This is a place for those who take their body seriously. The staffs tend to be busy but it is worth the wait. I can see that they really do care about the food and its service. Btw I even saw @spencerhawes NBA player order here. Which means foods are good here. Sport players know what tastes good! Come and taste!“

“After having been to Driftwood twelve times I can confidently say it’s the only restaurant in Seattle worth dining at.  Lots of places make claims about freshness and local ingredients, but chef Dan Mallahan shops at the Farmers Market two days a week. It’s not a joke or a gimmick. If you want to eat food grown exclusively in Washington State, that tastes real, then Driftwood is the spot. They serve tomatoes that actually have flavor, delicious veggie dishes, and meat and fish that are tender and juicy. They combine so many flavors in a subtle harmony making each bite you take delightful. Not to mention the killer cocktails.  The vibe is beautiful but chill. The staff are lovely and kind. Everything about Driftwood is real. The food, the people, even the hand towels in the bathroom.  Concerned about prices at a farm-to-table restaurant and getting enough to eat? Go with a friend and share two starters and a main. For example, I just had the Olsen Farm Kennebec JoJos, the Piece by Piece Farm Tempura Delicata squash, and the Butcher’s Cut Pork Chop. Yum!“

The happy hour choice of oyster was beyond what I expected! Big, ytasty. I’m a very picky oyster-ess! St. Louis, Mo. is not known for seafood AT ALL. Expensive and just “blah.” Definitely coming back and recommending to oyster loving friends!“

“Aqua el Goucho James Bushart, General Manager, warmly greeted us as we stepped into his incredible restaurant. He went out of his way to ensure our small group had a memorable experience, from the perfect table, to the numerous great recommendations on the menu. It was refreshing to watch the kitchen staff laugh and enjoy preparing meals. A sign of a great restaurant is a happy, cohesive staff. Our waitress, Natalie, was a joy. Such a sparkling personality and very, very attentive. She ensured everything was perfect. Their Sommelier, Jim, did not disappoint. His wine list is outstanding and featured several very hard to find varietals that we anxiously tried. The food was prepared perfectly; everything was simply over the top! Our group tried a variety from the menu, delicious seafood, steak, and tasty sides. The sea bass, lobster, salmon, scallops were fabulous and left you wanting more. And, the steaks were delicious - prepared perfect. Side dishes were magnificent with the same attention to detail as the main courses, incredible. If you ever get the opportunity to dine at this fine establishment, ask about the Copper River Salmon. Chef prepares this wonderful fish to perfection! We look forward to dining here again on our next trip through Seattle. Huge thanks to the entire Aqua el Goucho Team for a great dining experience!“

“Growing up in North Seattle this was a great place to grab lunch and now decades later and having moved away this is always a stop on my visits- great chowder, solid fish especially the salmon and what flies under the radar is the coleslaw which is oil based and not gross mayo based. “Everything was absolutely amazing. From parking which is a short walk to the restaurant and validated so you only pay $5, to the service which Zach was amazing at. The manager Steve said hi as well to greet us a Happy Anniversary which was nice. Food was absolutely impeccable. We had the Restaurant Week option and got the 8oz Filet Mignon, Mashed potatoes, creamy spinach, cup of lobster bisque, wedge salad and the cheesecake and dark espresso cake. I have to say it was all 10/10, delicious and perfectly timed. Ambiance was nice and classy.“

“Had a hankering Sunday evening for an elite Lobstah Roll while in Newport, RI so I did a lil internet searching and Luke's was consistently at the top of the list. Checked out their menu online and saw they offered a Lobster Roll flight! SOLD! Off I went to find parking and get an order ASAP. Found Luke's on the corner on the Wharf and got to ordering with a quickness. Lobster Roll Sampler with three 2 oz half-rolls: lemon butter, spicy honey butter, and truffle butter w/ chips and a soft drink. Choice of Sea Salt or Sea Salt and Vinegar Kettle Chips, and choice of beverage. I got the Sea Salt and Vinegar (duh) and Blueberry Lemonade in a glass bottle. The lobster in their rolls comes cold, but for a $1 upcharge, you can get it warm, which is my preference. I also got an affordably priced Poppy Seed Slaw. Folks - these Lobster Rolls deserve top billing on "Best Of" lists. My fav might have been the truffle butter lobster roll. It adds something I never knew a lobster roll was missing, but they were all delectable. The roll makes the roll, though. Buttery sourdough with the perfect thin layer of crisp. All flavors were well-balanced and left me wanting more, even though it was plenty food to make a satisfying meal with maybe/maybe not room for dessert. I honestly didn't get any dessert nearby because I didn't want to lose the taste of what I just had! The Poppy Slaw was different, but in a good, not-too-different way. It was a little on the dryer side for my liking, but I liked it just the same. I am sorry to other local Lobster Roll vendors because I don't think I'll try anywhere new on my next visit. It'll be Luke's, no doubt. I might even make a special trip just for the rolls sooner rather than later, but that time I will try the chowder too!“

“I will definitely recommend Happy Crab. Was invited to Happy Crab for casual business lunch today. When I first see its Signature name, I knew it couldn’t be wrong. I love their decoration and sea views. Very romantic and elegant restaurant. The food was served quick and all flavors are delicious as well as creative. It is lucky to get the chance to meet the owner Lily, she has great personality. Great smile, being honest & adorable. “My daughter and I were there Jan. 3 around 1pm. We ordered the Alaskan wild fish and chips with mango habanero sauce and the shrimp basket with ol’bay aioli. We didn’t wait for our food long and there were plenty of tables. The food was absolutely superb and the portions were literally perfect! 🧑‍🍳 💋 We left the armory extremely satisfied and still thinking about our meal! “My husband and I had the bacon burger, fries, onion rings, and chocolate-peanut butter milkshakes. Everything was FANTASTIC! The burger sauce was amazing, it's smokey instead of tangy, and really went well with the bacon and grilled onion on the burgers. The fries were really crunchy and well-seasoned, and the milkshake was make with real ice cream. The guy in the kitchen came out and I complimented his burger sauce, so he gave me a couple of small containers to take home with me! I don't make it to this area often, but I am absolutely coming back here the next time I do.“

“As a hotel-affiliated bar, it completely lowers the brand image. Traditional Western food is not well done, and fusion is also a mess. The appetizer should be refreshing and creative, but unfortunately I don't buy this tuna taco. The taco part is like a sesame crisp with too much sugar, which is very sticky. Another steamed clams is very salty, not fresh, not fragrant, and not paired with bread. The main course is shocking! Don't make the halibut too old, and it has no taste! It feels like I can do it (a disparagement of the restaurant) pp spicy review: The fish is like the top student of the Group Project, and it has played its own level, so it will only feel average. But the rice is carried away in it, and it is even better. The best part of my seafood ragu is the garlic butter bread. The quality of the fish is good, and the scallops are tender and big. But the tomato sauce is completely uncreative, salty and ordinary The baked brulee cheesecake with too much vanilla extract is suffocating, and the caramel crispy crust on top completely suppresses the mellow cheese flavor. The chocolate mousse was rich and delicious, but the milk-like stuff on the top had some grains and was not stirred well. No next time!“

“If you can snag a reservation here, do it — but honestly, even if you can’t, they hold a few tables each night for walk-ins, and it’s so worth the wait. The Pink Door is one of those rare places that’s somehow both trendy and timeless. Every corner feels thoughtfully curated — chic, eclectic, and a little bit artsy — and when the live music starts, it’s pure magic. We were lucky enough to be seated in the back dining room overlooking the Ferris wheel and the Salish Sea, and the view alone could’ve made the night. But then came the food — and wow. From the appetizers to the pappardelle pasta and rabbit (plus alllll the bread), everything was beyond delicious. Huge shoutout to our server, Jeannie, who was amazing — warm, attentive, and clearly loves what she does. We left already planning our next visit. This place is beautiful, delicious, and full of charm. We’ll definitely be back!“

“There's a beautiful mural on the outside of the building. The company owns commercial fishing ships that fish the waters of Alaska for much of the year. Fish payload is offloaded in Alaska and the ships do not return until winter. This allows the docks to also be used for loading passengers on cruise ships. Otherwise, the area is not open to the public.“
