“After having been to Driftwood twelve times I can confidently say it’s the only restaurant in Seattle worth dining at. Lots of places make claims about freshness and local ingredients, but chef Dan Mallahan shops at the Farmers Market two days a week. It’s not a joke or a gimmick. If you want to eat food grown exclusively in Washington State, that tastes real, then Driftwood is the spot. They serve tomatoes that actually have flavor, delicious veggie dishes, and meat and fish that are tender and juicy. They combine so many flavors in a subtle harmony making each bite you take delightful. Not to mention the killer cocktails. The vibe is beautiful but chill. The staff are lovely and kind. Everything about Driftwood is real. The food, the people, even the hand towels in the bathroom. Concerned about prices at a farm-to-table restaurant and getting enough to eat? Go with a friend and share two starters and a main. For example, I just had the Olsen Farm Kennebec JoJos, the Piece by Piece Farm Tempura Delicata squash, and the Butcher’s Cut Pork Chop. Yum!“

“The atmosphere is superb! I love the heathy option. Remember your input matters. You cannot expect same output (outcome) when you are putting bad inputs. Self-care by eating healthy food option. This is a place for those who take their body seriously. The staffs tend to be busy but it is worth the wait. I can see that they really do care about the food and its service. Btw I even saw @spencerhawes NBA player order here. Which means foods are good here. Sport players know what tastes good! Come and taste!“

“Great Service! Was welcomed immediately by bartender Dawn. Very charming and excellent explaining oyster selections. She kept on top of my orders. The happy hour choice of oyster was beyond what I expected! Big, ytasty. I’m a very picky oyster-ess! St. Louis, Mo. is not known for seafood AT ALL. Expensive and just “blah.” Definitely coming back and recommending to oyster loving friends!“

“Absolutely charming little spot serving fresh, perfectly seasoned dishes that are sure to please. Excellent and knowledgeable staff can make recommendations from the ever-changing menu based on your tastes, and it's easy to have almost any dish modified to be vegetarian or vegan. Perusing the tasting notes on the wine wall is a nice way to pass the time - great prices on the take-home bottles. If you're on a budget (and I usually am), grab a snack or two. Otherwise, try a little of everything!“

“This is a superb bar. The drinks are made by a very friendly and knowledgeable staff who care about what they’re making as well as caring for the community and regulars who sit at their bar. This place is a masterclass in what cocktail bars should be. Also stop stealing the menus?“

“Amazing cocktail bar focused on the wide variety inherent in Amari - think things like Aperol and Campari and Montenegro and Averna and many many others, each unique, with a few loose styles. Jeff the bartender uses his encyclopedic knowledge of the range of Amari to craft inventive cocktails. Even if you aren’t normally a bitter palate person give it a go.“

“Went to Sunfish a couple days ago after watching a video rating it as the #1 fish and chips place in Seattle. Didn't disappoint! The gentleman who waited on me was polite and charming. The fish was the best I've had...light on breading, moist and flavorful. We went to Spuds the next day and no comparison! Sunfish was much better!“

“Little Chinhook’s is such a gem. Fresh fish (and great tartar sauce), friendly service, and a fun location, what more could you ask for. They lean into their fish offerings (halibut, two types of cod, salmon, and more), so if you are interested in trying a couple options, you can add a different fish to your existing meal or order à la carte. Coming here is always a treat!“

“I never leave reviews but the dinner and service at The Garrison is outstanding! They have a newly expanded menu that was hard to choose from. Everything looked amazing… and it was! We got to eat in the newly remodeled back room that is absolutely stunning! The other noteworthy mention is the presentation of all of our dishes were thoughtful and very beautifully put together. Overall, love this addition to our Ballard neighborhood. Can’t wait to try brunch!“

“We were dining for dinner as a party of eight. The staff greeted us warmly at the door and immediately seated us at a perfect size round table for our group. Omar was our waiter and we couldn't have had better service. He was such a delight and absolutely superb at his job. He was assisted by many others who all were very friendly and professional. We started with cocktails and calamari appetizers. I've yet to find another restaurant in all my travels that makes better calamari. Everyone at the table was pleased with their delicious steaks, salads, and brussels sprouts - another side dish that Capital Grille has mastered. The management at this location should be applauded. We definitely will be returning!!“

“I recently tried Qiao Lin and went with the Golden Cow Platter along with a few other meat options. One important tip — don’t underestimate how much meat you’re getting! The portions are definitely generous, so I’d recommend ordering a little at first before piling on extras, or you might end up with more than you can finish.
The quality of the meat was solid — fresh and flavorful — and the dipping sauces complemented everything well. There are other snack/appetizers too near the sauce bar that you must try!
Overall, had a fun experience and would come back.“

“I've been to Migoto a few times with my husband and we have consistently enjoyed my experiences. The atmosphere is super cozy and the service is friendly and attentive. Every roll and dish I've had has been good, with the Samurai and Caterpillar rolls being standouts. The Japanese cocktails are also a highlight, especially the Lady Apple made with nigiri - definitely worth trying. We will definitely keep returning.“

“The dim-sum was excellent, reminiscent of the old NYC Chinatown. You order it from an iPad and they bring it to the table. I must say, that I wasn’t impressed with the beef chow fun with gravy. It was too sweet and the noodles were rehydrated from a package, not freshly made. Would I go there again, absolutely, for the dim-sum.“

“Frank's is my favorite place in town to get oysters on the half-shell. The vibe is warm, relaxed, and welcoming. The bread with ash butter and sea salt is a favorite. The oysters are fresh, plump, and succulent. The champagne mignonette is flavorful and delicate so as not to outdo the oysters. We tried a seasonal dessert: nectarine, rose, and pistachio pavlova. Everything is delicious. Finally, the service is impeccable. We always feel special when we are here and we can't wait to visit again soon!“

“Vinnie’s Wine Shop is a hidden gem and one of my favorite spots to unwind on the weekend. It’s a small, cozy place with a laid-back vibe that instantly makes you feel at home. The wine selection is fantastic — they offer a wide variety from around the world, with something for every taste and budget. Whether you're a wine newbie or a seasoned enthusiast, the staff is super knowledgeable and always ready to help you find the perfect bottle or glass.
One of the best things about Vinnie’s is their Sunday oyster special — fresh oysters for only $2 each! Pair them with a crisp white wine or a sparkling rosé, and it’s honestly one of the best ways to spend a Sunday afternoon. The oysters are always fresh and beautifully served.
That said, there are a couple of things to be aware of: they automatically add a 20% gratuity to the bill without telling you, and there’s an extra $3 fee if you pay with a credit card. It makes sense in a way — it probably helps them offer the oyster deal — but it would be better if they were more upfront about it.
Still, the experience is worth it for the quality and cozy vibe.“

“Ordered the green curry with tofu and the fried whole pompano. Both dishes were a hit! Fragrant creamy curry with vegetables cooked soft paired amazing with the white jasmine rice. Notably the dipping sauce with the fried fish was delicious. Definitely rich Thai umami. Recommend stopping here after visiting Space Needle or Mopop as they are both walking distance from here. 18% tip is pre-included into the bill.“

“This has always been my time favorite restaurant in Seattle! I love that I can order some fish tacos or tortas to-go, especially in the summer when it’s just so pleasant to eat outside. I love the fusion of Mexican, Asian, and Pacific Islander cultures in the food because it represents the cultures in Seattle, especially south end.“

“I made a quick pit stop here for lunch. I had the roasted chicken sandwich. It was great. The Ceasar salad that came with the sandwich was ok. I started the meal with the deviled eggs which were good. Service was great and I'd come back on a return visit to try other things.“

“They had a 2 for $4.99 deal on spam musubi, which is exactly what I needed at 10:30pm on a Thursday night. Salty and sweet from the teriyaki glaze on the spam, it was great. It’s a nice place to hang out, with a couple retro game consoles to play. I will definitely be coming back to try their ramen and rice bowls too. Being just a few steps away from the light rail stop is very convenient.“
