“Hands down, the best pho you’ll find in Seattle! This place is killing it! I’m incredibly lucky to live in the neighborhood and I’ve been coming here since the day they opened. We were one of their first guests in those early days and eat here so much the owners know me by name! If I were qualified to give food awards, this place would win my 2024 Best of Seattle award! 🥇👏🏻✨ Ps. They do not accept reservations - it’s first come first serve. Around 6pm, they go on a waitlist and a line starts to form outside. Don’t bother calling to get on the waitlist - they won’t even do that for me! You have to show up in person to get on the list.“

“10/9/2021 Recommend? Yes. I arrived right after they open with my luggage because I was starving from my long train ride in from Whitefish, MT. The server was super nice. He got me hot tea and banh cam to settle in with. I ordered bo bia (autumn rolls), vegan pho, and roasted pork banh mi (to go). The banh cam had a thick dough and it was huge. Two of those could've been a whole meal. Everything I ordered was delicious and they were so kind! My favorite was definitely the banh mi. It was even good after I had refridgerated it. The best part was the vegan butter and vegan pate. I absolutely loved it, best vegan banh mi I've had.“

“Very happy that we went to this restaurant for our pho cravings! The location is (sadly) a bit dodgy but once you are inside you will be greeted by the lovely staff. Pho tasted like my mom‘s: cooked with a lot of love. 💕 if you are around this area you should definitely try this place! Highly recommended 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“I stopped by here for some quick food before a Seahawks game, and I was incredibly surprised by how good this place was
I got the Grilled Pork Bahn Mi, and what surprised me the most was how cheap it was. Compared to how expensive everything around me was, the fact that I could get this for as low as $10 instantly drew my eye. Considering this price, I honestly wasn't expecting much, but this actually turned out very good
I've had a bunch of pork bahn mi's in the past, and this definitely ranks up there as one of the best.
The baguette is super crispy on the outside, yet it didn't feel chewy or hard to get through like you'd often feel with bread that is too hard. Despite the crispiness it was still not too difficult to bite through and get through both sides of the sandwich
I loved the amount of mayo slathered across both sides of this. When making a sandwich like this, sauce is exceedingly important because the risk of making the sandwich feel dry is high. However, in this case, it added to the flavor a lot
The vegetables as a part of this were really good too
The highlight of this sandwich was the pork. It was in relatively large circular pieces scattered throughout, and was abundant throughut the sandwich. This pork was cooked really well, super fatty and flavorful, and you could tell it was recently grilled because of the char marks on the outside - which just added to that grill flavor. It was fantastic
For the price, you really can't beat how good this was, and it was pretty filling as well
Overall, a tiny place that offers an incredibly good version of this classic sandwich. 9/10“

“Old Saigon is a hidden gem with great food and friendly service. The pho was flavorful and satisfying, and the banh mi was just as good—fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. The complimentary hot jasmine tea was a nice touch, especially on a chilly day. The staff were warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Plus, they offer a punch card for a free pho after several visits, which is a great bonus. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area!
Also as always the egg rolls are super good.“

“Billiard Hoang is a rare spot in Seattle where the quality and quantity of the meal was well worth the reasonable price. The space inside won't win any awards, but it was casual, relaxed and had pool tables if you want to play. The menu isn't the largest I've seen in the city for Pho, etc but it had more than enough to satisfy most people. The food we received was absolutely delicious - among the best Vietnamese fare I've had in the Seattle area. Absolutely will be back!“

“The black sesame foam for the Gloomy Matcha has me in a chokehold…. I tried recreating it at home, but it comes nowhere near as close to what you can get here. I came right at opening time before my flight took off because I just had to get another Gloomy Matcha 😂 it’s THAT good. Wish we had an Aroom on the east coast 😭
Right down the street is a bakery, which is so nice! Come to Aroom for your morning coffee/matcha, then head to Sea Wolf for some bread.“

“We ended up here at 5:20pm Sunday afternoon after we were at another place where the fire alarms went off before we ordered. This place was small but had 75% of their tables occupied. We were seated right away. The waitress was very prompt and friendly. The food was a little more expensive compared to the restaurant we left. $8.50 for two summer rolls cut into four pieces, $7.50 for two small eggrolls. But...the food was so good!! And it came out quickly. We ordered two noodle soups, one with the spicy broth, chicken curry with rice, two orders of rice dishes with beef short ribs, chicken wings, summer rolls and eggrolls. I can attest to my soup only, and it was perfect. My kids finished every last bit of their rice and short ribs. My 10 year old ate a good portion of the chicken curry but it might have been on the spicy side for him, and he's an adventurous eater. Hubby loved his spicy broth soup. Portions were good.“

“These guys are the real deal.
A lot of places in town don't simmer their beef all the way. A lot of places in town make up for medium-quality fundamentals by adding a bunch of ground seasonings that make the broth grainy when you're almost done.
Not this place. Perfect beef texture that tells you in no uncertain terms that they simmered it perfectly. Lovers of not only pho but also Chicago style Italian beef sandwiches will understand and appreciate this. And no shortcuts to flavor - the texture and composition of the broth at the bottom of the bowl as I raised the bowl to drink the last drops told me that.
Do yourself a favor and try a bowl.“

“Best bahn mi in Seattle. I’m a big fan for bahn mi (thus have high standards for one) and I crave them a few times a month. Had tried a couple of places in Seattle, Belltown, UDstrict and west Seattle, but they rarely meet my expectations.
This place is my go to! The pork Vietnamese sandwich tasted just right with the traditional topping and paste. The baguette is also perfect. Everything is done the right way.
Also for $11, it was very affordable and easy to grab for lunch when working remotely (i used to live near the store)“

“Great food but very poorly staffed and not the best service. Waited 40 minutes for two bowls of noodles and the steam rice cakes. Waited 15 min after being seated for water.
When the food did come, it was delicious though.“

“I’ve eaten at almost every pho shop in the northwest and this is definitely one of the best ones I’ve been to.
Probably the top two!
The broth is so good and intense. I always get the steak of brisket with steak on the side and I like to cook it myself.
I also like the self serve condiment bar because I absolutely love plenty of basil, lime, and sprouts. And they also have cilantro, which made me very happy.
Will definitely be back many times if I can Help it!“

“Finally a place that serves more unique Vietnamese dishes beyond the more commonly known pho, rice noodle bowls and fresh rolls! Love that I can get Bun cha Ha Noi, Bahn Beo and Banh Cuon! Atmosphere is simple and I wouldn’t give the service 5 stars, but I didn’t go there expecting perfection in these areas. I went for the food, and it is solid! Definitely a place to come if you’re wanting to try some new Vietnamese dishes you can’t find elsewhere.“

“I had a fantastic experience at this pho restaurant! The large bowl of pho was just \\$16, and it was worth every penny. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the portion of meat was generous—tender slices of beef that were cooked perfectly and filled every bite. The noodles were fresh and perfectly cooked, and the fresh herbs and toppings added great balance to the dish. It’s clear they care about quality and flavor here. On top of that, the service was excellent—attentive without being intrusive. Our server made sure we had everything we needed and checked in just the right amount. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a relaxed atmosphere. I left feeling full, happy, and already planning to come back. If you're looking for a great bowl of pho with great value and service, this is definitely the spot. Highly recommend!“

“I’ve had sandwiches all across this beautiful country and let me tell you, there may be no better value than Tan Dinh Deli. In an era of $20 bowls and $18 lunch specials, Tan Dinh offers the best bang for the buck I’ve come across in my adventures. Packed with chewy sweet meat (pause) and crisp pickled veggies, I love this Bahn Mi.
$6.50 pre tip (tip well please)“

“We ordered beef pho and bun. Both were well made and flavorful. The pho was a little on the salty side but otherwise tasty. The presentation of the food was excellent. “Excellent. I got the combo vermicelli bowl, and it was full of fresh and pickled veggies and greens, the noodles were done just right, and the amount of meat was very generous. I'm happy, will be back!
I got takeout and I really liked their compostable cardboard round box, it kept the food well and looked like it was the least bad option for the environment. I was impressed!“

“This place was heaven sent. We wanted to try out another restaurant that was closed for lunch and we found this accidentally and happy we did. The pork chops were tender the white rice was flavorful and the spring rolls were fried to perfection. The steak was flavorful and cooked medium just the way I like it. “I wish we had gotten our server’s name because he was the best! We came here from out of town & the server kindly allowed us to come inside ten minutes before opening. When we got inside, he explained and recommended different items from the menu. He also went further and explained the culture behind some of the food. It was a very welcoming and delicious experience. Highly recommend to anyone living or visiting in the area! I tried the mussel and scallops because we don’t have much seafood choices in Arizona!“

“We have lived in several places and have tried lots of places here and elsewhere that sold banh mi sandwiches but these are the best banh mi sandwiches we have had! We think they might make their own buns because they are so very tasty and just as good as the fresh baguettes we had when we lived in France! The sandwich ingredients are fresh and flavorful and we especially love the wonderful paté they include on them, unless you tell them you are vegetarian or vegan. They make the paté themselves and it is also as delicious as any we used to have in France! We like their rice bowls too. If you haven’t been to the “Toast Mi”…located in Lacey…we highly recommend seeking it out and giving it a try. If you like banh mi sandwiches, you will be happy that you did!“

If you’re craving a warm, flavorful bowl of pho, Island Pho on Mercer Island is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.

Whether you go for the classic beef combo or the tender brisket, each bowl is packed with generous portions of meat, fresh herbs, and perfectly cooked noodles.
