“if you want to eat fish, they have fish and definitely don't skimp on the portions. If all you care about is the food tasting good and its reasonably priced and good portions, this is the sushi spot. If you want your food to look fancy and be expensive then i would recommend eating elsewhere. I'm not saying the sushi looks bad, sometimes the rolls are a little sloppy and fall apart. I love unagi and i love dragon rolls. Do NOT order the dragon roll here it makes me sad. Their salmon is really good though. Would recommend the spider roll.

“Visited twice since I been here in Portland. Great vibe, nice, and friendly employees. I had been suffering depression all week and hadn't eaten. Stop by after doing my laundry. Had some miso soup, calamari, and Jack Daniels jack and jingle to drink. The bartender, the music, the ambience, and food was really good. I went here because my gf said she got sushi here and I was shocked, because my impression of Mio was not good based on the other location. But trust is important in a relationship, so I decided to give it a shot.

I couldn't believe how good the sushi was. It rivaled my favorite place to go, and it's a better price point.

Service was great, and the waiter was attentive and friendly.

I looked around and there were no boxes sitting on the floor. This seems like a really weird thing to say unless you've been to the Hawthorne location, which is cluttered. Clearly the staff here care more.

Highly recommended if you're in this area. Get the salmon ngiri and the Oregon roll!“
