McDonald's in Houston

“Just want to leave a comment about the young lady at the window that handed me my food and ketchup. I don’t know her name. She had pretty nails and a gold ring and bracelet on…it was 12:45 am Sunday night. (Oops Monday already) June 28/29 :)
She was super sweet and courteous! I went to many other places this weekend and customer service has really declined. So it was refreshing to see someone friendly with a smile.

“One thing I liked the most in this place is the ambiance. Maybe its just a nostalgic feeling cuz I used to go here with my friends a lot but yeah it just hits different. The food is still great, the place is still well kept and tidy, and the staffs are nice. Definitely will comeback for more burgers soon. Great job!“

“The lady at the payment window was so kind! My receipt clearly showed exactly what I had requested. Unfortunately, when I received my order, the burgers were not made correctly. I went back to let them know, and the same lady who had taken my payment was incredibly nice and helpful. She immediately took care of the issue and made sure I received the correct burgers. She was very friendly and professional, she deserves recognition!“

“Five stars all the way amazing food very friendly staff only one thing wrong. They get the food wrong but it is very rare. Orteza (sorry if I butchered the spelling) at the front counter was extremely busy and had noticed I had been waiting for my order for a minute. She asked to see my receipt and promptly grabbed my order in the back. This all without me saying a word. Apparently, they were just waiting on bacon. I told her she was a Rockstar and the whole crew killed it!
I will go back to this McDonald's again just because if my impression!

“This is a solid location. Fries are hot 8/10 times, sandwiches consistent, and ice cream machine usually working!! Friendly staff in my experiences and I live nearby so I come here often. With the amount they put up with. These people deserve a raise.“

“The food would have been really good if it did come out cold, we ordered the McRib combo and the double cheeseburger combo. Fries were cooked in old grease and was not fresh at all, very hard. The customer service was pretty good, fast service and very pleasant and prompt when ordering. The location is very accessible, not to much of a hard time locating and getting in. The store was clean and neat.“

“Probably the 2nd best McDonald's I have ever been to. I visited this location for over a year, and it is extremely consistent when it comes to serving fresh food. Whether it was dine-in, delivery, or drive-thru. The employees were always considerate and kind. No matter what time of day, the fries, burger, shakes, and nuggets taste like they actually tried to prepare and serve the product as it is described in commercials and ads. Even with complex and customized orders, this crew does not fail it get it right!“

“Great Location , I shop at Walmart...tough customers tho .Sometimes rowdy and rude ,I know the people are sometimes unhappy before they even order.I read the feedback I think the people who work there should be getting higher feedback scores and some love and 🙏 respect“

“The food here is 98% of thr time super fast. Now I'm giving 5 stars because normally people at the window are not the most welcoming 🤣 i guess cuz is late at night and they just want to get their shift done, but the young man who took my order and took thr payment was super calm and curtious and repeated my order to make sure that it was right. “This one has a play place inside which was great for the children. There were no long lines and our food didn't take long to be prepared. Our order was made wrong so I had to go back to the front to get it replaced, but the staff quickly remade it with no issues. Bathrooms were clean. Overall good experience, what you would generally expect at a McDonalds thats running properly.“

“Exceptionally busy area with wonderful service. My car broke down. I bought an ice cream while I was waiting for a tow truck. I was still waiting when the next shift showed up. One of the workers checked one, and when I explained the situation they offered me a second ice cream out of sympathy. It was very sweet of them on this exceptionally hot day.“

“I was very disappointed, I was ordering when a homeless man came in crying just asking if he could have anything to eat he because he was very hungry,the Manager there Naomi looked at the man with a mean look and said no,It was so sad to see,I wanted to cry.“

“Usually they're good and get my orders correctly but today I went and I asked for extra mayonnaise and an extra Patty and they had no mayonnaise and instead of give me an extra Patty they gave me an extra burger and I think I was charged for that full price instead of the single Patty. I'm not sure what happened this time but usually they get everything right even though it's always busy and my lunch time they still keep the line flowing inside and drive through which is why I give them 5 Stars still. The Hispanic lady and the second window kind of rushed me to wait at the waiting window at the very front even though I had a question to ask shekinah shut me down not give me the chance to ask her about a receipt. Other then that this McDonald's is good.“

“every time I come here, they are extremely busy, because they’re connected to a Walmart and probably understaffed. I have worked in the food industry before, and they display the perfect amount of professionalism, friendliness, teamwork, so my order is always correct. Even with a toddler at my hip and a lot going on in my life I still check the bag before I leave because I’m not an idiot. Mistakes happen whenever it’s always busy, but they’ve never got my order wrong even my complicated toddler&coffee order has always been correct. They don’t serve espresso in the coffees like I want. But other than that, I can always find a clean table. Lot of customers standing around thinking that that makes them get their order faster and yet refusing to check their bag at a table before they leave. I feel for these workers because I see them rushing so much, like they must be understaffed. And the kitchen looks so small from the front. Yet they always have a willingness to help and don’t give me trouble when my toddler is being a butt. I always have him in my arms because I don’t let my children run around like a parent who wants them kidnapped. there is no play area here. But on days where you have to go shopping, you should be fine with that. And if there was a play area these poor people would have way more to do. And if there was a play area, then there would probably be more parents letting their kids run around like crazy people. They need more people and they need a raise for all that they do. i’m actually sitting in the parking lot waiting for them to open because they are amazing.“

“Food is usually fresh, staff needs to get it together some are a bit rude but maybe it's the time of day I usually walk in there at about 6am.

I can't stand seeing the person that sleeps outside of the door that's not okay!“

When i came in the place looks so clean, the staf looks so freindly, then they took a order very fast and it was so cheap like 5.81$ two sandwiches and one drink.
And right away after i paid the food was ready like this store i think its how Mc donald was suppost to be very fast.

“Pretty long wait to pick up a (simple) mobile order in the drive through even though it wasn't a busy time of day... wish they'd reserve the outer lane for mobile only. Food was hot and cheap, though. (If you're not using a deal from the app when you order, you're overpaying.)“

“Came through the drive through at this location in Alief and I didnt have high expectations because of the location. Ordered a #2 Sausage mcMuffin combo. He upsold me correctly, got the order fresh and correct but the highlight was the African looking lady who I found was a Columbian lady named Elena! How wonderful her personality was! “My wife and come here to this McDonald's everyday, literally everyday for over a year since moving to this side of town. The staff is just as friendly,welcoming and energetic today as they were the first day we came in. We only ever had to wait for our order longer than 5 to 10 minutes maybe twice only because it was packed on those days. We haven't ever had to send any order back to be remade and the staff frequently pass by to check on you almost no different than a casual dinning restaurant. Overall my favorite McDonald's if I could rate it higher I would.“

“I used the drive thru and service was fast and prompt. I was very disappointed to see that my fries were turned sideways in the bag and therefore in direct contact with the ketchup packets (not requested) that were in the bag. That's cross contamination allowing food in contact with packets that were in someone's bare hands. I ate my nuggets but tossed the fries which appeared to have been over cooked at they appeared rather crunchy. Lesson learned there. My experience was not the best but you might have better luck..“

“It's a McDonald's. You can't expect much. I went there to try the big Arch Burger and it was surprisingly good. Service was also surprisingly good. “The location at 646 and I-45 League City has superlative service. If all McDs were ran like this, They'd probably double their revenue. It's a rarity that during early breakfast times to take more than 2 minutes from app order to pulling away.“
