Everything was great as usual, but I have to say the loud music turn me off so badly. Wasn’t that way before. I don’t know if I can come back and eat in. But this is what this seems to be now let’s turn the music up so loud people can’t think much less have a conversation if their withsomeone or hear what someone says to them on their cell phone. I asked if they would mind turning it down and they were going to,but somehow never happened.”

We were there during Arizona restaurant week and took advantage of the menu offered. Absolutely delicious Burrata and little gem salad, fresh tasty halibut, and the polenta was so scrumptious! The short ribs were lean, flavorful and delicious.  We will be back again soon! ”

CHRIS stands out his customer service is exceptional, he is all that goes in to an exceptional customer service when working with customers. The woodworking craftsmanship of the booth seating, walls, and ceiling were awesome! Even the bathroom was stunning.
We did the build your own coffee drinks and had the bacon champagne deviled eggs, the farmhouse plate, and the caprese. All of it was delicious!

“This was my first experience eating Ethiopian food, and it was fantastic! The menu offers extensive options for vegans and those who prefer healthy foods. My date ordered the vegan combo, and I particularly enjoyed the carrots in the atikilt wot—they were sweet in the best possible way. I ordered the Doro Wat, which was savory and spicy. The injera, a bread that is like a cross between a tortilla and a pancake, was unique and delicious. They serve a variety of drinks, including Mexican Fanta, Sprite, Diet Coke, Coke, and Pepsi. Their traditional tea with honey and ginger was also soothing and a perfect complement to the meal. There's a full-service bar as well. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, with entire tables of families chatting amongst each other. Every month, usually around an Ethiopian Holy Day, there is a buffet. If you're unsure of what Ethiopian food to try, I recommend starting with the buffet. I will definitely dine here again, especially for breakfast, which I just missed this time! Next time, I'll be ordering the kwanta firfir and scrambled eggs for breakfast—it has my name on it!”

The inside is quite large and about half of the restaurant was occupied. There were customers constantly entering as well. Options are great and well priced. Banchan is tasty and it's the only Korean place in AZ offering anchovies as well which was great. Ramune soda for the kids, another one the other K restaurants don't typically have. Priced just right, will be back!”

Got suggestions of what to try from the owner & her daughter-in-law, believe me, they were not wrong. We had goulash & cabbage rolls, both came with homemade mashed potatoes & freshly made pita bread. EXCELLENT, like walking into my mom's kitchen because you could tell the recipes had been lovingly perfected. So tender. So flavorful. A pure delight that that I can't wait to experience again. We also had 2 desserts that were wonderful. Unfortunately, I can't remember what they were called. One was like a napoleon, the other a nut-filled crescent. They came out to check on us to make sure everything was satisfactory & treated us very kindly. You will not leave here disappointed, of that I am sure.”

“We just came in with a large group and sat at a firepit. We were told to leave after a few min due to a large group reservation in an hour. We talked to the manager who told us we could stay for an hour until the reservation showed. Our table was ready after about 30 min. We were stuck in the back of a private area where 2 people didn’t receive their food until half way through and one person waited for a condiment for the entire meal. Another person got her drink order filled at the very end of the dinner. Before we left they seated 2 other tables extremely close to us when many many other tables were available! During a pandemic! Horrible experience from a usually very enjoyable place. Poorly poorly managed!”

I feel bad for not remembering out waiters name but he was incredibly personable and happy to spend the time talking to us about the food and joking around. He even took us on a private tour of the kitchen where upon entry the entire team greeted us. The head chef/owner is there every night cooking. Industrial brick with wood accents in the cozy front lead to a spacious back seating area with a variety of table sizes for solo sips or group meetups (I was there for a book club). Having vinyl for sale in the back adds to the experience. I came on a Case & Friends night, so it was busy and had awesome music provided by DJs (both local and visiting from out of state).
The staff was super welcoming — from the owner greeting me and showing me the menu, to the barista taking my order with friendly personal suggestions, to the chef walking my order to me with a flourish. I loved the Brown Sugar Sage Latte, and I’ll be back to try more of their espresso drinks for sure. They had a special offering of savory and sweet crepes, and they were amazing. The staff, food, ambiance, pricing, and space are all exactly what I’m looking for in a local, family-owned coffee shop.”

However, the bacon didn't quite meet expectations. To fully enjoy the variety of options, I would recommend trying the sampler to get a taste of everything Twin Peaks has to offer. My father opted for the Bloody Mary, and he highly recommends it. He also tried the fish-and-chips, which he found to be awesome and would definitely order again. As for my own choice, the spicy meatball parmesan was simply off the charts. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the dish was executed flawlessly. Moving on to dessert, we indulged in the Cinnamon Toast Crunch cheesecake and the Twin Peaks Sunday, specifically the first bite of the cheesecake reminded me of the delightful taste of fried ice cream. The Twin Peaks Sunday was equally amazing, with the combination of hot browning and cold ice cream creating a perfect harmony of flavors. Overall, Twin Peaks provided a memorable dining experience. I ordered a specialty slice (pepperoni, bacon and black olives, 1st topping is free and extras are $0.50), fried pickles, a plain quesabirria taco and a vanilla banana cream cake. The food was amazing. the pizza was perfectly cooked with a twisted, garlic and herb brushed crust, it was thin with a well cooked bottom and so big they give you a pizza cutter with your slice. The pickles were perfectly fries pickle chips, light, and crunchy with a good batter. The quesabirria taco looked messy- but dont judge it by its looks. it was perfectly cooked, no part of it was dry, the meat was super juicy and flavorful- but not super spicy so it was easy on my sensitive stomach. “Kembara is a restaurant full of elevated Asian street food, one dish after the other was the next best thing we've tasted. The flavors are divine! It is hard to put the explosion of flavors your palate tastes into words that would do justice to what we experienced with each bite but let me tell you, I can't wait to go back. Special thanks to Chef Angelo Sosa and Penny Tagliarina. We were fortunate enough to meet both of them and tour the kitchen, fan girl'd out to say the least. These humble humans are so kind and their passion for creating exquisite food and drinks has been knocked out of the park. They exude pride in what they do, and they do it well! The food and drinks are visually stunning, along with the atmosphere. We all enjoyed your delicious food Chef's (especially the Tuna Thai Jewel soup, Chicken Satay skewers, Low mein noodles, Fried Crab rice, and the Steamed Pork Dumplings, but let's not forget the epic drinks. The drink list is so unique we tried a few but hands down the winner tonight was called Joy Luck Club: it had Angel's Envy Bourbon, Pusser's Rum, Coconut Milk, and Yuzu. Chef Angelo rounded our evening out by sending over sake, I must say it was the best sake I've ever tasted) and the evening was everything we hoped it would be. Our server Megan went above and beyond by delivering an experience that matched no other. Her knowledge of the menu, drinks, creation of the meals, and restaurant makes her a true gem to this team.
