“The food here is really good and their prices are way better than other surrounding Chinese food places. However, I just really love the customer service here, that’s what keeps me coming back! The employees are genuinely nice every time I come in!“
“I went to Little’s Oyster Bar for my birthday celebrated. I enjoyed the blue crab oysters, broccolini, and grouper. The waitstaff was very attentive to most of our needs. I would recommend this for a special occasion.Dietary restrictions: Pescatarian“
“We had a great brunch at State of Grace. The atmosphere is excellent and everyone loved the food. The cinnamon roll is to die for. We also got steak & eggs as well as the eggs benedict which were very well made. Service was friendly but could have been a bit better.Note- There is a valet and ample self parking in the back.“
“My family group, 'The Hustlin' Honeys" traveled to Houston from Louisiana, and Kamp was the first thing on our to do list. We had the best time. Our server was very hospitable. The food, drinks, and ambience were excellent! Everyone has agreed that we will Definitely make Kamp one of our go-to spots on our future trips. Kamp Houston is definitely a YES in our book.“
“Had a great meal last night at Guard and Grace. Josh gave great service and recommendations. The grilled shrimp cocktail are a must have. Amazing flavors and presentation. The filet cooked over oak served with the demi glace and carrot was delicious. The truffle gnocchi was a really nice side that is different from typical steakhouse sides. Finished with the chocolate chip cookies that were awesome! Really enjoyed dinner here and will make it a regular stop anytime I am in Houston.“
“The Quality and Portions of the various seafood items I ordered over two different occasions was impressive. The fried shrimp rivals Christie's. The stuffed crab was the best I have ever had in my 50 years of memorable seafood dining. And all praises go to the manager, Gary. Gary was so intent on providing customers with great service that when I called about an item that was not in my order, he offered to double the order and actually bring it to my home. Gary deserves the Medal of Honor for restaurant managers. With their quality food, great portions and real value, there should be a line around the block every day for this neighborhood gem. Bravo ?.“
“My daughter and I found this place on Google, highly rated and with $$ for cost. While we felt this was more of a $$$ restaurant for the prices, every bite was well worth it! The menus was full of interesting offerings, making it tough to choose. The Cocateles with mixed seafood was so flavorful. My daughter had the Tres Tacos and I had the salmon with veggies and we shared. SO DELICIOUS! Also, the table next to us had an octopus dish (apparently their specialty) and it was beautiful, like a work of art. I will definitely go back when I visit Houston again!“
“This was my first visit to Josephine's. I stumbled upon it while driving home and noticed a sign for the restaurant. After a quick Google search, I discovered they specialized in seafood, my favorite cuisine, so I decided to give them a try. Two days later, I made a reservation. Upon arrival, the hostess warmly greeted me, and I requested to sit at the bar. However, I wasn't acknowledged for another 10 minutes until I made eye contact with one of the bartenders named Cam. He promptly provided me with a drink and dinner menu. I also interacted with Franklin, who seemed quite introverted and not the best fit for the bar atmosphere. Despite that, Cam was very personable, funny, and had a down-to-earth personality, making my experience enjoyable. The oysters were phenomenal, and I look forward to returning to try other items on the menu. Overall, I had a great time, and the "Drink, Right Time Wrong Place" was amazing.“
“Everytime I come here, it's a pleasant and TASTY experience. Probably some of my favorite street corn in this part of Houston - it's worth every penny in my opinion.Coffee is also done well. I'll keep coming back like I do. ?⭐“
“Whenever I first came I wasn't expecting the food to be anything special but I was blown away. The food was incredible and the service was super good. 10/10 I recommend this for anyone. The only two complaints is that the sushi is pretty mid but that's fine because that's not even their speciality and it's in sugar land. They should open up a second location near the Galleria or downtown.“
“I went last night with my mom and best friend to celebrate my moms birthday. When I say it was the best birthday dinner she's ever had, I am not lying. Our server (I wish I could remember his name, he was a sweetie!) was amazing, extremely attentive, and very kind. Rene (I believe is his name) the manager, was extremely thoughtful. He brought champagne as soon as we sat down and he also brought my mom a card at the end of the dinner. It was so thoughtful and amazing! The service was excellent, our cups were always full and our table was very clean at all times. The chickpea crepe, sourdough, and escargot were amazing! The ravioli, broccolini, and steak were so flavorful. We ate every bite. Phenomenal experience and we will definitely be back. Thank you all! My mom was so happy.“
“We had Easter brunch and all ordered something different. Everything except the chicken dish was excellent. The shrimp and grits were top notch! The staff was very attentive. The restaurant was beautiful and the valet retrieved the car quickly even though they were very busy.“
“Clawdaddy did not disappoint ! The food is really good! I ordered the snow crab - house - mild and the wings with rice (added shrimp). Everything was delicious and the portions are large! The dipping sauce is also really good. The staff were extremely friendly ! I will definitely be back and soon.“
“Overall, nice dining experience. Waiter was too attentive, however - felt like we had no time to ourselves - the gentleman was continually on top of us. We couldn't even finish our cocktail when we sat down. Really took away from the dining experience.“
“Steak 48 never disappoints!! From Chicago to Houston. The best experience, best food, best vibe!!! The waiter was amazing!!! Food delicious!! Valet opened my door and held my hand to help me out the car upon arrival/departure!! This is for sure my favorite steakhouse!! The service 5 star!! I don’t have not 1 bad thing to say. Wish we had one in Dallas but I’ll gladly drive to Houston! Set my birthday off right!!! I literally went to Houston specifically because of Steak 48!!! I took my friend for the first time and she was blown away!“
“This is my favorite date night spot! They never disappoint and always treat us right. Their customer service is top notch and their food is always delicious. Managers are always there to make sure everything is up to expectations and we leave happy and full!“
“When to crafty crab with my son and it was a great experience with the server Diamond. She recommended A good drink and broccoli and when I tell u she didn’t lie. It was good!! When I go back I will order what I had and recommend Diamond as my server. She’s great ??“
“Best damn grilled oysters I have ever had!! Ceviche ? Sooo good. I love the homemade blue corn tortilla chips as well! .. also not sure the name.. but ask for the tuna roll on a cracker... my gf ordered it for me and it was ahmazingggg!!! :)“
“We Love Bacaro's! We went there thinking it was a wine bar & discovered a whole lot more! They have great foods, wines, impeccable friendly service & ambience! It is because of all those qualities that we chose them to make our wedding & groomsmen cakes (our party was too large for the restaurant). We've brought many friends there to enjoy. They are family owned & run with passion.“
“A great experience for our anniversary. From the host, the server and the manager, they made the experience memorable and beyond the expectations. Overall a great touch to making our milestone enjoyable and worthy of considering Eddie Vs for other future occasions.“
“Absolutely phenomenal mom and pop place serving homemade cajun food. The secret is their cream sauce, which is out of this world. I tried overload and hot topic, both are absolutely fantastic. The place is located inside the convenience store at the gas station. So you don't come here for ambiance but rather for tasty homemade cajun food.“
“We eat out quite frequently, both at home in Lafayette, LA and when we come to Houston for apointments at MD Anderson. Navy Blue is conveniently located in Rice Village. It seems we always eat at the same restaurants when we visit Houston. I wanted to try something different on this trip. I looked up Restaurants nearby and Navy Blue in Rice Village popped up. Reviews were outstanding. I must say it did not disappoint. Crab Cakes were delicious, as well as their Orzo and Biscuits, it is worth the try. Top shelf margaritas with Reposado was one of the best I ever had!!“
“Our party of six enjoyed a wonderful dinner last weekend. The chilled crab claws, oysters and jumbo shrimp on the large seafood platter tasted fresh as expected. Each couple shared an order of crab cake which was all lump crabmeat with very little filler. After these two appetizers we were too full for the second course so we decided to skip it and went for the entrees. We and some other people had the miso-glazed seabass, redfish Pontchartrain and other seafood dishes along with the lobster mashed potatoes and crab fried rice for sides to share. Some of us also had Baked Alaska for dessert. Everything was wonderfully prepared and tasted delicious. The service provided by Ricardo was impeccable and first class. He was very attentive, professional, competent, courteous. We will certainly ask for Ricardo again on our next visit. Gloria was also great in assisting Ricardo. We preferred a round table in a quiet area so we sat in the wine room which is away from the large dining room and the piano music which allowed for better conversation and more privacy as well. We used to go to Truluck’s for lunch a lot during our working days in the Galleria but now it’ll be our favorite go-to seafood place for special dinner with friends or other special occasions. It was nice to see that Truluck’s upscale ambiance, fantastic food and great service haven’t changed and that we could still count on having a great dining experience there.“
“This was our first time coming to crawfish cafe and it was so good! When we arrived, there was a short line and we waited about 5 minutes before being seated. We had the crawfish, garlic noodles, queso and cracklins and fried shrimp and catfish plate. Everything was good and the crawfish was 10/10. I got the kickin Cajun flavor with “spicy” spice level which was really spicy but GOOD! Jennifer was our waiter and she was very welcoming and friendly. She met all of our needs even while training another staff member! Our experience here was excellent and we will return!“
“We have been coming to Gratify for years, always amazing food, drinks, service and vibes! But Stephanie Benitez truly made our experience with the Big Vibe Group memorable! We spoke with her over my birthday brunch and she was so informative, welcoming and sweet! I told her about my family birthday dinner at Coppa Osteria the next night and she ensured she would see us over there as well. She made sure we got everything we wanted, and even hand delivered my short rib ragu pasta from next door!! The customer service and experience is always amazing and she made my birthday dinner special!“
“I’m new to Texas and I had a wonderful experience at Carrabba’s. Not only was the food delicious, Darian made my experience that much better. She was very pleasant and made my friend and I feel welcome. Thank you so much Darian, you ROCK!!!“
“This was my first experience at this location and I’m so happy to have chosen this spot for dinner, my girlfriends & I were greeted by the sweet hostess’s and taken to the bar where we were served by Claudia Fernandez. My girlfriends & I came for steak & cocktails, Claudia was super attentive and always attended to our needs, she was also so bubbly and made us feel so comfortable and enjoyed our food & drinks made by her. Thank you for the espresso martinis & all the cocktails! I will be coming back and mentioning her for our next dinner “
“Tasty food, cozy atmosphere and great service! I'm seriously thinking of going back tonight to try more of the menu. The fried oyster and Brussel sprouts were delicious, and I also had the redfish which was yummy. We also had the shecrab soup which was good, as well as the scallops entrée (with crab and shrimp risotto), which was very, very good but we just wanted more scallops:). Our server was fun and the ambiance was lovely.“
“The shrimp and pork eggroll appetizer was fantastic. The perfect crunch and flavors made it very special. B1 and P2 soups are unforgettable. The pho broth is truly one of the best phos I've ever had. The garlic shrimp noodle is also very tasty. The noodles are perfectly cooked and flavored. My 4 year old loved it. My kids also enjoyed the fried catfish too. We will come back. What a gem of a restaurant!“
“My husband and I are in Houston TX for the first time. We walked past Potente and the building was eye catching so we made a reservation for that evening. We prefer the atmosphere of the lounge, so we dined at a table for 2. There was live music, which added to the environment but you could still hold a conversation. Our service was excellent, from the hostess, to the servers, the wine expert, and the chef (who came out to great us). We would definitely go back! The food was a creole Italian mix and excellent. We had a happy hour beverage the Potente 75, light and refreshing martini. We started with bread service (house made hummus was good, but I would have preferred butter or EVOO). We had the GAMBERETTO for the beginnings, which was an amazing meaty shrimp appetizer. For our mains I had the pasta and added the blue crab for protein source. I do not typically order pasta, but it was light and delicious. The pasta is made in house daily and I didn't suffer from any GI discomfort afterwards (I do not have celiacs but do try to minimize gluten). My husband had the veal chop with morrell mushroom risotto, it was tender and delicious. For dessert we had the TORTA DI MARSALA and a dessert beverage (my hubby's preferred way to enjoy his dessert). We would certainly go back! Excellent date night spot!“
“We have been going to Jim's original Seafood railcar for more than 30 years now, Levi has done his dad proud in continuing this great tradition with a few minor changes along the way. It was so good to see the theme still Texas Coastal fishing memorabilia! Thanks Levi for all you and your team do to keep Goode Co a Houston tradition!“
“I visited Juliet with my best friend for my birthday and I had a great experience. The food was amazing, and the customer service we received from Dwayne at the bar was exceptional! He was very attentive and took great care of us. Thank you, Dwayne!Parking was valet only, just FYI.“
“Small cozy place. And yall the food is to die for. Came here with family for the first time and Kim Shabu did not disappoint! The assortment is big compared to the size of the restaurant. And the sauces ah the sauces ??. Try out their black sesame sauce!!!!Over all had a great time there!Vegetarian options: Pick and choose from a wide verity of mushrooms!“
“I really enjoyed this restaurant. I saw it on IG and it did not disappoint at all! The shaking beef was so good! 10/10. The egg rolls contained pork and shrimp but they also was pretty good. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was clean and inviting. This is def a Houston gem! I normally don’t take the time out to do a review unless it was really great across the board and this place was!“
“Everything was excellent! We had 4 types of oysters from their "Gulf Gems". Really great choices, all with different, distinct tastes. The pickle juice mignonette was a new thing for me. Very nice.We had a variety entrees, served family style. Grilled Gulf Shrimp, Roasted Oysters, Fried Chicken, and Blackened Snapper collars. The Blackened Snapper Collars were fantastic! My favorite.Service was excellent. Our waitperson was attentive without hovering. Food came out as it was completed in the kitchen.I'll be back.“
“The food at Balboa is excellent. I highly recommend the seafood cocktail as a starter. We later enjoyed multiple sushi rolls and a pineapple upside down cake as dessert. Everything was fantastic and we enjoyed the ambience as well. I would absolutely come back here.“
“We are regular customers. Usually everything is consistently good with food and service but today the young lady greeting guests at the host stand was awful. She was probably new and she was not friendly or smiling at all. I can appreciate a new employee but it does not take training to be friendly and smile with people arriving for dinner. I did not get her name but she was the host greeting people Wednesday evening March 6th around 6:00pm.“
“Halal or not, the food here is simply amazing. So far, I tried their roti, Tom yum soup, pad Thai, fried rice, and various curry dishes - everything was amazing and the portions were satisfying. The Tom Yum soup here is superb. I would rate it in my top three for sure. I tend to select a spice level too high for me and regret it in the end, so beware and learn from my mistake! Level 3 out of 5 is perfection. The service during our last visit was outstanding. We celebrated a birthday here and our waiter was very accommodating and nice. Service makes a huge difference in overall experience. Interior is ok. Lots of cultural decorations and murals. Lots of natural lighting. No major wow factor but it's all about the food and service. They have specials on certain days of the week (I think either tTuesday or Thursday), so if you want a deal, something to consider.“
“It's been a while since we've been here and it was just as great as always. Pear truffle salad was outstanding and such a wonderful combination. The lobster bisque is still the best in the world. We tried the cotton candy foie gras which was another fun combination - so delicious! Lamb chops, sea bass, salmon were all outstanding. And of course, we had to have the Souffle! Chocolate soufflé, enough said! Thank you for a great evening.“
“This is clearly a hidden gem in Houston if you're a fan of skewers. I highly recommend this place.Be warned, because everything is so good and the portions are small it's very easy to keep ordering and racking up a bill. This isn't a bad thing, but just be aware.“
“The chelsea is a stylish and quaint lounge-like restaurant serving up tasty bites and delicious cocktails. Their staff is very pleasant and accommodating. The design of the restaurant speaks for itself, with its dim lighting and modern decor. They do the classic cocktails right, with their specialty being martinis. All their food is delicious, particularly their east coast oysters. The beet and whipped feta salad was delicious as well, you must try it. Their happy hour at the bar is one of the best in the city and being open late on the weekends gives time for a night cap in the montrose neighborhood. Love this addition to the collective.Vegetarian options: They had limited veg options, but some“
“I was looking for real gulf catfish and a nice cocktail. So I searched Google and Yelp reviews in my area and found RIAN'S. This eatery more than met my expectations, Rodney was very hospitable and explained their menu offerings very well! A couple of "regulars" came in for a quick drink and we made great conversation about their great experiences at RIAN'S as well. They were just opening and preparing for a busy day, but that did stop them from providing excellent service and food. I had the crawfish dip with the house made chips, catfish and crab fried rice. My drinks were the blueberry lemon drop and their version of a good old fashioned! I'll try their sidecar on my next visit. I heard great things about them! I appreciate the great experience and will be back!“
“We enjoyed a wonderful birthday dinner at Eugene's. The food (stuffed redfish! amazing yams!) and service were outstanding; our server Joseph and the rest of the team took great care of us. The restaurant is attractive, and we were able to enjoy our conversation without having to shout at one another. Thank you for a special evening!“
“This place is so nice...the peicevof the food is worth it...I ordered the fish and shrimp and I couldn't eat it all..im a big eater too...to atmosphere was so soothing. Something I needed....nice place for couples...im single but it was so nice...give them a visit. You won't regret it....specialize in seafood...thanks for the experience....Parking: Street parking is possibly all you will find..dont let that stop you from visiting this business...“
“The food is always great. We love the shrimp and pork spring rolls, the flavor of the boils (shrimp/crawfish) is always good. My other favorites are the chicken banh mi and the chicken fried rice. My husband loves the egg drop soup and the salt and pepper shrimp, my older boy has to have the pho and my little one enjoys the sweet potato fries. He recently got into shrimp so we got the lil fried platter with sweet potato fries, I swiped a fried shrimp and I have to say it was good. The batter has flavor and not too much batter to the big size of the shrimp. The food is packaged well when we do take out that we still enjoy it as if we are at the restaurant, granted it takes us about 5 minutes to and from the restaurant. All in all, definitely recommend this place, fresh food and great flavor in everything we have tried so far.“
“Excellent prices! Excellent service! Always make you feel welcome their service is extra phenomenal! Thank you to Nicole she do an excellent service to us im 100 % recommend this place ! Thank you to Jenny as well ❤?????? Flor “
“My sister and I stopped in for a quick drink and some quesadillas. They were 30 minutes till closing and they still took care of us and let us stay as long as we wanted. Even when I walked in I was greeted and headed to the ladies room, one of the waiters asked me if I was going to the restroom and then sped over to the door to open it for me. Love this place love this location love the staff! I'm from Waco so I plan on stopping back through when I'm back in town!“
“Second time eating here and boy will I be back! I got the duo special witch was 1/2 lb of snow crab and 1/2 lb of shrimp. I got it spicy and with the 7 spice sauce!! That special was 25.99. It came with 3 potatoes and 1 corn. I added a sausage which was delicious! The boudin balls were very delicious!! We also tried the etouffee with shrimp and crawfish. That was good but not as tasty as the boiled food! We will definitely be back to try the crawfish and other dishes.“
“Called in a order for lunch and was meet with a friendly loving voice. Gumbo mama herself took my order and she was so helpful and customer service was excellent. Now, I order the medium Gumbo and a piece of fried fish. The fried fish didn't even make it back to work. Crispy on the outside and nice and fluffy on the inside. Baby that GUMBO was soooooo good. Filled with chicken and shrimp and sausage. Also came with a crab leg too! Really did taste like my grandmothers gumbo. Just because it's on the inside of a gas station don't look past it. It's really a hidden gem.“
“We came here unexpectedly looking for Mexican food by geographic proximity. Service was great, the host - a young man and our wonderfully attentive, kind server Britannia made our patio experience very nice. We were able to take our dog on the patio and they brought water immediately. We enjoyed the food and hubby is particular. He had a combo plate with cheese enchilada, chicken fajita and a crispy taco. He thought the ingredients were good quality and enjoyed his plate. I had green chicken plate. Very good. Great green sauce, lots of white meat chicken and very much to my liking. We would go back even though it is a bit out of our neighborhood.“
