“We stopped at this food truck/trailer at the Monongahela Farmer’s Market which is held starting in June. Not much of a farmer’s market – in fact, there was only one “farmer” there and only a handful of vendors, one of which was Udderly Fresh Rolled Ice Cream. \n\nWhat a great concept!!! There are literally thousands of combinations you can create. Three step process – select your base ice cream, then your add-ins, then your toppings. Once the add-ins are “added in”, they pour the ice cream on a “frozen” cook top that looks like it’s covered in wax but it’s not. It’s just like a super cold grill. The ice cream gets smoothed out, then it is scraped into rolls and placed in a cup. Then the toppings are added on top. \n\nWe got a couple of them, one with Oreos and caramel with whipped cream and a chocolate drizzle. The other was a lavender ice cream with raspberries and strawberries, topped with whipped cream. Both were really, really good. \n\nThe owners Sheri & Dave are super nice. It’s a little pricey ($6 for a small; $8 for a large – the lavender one in the pic was a large), but definitely worth trying at least once. Would we go back? Every time we see them. Every. Single. Time. According to their website, they also do private parties – what a great way to celebrate a special occasion!“

“This is a special place. Liege waffles are very different than anything I've ever had. They are made from a yeast dough, with caramelized brown sugar inside, smallish, and served warm in a napkin so that you can take it with you while window shopping. Please note: these are not meant to be served with ice cream on top. The ice cream and waffles are both very good by themselves. The owner only serves them together because people ask for that, but I think they ask for it because they think that's how it's meant to be served. (At least, that's what we thought!)“

“Best ice cream shop in Pittsburgh. Huge milkshakes for reasonable prices. They don't skimp on the ice cream. Their tornadoes are amazing - get them with extra toppings. The turtle sundae is also great; the caramel they use is so good. All their portions are massive and reasonably priced.“

“There’s nothing like discovering a new ice cream shop when you travel. I love trying out local ice cream wherever I go and Millie‘s homemade ice cream definitely did not disappoint.
These ice cream flavors were some of the richest, most decadent I have ever experienced and that is coming from an ice cream aficionado.
After dinner, we walked to Millie‘s from our Airbnb and after sampling many different flavors, I finally settled upon the backyard s’mores and the brownie batter. Both flavors absolutely stuck true to their names and packed a punch.
I think I preferred the backyard s’mores just slightly because the brownie batter was SO decadent and SO rich it almost was too much. The keyword there being “almost”.
So if you are looking for some smooth, creamy, delicious ice cream in the Lawrenceville area, come check out Millie’s.“

“We recently visited The Milkshake Factory in Pleasant Grove, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by Micah, the owner, who made us feel like family. It was as if he had known us for years! Micah’s hospitality was unmatched. He generously offered us free samples of their incredible chocolate, encouraging us to try as much as we liked. It was such a thoughtful gesture that truly set the tone for our visit. As for the milkshakes, they were out of this world! I indulged in the Bananas Foster Milkshake, which was rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor. My wife couldn’t get enough of her Cookie Brownie Fudge milkshake—it was the perfect blend of decadent flavors. Our kids loved their classic Vanilla Milkshakes, which were smooth and delicious. The attention to detail, quality of ingredients, and exceptional customer service made this visit unforgettable. We can’t wait to return and try more of their amazing offerings. If you’re in Pleasant Grove, do yourself a favor and stop by The Milkshake Factory—you won’t be disappointed!“

I really like that they offer so many different flavors and topping options it’s easy to find something for everyone. The staff was friendly and the shop has a welcoming vibe. I’ll definitely be back!“

“Del’s Plum Creamery is amazing! I love trying new milkshake spots when I travel, and this was hands down the best one yet! Staci, the owner, even came outside to check in with us — her passion for her shop really shows! Can’t wait to stop by again next time we’re in PA! Thanks again, Staci!“

“We stopped here after dinner while on vacation in Pittsburgh and loved it so much we went back a couple days later! Staff is super friendly, the store is super clean, portions are huge and the value is great. I can't recommend Pittsburgh Potholes enough, it's so tasty! The only downside of Scoops in Bloomfield is that there's limited indoor seating - it gets crowded easily so keep this in mind if you plan to dine in during peak times.“

“The ice cream was great with big portions and lots of fun flavors. The service was fast and friendly. They've got it down to a science even on a busy night. And the mini golf was a fun way to wrap up the evening. It was a well maintained green and had a fun water hazard. We'll be back!“

“This place is amazing, local and they have very unique handmade flavor offerings that my family loves. I’m giving them four stars after multiple times driving across town, with excited children only to be greeted with a paper on the window explaining some special circumstances for which they have to be closed for the day. If only they would update their hours online.“

“Yummy! While on our June summer road trip with our kids, we were in the mood for something sweet and decided to try out The Meadows for their famous custard. We were not disappointed! The building is very welcoming from the outside. All painted with ice cream cones and Adirondack chairs sitting around. In the front, you have tables where you can sit outside and enjoy the air. Inside you have tables and chairs in a brightly painted, cheerful room. There is also a life-size connect 4 game where the kids can play. My son and I enjoyed a game while eating our custard. It was a busy day, but the workers did great. They were very friendly. We all went for the original vanilla and we’re very impressed. I loved my waffle cone! It was a very hot day and these definitely hit the spot! Highly recommend! Good for kids! Boosters and high chairs available. *Wheelchair accessible entrance, seating, parking lot and restroom. Offers eat in, take out that you can get through the drive-through window or the walk up window and delivery. Credit and debit cards accepted.“

“A splurge and more of a high-end ice cream experience, Jeni’s offers high quality ice cream with unique specialty flavors. You can sample as many flavors as you’d like, and they serve samples on metal spoons that they wash, which is a pretty unique and sustainable sample model for an ice cream shop! I was between multiple flavors after sampling (which speaks to how good the options are that I was so indecisive when picking two flavors), and the staff helped me narrow down my choices by making recommendations of flavor pairings. I had the brown butter almond brittle and salted peanut butter with chocolate flecks, while my husband had gooey butter cake and double dough. I found that due to the richness of the ice creams, a small serving was sufficient, but you pay a premium because of the quality.“
“Great little local place! The parfaits and sundaes are really big and the cherry on top was HUGE! They even offered a pup cup for our dog.
I also just want to give them a shout out for keeping the inside SPOTLESS. Ice cream places can get super sticky or run down looking easily but it was super clean!“
“Absolutely the best shaved ice in South Park—and honestly, anywhere nearby!
Wu’s Shaved Ice is a gem that everyone needs to know about. The flavors are refreshing, and the ice is fine and fluffy, never chunky or watery. The portions are generous too!
The service is always warm and welcoming, and the whole vibe is friendly and fun—great for families, date nights, or just a quick treat on a hot day. They also have unique flavor combinations that you won’t find anywhere else!“
“The ice cream is a great option for a snack on the hot days. It is easy to find and not overpriced. It is very tasty and the staff are very friendly. There was not a long wait when we stopped, and service was quick. It's definitely a spot to stop at the zoo.“
“Just tried the cappuccino flavor at a tasting in the Grove Kosher Market , South Euclid, Ohio. Rich, creamy, and nice flavor. Consistency was good. I would recommend a little more coffee flavoring for a more intensified taste. 4/5“

“Millie’s is absolutely amazing. While working in the area. I had the pleasure of meeting Steven. I inquired where his business was and that I would need to come and try his ice cream. Surprise he brought me and my coworkers a goodie bag. The strawberry pretzel, s’mores, cookies and cream, and chocolate was the most delicious I have ever tasted. Oh and those waffle cones ♥️“

“I had Leonas ice cream sandwiches as the dessert for my outdoor spring wedding. My now husband and I both LOVE ice cream and when we decided that's what we wanted to have for our special day I knew Leonas was the choice. We got to pick from SO many of their delicious seasonal flavors - narrowing it down was the hardest part! They were SO detailed and thorough in helping me ensure the sandwiches were served appropriately. All of our guests RAVED about how perfect the ice cream was for the day and how delicious they were. It was a hilarious bonus that the pre-wrapped treats were much more portable than a slice of cake - MANY of them made it out onto the dance floor! Couldn't recommend them more as a DELICIOUS and super fun addition to any event.“

“I check the weekly offerings and try to plan a trip when something sounds appealing. I will say that I have enjoyed 95% of the ones I tried. You can't go wrong with the semi-sweet chocolate chip. The pineapple upside down cake was delicious. The orange creamsicle flavor was spot on. They recently had a peanut butter crisp cookie featuring Butterfinger. It tasted like the candy bar in cookie form.“

“I have a matcha problem and I really enjoyed the matcha ice cream here. Levels 2 and 3 were great but I’m sure that level 1 is good too! Good customer service as well. I also liked that there were non-matcha flavors available for my non-matcha consuming companions.“

“biscuits and gravy slaps, their burritos slap, they have a wild amount of drink options. The dining room is typically always clean, they do get packed sometimes because of how good they can be. They worked very hard to get where they are in the industry here in the 719. make sure to support your local businesses no matter what! This place had dreams of being a restraunt and made it happen!“
