“This is a special place. Liege waffles are very different than anything I've ever had. They are made from a yeast dough, with caramelized brown sugar inside, smallish, and served warm in a napkin so that you can take it with you while window shopping. Please note: these are not meant to be served with ice cream on top. The ice cream and waffles are both very good by themselves. The owner only serves them together because people ask for that, but I think they ask for it because they think that's how it's meant to be served. (At least, that's what we thought!)“

I was between multiple flavors after sampling (which speaks to how good the options are that I was so indecisive when picking two flavors), and the staff helped me narrow down my choices by making recommendations of flavor pairings. I had the brown butter almond brittle and salted peanut butter with chocolate flecks, while my husband had gooey butter cake and double dough. I found that due to the richness of the ice creams, a small serving was sufficient, but you pay a premium because of the quality.“
