“This place is AMAZING! My mom and I are in town for a college tour, and many people were walking around with the ice cream so I suggested we give it a try. Immediately the two guys in there were delightful and very helpful and cheery. The atmosphere was so fun the moment we walked in. The flavors were amazing and I almost couldn’t choose between the Thin Mint and the Pittsburgh Pride. I ended up going with the latter. It is like brownie/oreo/cookie chunks and butterscotch. There might be another thing added. My mom got the pear flavor. We are both extremely satisfied with our choices. They did say that the flavors change up pretty often - for example, they’re getting ready for Blackberry Lemonade. But Pittsburgh Pride will always be available. So if you’re looking for a cute little dessert place after dinner, this is the place!“
“The coffee is absolutely delicious as are the various snacks they provide like cookies and muffins. The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful for suggestions on what you'd like. I don't drink coffee much and she matched me to the perfect type for me. The store is a cute hole in the wall you won't regret going too. Love it!“
“This place never disappoints. I come here every time I come to Pittsburgh. This is a high quality ice cream shop with something for everyone! The line was long both times I came here, but that is a good indication of why this is a Pittsburgh staple! “That is the best ice cream I have ever had in town! Antney's Ice Cream is undescribable!!!! They are killing it with flavor, friendly staff and their changing menu. My personal fav is Cookie Monster and Red Velvet. However whatever I tried in there did not dissappoint once! Everthing is so delicious and freshly made!! I can give them 10k stars if I could! “Wonderful little shop! I pass by everyday and from the outside it looks like a hole in the wall. Incredible flavor! Maple bourbon pecan is the definition of fall flavor, move over pumpkin spice. It was full of flavor and chucks of candied pecans. With little expectation, it was a real TREAT! Will definitely be back to try more!“

“extremely quick place for frozen yogurt. little human interaction as the yogurt and toppings are all self serve. only thing you need to interact with somebody for is to weigh your yogurt and pay but the whole process takes less than 10 maybe even 5 minutes if you know what you want.“
“Big thing here for the non-locals - CASH ONLY !The owner is one of the most down to earth people you'll meet. All the ice cream here is lovely, haven't had one bad thing here. There is no hard serve ice cream, but you can figure that out based on doing basic research. The place is exactly how you see it as well, right off of 5th avenue, so if there is a massive line you'll wait and like it!There usually isn't ever a large line and there is shaded seating on the left side of the building. They have blizzards, cones, sundaes, milkshakes and slushies, so there is more than enough to choose from. Does not hold back on hooking you up, and the price is cheaper than DQ“
“I'm a big fan of scoops! The location is perfect for grabbing a treat after dinner in the area or on a walk. They're open all year and open late which is super convenient. I love that they carry my childhood favorites (Superman, White House cherry, grasshopper pie) and the price is super reasonable. They have a little sitting area inside with some retail space selling pop, ice cream cakes, and candy. There are SO many options it always takes me forever to choose, but I usually pick two. This isn't the place to go if you're looking for super high quality locally churned ice cream or anything but is great if you're looking for a classic scoop of something sugary and fun or are going with a group who has varying tastes. There are tons of flavors kids and grownups alike will love (shout out blue moon!!!!) They have some frozen yogurt options, dairy free options, and things like milkshakes if a cone or cup isn't your thing. A go-to when I'm hanging out in Bloomfield and want a treat.“

The ice cream is delicious and always generously filled with candies and confections. “Will absolutely make multiple return visits! This place is such a hidden gem, and much more spacious inside than it appears from the street. Great coffee and food, and MUCH more affordable than expected. I parked in one of the dedicated for spots for free, then got a 12oz drip coffee with a delicious breakfast sandwich, all for less than $6. Can't wait to try out more on their menu! To top it off, the WiFi is strong for working or studying, and there are clean restrooms on-site. Happy I discovered this place!Parking: A few free spots are located next to the shop. Street parking is free in the permit parking zones according to the hours on the signs. Otherwise, paid parking can be found in the area.“
“This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Pittsburgh area! It’s authentic and delicious. I’m from Texas and finding a spot like this is hard to find. Their tacos de tripitas are my favorite! I don’t think you can get tripitas anywhere in this area that I’m aware of. Highly recommend!“
“I'd give this place 10 stars! Tried 3 milkshakes and hubby tried 2 over 3 days in Pittsburgh. Every shake was great. Thick, flavorful and perfect toppings. Root beer float was basic but still the rich vanilla elevated it. Chocolate strawberry shake was the best. I'd be here 2x a week getting shakes. The Chocolate was also delicious. Almond bar was better than coconut but I prefer almond. Staff moved quick and I don't do social media, but they do make the shakes picture worthy.“
“Every time I visit family in Oakmont, we make several trips to Brr-Kee's. There are many reasons to love this place. The ice cream flavors are plentiful to choose from and excellent regarding temperature and taste. The sundaes and cones are always very good for the folks liking the normal portion sizes. For the professional ice cream connoisseur, you really should try the large banana split. You can have them swap the usual vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry flavors for any flavor of the day listed. Check out the picture of this bad boy. Takes me back to the tasty freezes of a bye gone era. Also, the fact that they are open year round is a huge bonus as many of us enjoy ice cream in the colder months.“
“I came here without knowing much about it other than it has ice cream. I discovered it's more interesting than I expected. You create your own ice cream flavor and add toppings and other additions. I got a regular size custard in a waffle bowl. I combined marshmallow, white chocolate, and caramel flavors and added Oreo and cookie dough pieces. It was yummy and I was super surprised by how big the regular ice cream was. Would go back again.“
“Went for the first time tonight. Service was fast and friendly.Del's serves Perry's Ice Cream, which I grew up eating in Erie, PA. It is awesome ice cream and harder to find in Pittsburgh. On top of that there are many "ice cream parlor only" flavors that you can't buy in the grocery store anywhere.Husband got 3 scoops, and I got the ice cream nachos. Ice cream nachos come with 2 scoops, waffle cone "nachos" and 2 toppings. Both of the things we got seemed like a great deal. As a major ice cream - especially cookie dough - fan I can't recommend this place enough. I would absolutely drive out of my way to come here again vs. Dairy Queen and other independent places.“
“I recently moved back to the area after 35+ years and was happy to see Dell's! My elderly father loves his ice cream and milkshakes and I was thrilled to stop at Dell's for him. Dad got a milkshakes and I got an arctic swirl. Not your bland tasteless machine ice-cream at all. Just good old fashioned real ice-cream at reasonable prices. And what a selection! “Very wide variety of flavors to choose from. My favorite is lil blue panda and is what I get every time. Family members think the award winning chocolate is not remarkable at all, though. Flavored cones are a nice addition. Prices are comparable to other shops. The place is always very clean and there is seating available. My only complaint has consistently been staff. The kids working are not friendly, at times horsing around, confused on which customers need waited on.“
“This is by far my favorite ice creamery around. They are a tad more expensive but so so so worth it. Even when uber delivered for them they pack the ice cream with such care making sure in case the driver has other stops your ice cream does not melt they put ice bags with it. They've never got a single order wrong, I've tried almost all the ice creams and all are really good I see the quality. So even if a bit higher in price you won't lose my business“

We love to come as large groups and order from their Family style menu for larger portions to charge. The Roman pizza is unique in the area and we love it. The homemade pasta divine is our favorite. The espresso martinis are made with in-house vanilla infused vodka and real espresso! 20 drafts on tap! Wine on tap for Prosecco floats?! We always make sure to save room for the best gelato in the states! So many tasty options. We recommend the Wild Italian Cherry and the Orange Julio with candied oranges. The sweat cream topped with espresso affogato style is to die for ? The whole team are rockstars. Reservations are easy to make and change online. The ice cream is amazing, and the flavors offered change with the seasons. After sampling multiple flavors, we finally settled on cookies and cream, and espresso! “Started my Pittsburgh foodie adventures in this adorable little sit-down pizza restaurant in Shadyside! We tried the Pizza Del Re (white pizza) and Pizza Della Casa (red pizza), and both lived up to the hype! Pizza Del Re: - White pizza with mozzarella, truffle spread, & prosciutto (it comes with mushrooms too, but we got it without because my boyfriend doesn't like mushrooms) - A super rich truffle taste that was so yummy - Loved the thin crust, but there were parts that tasted a little too burnt Pizza Della Casa: - Red tomato sauce pizza with mozzarella, grape tomatoes, arugula, prosciutto, & parmigiano - I love the combination of prosciutto & arugula and it was a plus that the arugula tasted so fresh & wasn't bitter - I personally prefer red sauce over white sauce, so I liked this pizza a little bit more To top off your meal here, make sure to get their gelato for dessert! I got a small size with 2 flavors -- tiramisu and hazelnut. Both flavors were super rich and yummy and definitely satisfied my sweet tooth.“

“Millie's has a small location right off of Market Square downtown, the perfect spot to cool down on a warm sunny day and get a sweet treat! I love how Millie's always has suck a great variety of flavors that's always changing, and that they always have a few dairy-free options available. It's usually really hard to pick one flavor, so luckily the staff is very open to sampling and you can mix and match your scoops as well!“

“Surprisingly not too unbearably sweet. It's very creamy and having me want more which is dangerous. Inside this Jake shake has like some cookie crumble/oreos. It gives a crunchy bite. Overall, I very much loved it despite the calories Service was swift. Plenty of seating to enjoy their drinks with friends. Definitely a good after dinner date spot.“
“On the plus side, Great place if you are craving something sweet. My daughter and I got waffles with toppings and they were fresh, warm and really good. So many options it was hard to choose. On the minus side, this is a great place that probably won’t last because of the location. The foot traffic is minimal because this mall is not a popular destination any more. Personally, that was probably my last trip there considering how far it has degraded. This shop would do so much better in some place like Miracle Mile where more passers by can see and smell the great offerings at this cute little shop. Regardless, I’m rooting for them.“

“My family loves this place! It's almost a tradition for us -- play a round of mini golf, then follow the game by getting some floats. We also usually pick out a flavor or two to order in to-go/"take home" containers, as well. We have enjoyed everything we've tried from here! This location sells pints, quarts, and gallons of frozen custard as well as lots of "eat immediately" treats. There are ordering/pick-up windows in the front, covered picnic tables around back, and a medium-sized parking lot surrounding the building. The attached mini golf course is picturesque with a blue waterfall and water hazards. The first and last hole are across the street (actually more of an alley/parking area) from the rest of the holes, which gives it a unique twist. There are also scorecard "podiums" along the course. (There are no food or drinks allowed on the course, but one or two trash cans would be a nice addition, since some guests occasionally break the rules of the course, as well as the rules of human decency, and leave trash around the playing areas. They might not use the bins anyway, but other more conscientious guests would probably assist with this.) Overall, this is a wonderful place to visit. I highly recommend the mini golf and the frozen custard -- consecutively as a complete trip, or separately.“

“Scoops is a five minute walk so I find myself there every once in a while. I usually get a milkshake, tip is to ask for extra thick, if I don't do this it turns out being almost a milk consistency. Workers are always really nice and let you try any flavor you want.“

“I've visited Jeni's twice in the past week because I just can't get over how good it is. My current favorite flavor is the Brown Butter Almond Brittle. It's seriously amazing. I also love the Salted Peanut Butter with chocolate flakes and Darkest Chocolate. The service is always super friendly and despite being busy most of the time, quick but not rushed. I love trying different flavors and the staff is always so patient. A little pricier for ice cream but worth it on splurge days!“

They have 2 categories of milkshakes: essentially, the classics (vanilla, peanut butter, chocolate, etc) and ‘Mania’ shakes (that are…extreme). I tried a Mania shake called the Double Wide.The Double Wide comes with peanut butter ice cream, a chocolate chip cookie, and a brownie. It’s extravagant to say the least. Price wise, I thought it was okay, but a tad expensive. Portion was about average.The milkshake itself wasn’t anything all that special. I didn’t really taste much peanut butter in the ice cream to be honest. The brownie and chocolate chip cookie were thrown into the ice cream…the brownie was kind of dry and not the best, but the chocolate chip cookie had lots of chocolate and was delicious.All in all, a pretty solid spot to get dessert.
