer a wide variety of ice cream. The cart is super cute and better then I expected. They dropped off on time and picked it up after the event. Popped in a few min to closing and the clerk looked like everything was shut down, covers over the ice creams and floor freshly mopped. They were more than happy to give my scoop, insisting the mopped floor wa not an issue. “Tried the seasonal eggnog cake. If tiramisu met a white sheet cake at the holiday party and got sloppy together - it would be this cake. The moisture and flavor of the eggnog soaked the cake from the bottom up. The creamy icing on top sprinkled with nutmeg brought home the tiramisu vibe. “Incredible service by John, me and my husband love going to this specific coldstone in hopes of him making our ice-cream! always extremely sweet, helpful and efficient. Was helping a line full of people all by himself while still chatting and laughing with all of them.
