“Incredible quality of absolutely everything. At first, I was shocked they didn’t have any additives (no sugar or syrups) to add to their drinks— but now I get it. The quality of what they serve is so good, you won’t need any. That being said, it’s definitely not your average coffee shop—more for specialty single origins and unique offerings. The uji matcha is the absolute best and it’s the only matcha I’ll drink with no sugar added. The place is nicely decorated with beautiful plants and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for quality that is unmatched.“

“I’m not going to lie. I was iffy on the concept of an outdoor cookie shop — in this Texas heat, I think not!

In this instance, I was gladly proven wrong. My experience at Milk and Cookies really blew me away. The chocolate chip cookies was to die for, the ambiance Pinterest worthy, and not going to lie, there was something about ending my day outside with a warm cookie that made the experience magical.

It was a 9/10 experience that will have me going back the next time I crave a sweet treat; the only thing that could have made it better was if my milk was a little bit more cold when served lol, and if they had a little bit more seating. Truly think they can either fit a picnic table or 1-2 more mini tables in the lawn area.

Tip: I have a couple. First, as the name suggests, you can literally order a glass of milk alongside your cookies. I’d recommend you do this to tie the experience together. As well, I’d visit when the sun is going down. It honestly wasn’t too hot around 6pm but peak TX heat can be brutal. Be careful out there. Finally, Milk & Cookies can be a cute way to end your date with a little sweet treat, js!“

I inquired about the happy hour, which they no longer have, but my server was kind enough to still honor the deal since they silently discontinued the deal without announcing it on social media. We got the Rolls-Royce martini and best seller classic cocktail evergreen (original price $16 each, but we got them for $8 each)! Both tasted clean and strong. Out of all the Common Bond locations I’ve been to (and trust me, I’m a Common Bond crackhead 😂), Anthony is hands-down the best employee I’ve ever met. Every time I come in, he greets me with the biggest smile and the most positive attitude — it's like instant good vibes.

He’s genuinely sweet, always gets my order right, and even remembers my name (which is rare these days!). We even have nicknames for each other — if you see this Ant, it’s Meme! 🫶🏽 Coming here just to see him makes my whole day.

“Ninja Matcha is a great stop for matcha lovers! They have a great selection for matcha and hojicha drinks and desserts.
I really like matcha desserts that aren't leaning too vanilla or sweet. I love that they offer 4 levels of matcha ice cream, which you can get 1-2 scoops or in a small/large pint. You can also add in toppings, I like adding oreos chunks!
I got a level 3 this time, and it's slightly sweet with a great tea flavor.

The staff ate friendly and the place is spacious and clean. They have tons of seating, and a long bench incase you have a large group. Great place to study due to its chill atmosphere or chat with friends!“
