“Mike and I eat or takeout, almost every weekend, from Al Noor. The Owner/Cook and his family are very nice people. I am addicted to the Lobster Masala, especially when he adds shrimp (Seafood Masala) cooked in the delicious mushroom sauce. Mike doesn't eat seafood so he is hooked on their Chicken Tikka Masala, (it was the 1st thing I tried and feel in love with the dish also). I absolutely love this place, it's a clean, small but intimate spot with a convenient location. I would go to Sally's for hair products, get my nails done, eat at Al Noors and go to Walmart. Not always in that order. I never leave reviews but I had to, finally, share this place with you guys. Oh and don't forget the Garlic Buttered Nan!”

“A friend referred me to Stone and Cloth last year, when I told her I was looking for a new stone for my breakfast table. My mother and I walked into their shop pre-lockdown and were warmly welcomed by Kelly Kirby. She gave me great suggestions for a replacement stone and a list of the Stone Distributors in town to search for my desired slab. Her suggestion for the marble was spot on and that’s the one we selected for our breakfast table. Since I placed my order during the lockdown, installation was delayed until phase 2 would allow for work to commence. During the waiting period, Kelly worked with me regarding having my existing breakfast table stone retrofitted for one of my bathroom counters. They removed the existing sink and under-mounted a new one to freshen up bathroom. At the same time, we realized the remaining piece of the slab for the breakfast table would fit perfectly in a second bathroom and a new sink under-mounted as well. We are very pleased with the excellent fabrication of all of the stone work and the installers had been polite, thorough and efficient. I highly recommend using Stone and Cloth for all of your building needs.”

The only gripe was not finding it. From the road there is a lot for the electric depot. The facade of the building just looks like an office. You have to walk around the back.”

We noticed a few were dead and called and they let us know to wait and see if they wake up from being on ice. When we went to boil at 3 we noticed even more not moving and potentially dead. We brought them back and they kindly swapped it out for new crawfish. I appreciate them taking the time to show us a crawfish after being on ice and being kind to us and replacing them! “My first time here at J.Alexander's. So worth the trip from Lafayette. My entire meal has been remarkable. I ordered the red wine blend Parradoxx, which had a slight Pinot Nior flavor to it. I ordered a house salad with Blue Cheese dressing which was rich and full of woodsy flavors. My salad was a big hit with me. Vegetables were crisp and served with beautiful presentation. I ordered the Filet with Berinaise sauce and baked potatoe. It was cooked so perfectly that it was truly a work of art. For dessert I got the chocolate cake. I am not usually a chocolate fan at all but this did not disappoint!! The rich cocoa blended perfectly with the vanilla ice cream. Now for the service... my waiter, Ali, was so good. His knowledge of the menu was very good, but his quiet professionalism was undeniable. He checked all the boxes as to dressings and preparation, but he additionally checked for how and when you wanted everything served. Ali, eyes were constantly scanning to be certain that my meal and needs were being met. Now, I don't know anything about Ali, except that he was young, but he could have been at home in the finest restaurants in Chicago! His attention to detail made my incredible lunch even more spectacular! An incredible meal, prepared exquisitely, with a waiter like Ali! Just absolutely perfect!”

Since it was my first time there I approached the cashier and asked how the process works. I could not have approached a friendlier person. She was incredibly helpful and very accommodating. The servers were also very friendly and kept their areas very clean. Got my fried chicken with two sides and a drink. The chicken was exceptionally delicious. So very good.
