“We love this Japanese restaurant for the high food quality, high staff quality, reasonable prices in today's market & location! Today, I tried the Nigiri Lunch and loved it! My husband had the double meat chicken teriyaki and some of mine cause it looked so tasty, and it truly was scrumptious ! We started with the Crae crae roll (shared). In my Nigiri lunch, I upgraded the salmon to sockeye, one dollar more, but worth it! The miso soup was perfect for us as we watch our sodium and they only use low sodium soya sauce! The combination of food, service & cost is why they get 5 stars! Any staff we saw were very friendly & said hello & goodbye. Customer service is top notch! Aside note, their green tea is one of the best we've enjoyed, too!“

“I ordered four special rolls from the website for my friend’s birthday party, and they were a huge hit—gone in minutes! The sushi was absolutely delicious, super fresh, and beautifully made. The website was also really easy to use. Definitely the best sushi in Tsawwassen. Highly recommend everyone give it a try!“

“Todai Sushi is hands down my go to spot for sushi!! The food is always fresh and delicious, and the portions are generous for the price. Their rolls are packed with flavour (the crispy crunchy roll is a must try!!). The service is always friendly, warm and welcoming, the staff really make you feel taken care of, whether you’re dining in or ordering takeout.

The atmosphere inside is really cozy and relaxing, perfect for grabbing sushi with friends, a casual date night or even to just destress. I’ve tried a lot of sushi places in the area, but Todai definitely stands out for both quality and consistency. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great sushi spot in North Delta!“

“I've tried many sushi places and Sushi Wara is definitely the best I've tried so far! Their California rolls blow everyone else's out of the water and their chicken karaage is better than dedicated chicken restaurants!

I've ordered here constantly using Uber eats and never had any problems with delivery time being long.

“Good food, although a little high priced. The atmosphere is warm but the restaurant seating area is extremely restricted and very small. It was not too busy so it was not a problem. But something to be aware of. They would not be able to accommodate a large group.“

“I came here for Japanese food and it's really good , I don't really have any complaints at all.
-The mango Tango roll was like so amazing they had more than enough toppings and the flavor was like nothing I have had before
-the takoyaki was pretty good , I loved how the outside had a crispy shell , encasing the gooey inside. It was a tad pricy for how much we got though.
-the cherry blossoms roll was pretty good I loved how tangy and sweet it was.
-The veggie udon was solid , noodles had good texture , soup could use more flavor.
- the wasabi mayo prawn was alright , the sauce only tasted sweet and there wasent enough flavor so I had trouble finishing it.

Service was good , I will probably come back especially for that mango Tango roll.“

“The food was overall excellent. The flavors were clean and well-balanced, and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh.
I personally prefer sushi rolls with more filling than rice, and this place perfectly matched my taste. The ratio of the filling to the rice was exactly what I prefer. The seasoning was excellent, and the ingredients were fresh. My picky daughter also loved it, which made me like it even more.“

“I’ve eaten here a few times. When they first opened to the public I was so happy that Soup Curry had finally arrived to Vancouver. The soup was hot and everything cooked to perfection.

I came here recently greeted with lovely staff but the food just wasn’t quite right. The carrot was hard and soup was lukewarm. Reading the reviews, it looks like I wasn’t alone in this experience. The meat was tender though and I enjoyed the flavour profile. One thing I would ask especially since now fall and winter are arriving is that you serve your soup curry hot 🙏🏼 I hope to return next time seeing this change.“

“Aug 31/25: It's been quite a while since I've been back, but as soon as I came through the doors, one of the owners remembered me! She was as sweet as I last remembered, and she let me know the other wonderful owner, the chef, accommodated my food request, which I really appreciate.

The food is also still as I remembered —delicious, fresh, and high in quality. I will be back sooner for sure! (We had dynamite combo and gomae.)

“Excellent quality and delicious tasting sushi rolls at Woomi in New Westminster. Located inside a mall, this place offers excellent high quality sushi rolls at very reasonable and affordable prices.

Ordered the Sunshine Roll and Red Dragon roll. The dragon roll was spot on, the sashimi was fresh and the sauce flavours were great. Everything tastes fresh. The sunshine roll was also very good. Big large pieces of salmon sashimi that was great.

I’ll definitely will be coming back to this spot, it’s certainly a hidden gem for a sushi spot. The place is takeout only but there are seats inside the mall.

“Family had a craving for Japanese food so we tried this place out. Ordered online and it was efficient and the service was friendly. The restaurant in a Tuesday was very busy which is great to see. We ordered mainly sushi with a beef udon and a tofu donburi. Seafood was fresh and the sushi was well prepared. It’s not totally authentic food but it’s pretty tasty food.“

“Space is quite limited, but the interior is very nice, clean and cozy. The staff are super nice and accommodating!
We did have a long wait for the food but they did NOT disappoint! We got the hamburger steak set, chicken curry udon and two onigiris, everything checked all the points! Chicken was very soft, seasoning for everything was tasty, it felt exactly like a homemade meal!

“Loved everything about this place! We stopped by late night and had a bunch of their robata as well as some sashimi and tartare.

The robata was top notch. The charcoal grilling was done skillfully, adding smoky flavour to the skewers while the meat was cooked perfectly. My favourite was the chicken yakitori, but we also very much enjoyed the beef tongue, beef short ribs, ton toro, gizzard, and chicken skin. The shishamo was a bit on the salty side, but the grilling was done very well.

We also ordered the salmon belly sashimi and the toro tartare. The salmon belly was very fresh and presented nicely on ice. I also really enjoyed the toro tartare. The presentation was on point and the combination of textures and flavours was just right for me. The raw dishes were a great contrast to the robata!“

“Haven't been to Yuu for a while and we went back last week. Price didn't go up much despite the inflation. Kids order some special drink and the staff even gave them a small ice-cream cone to top it off. Great gesture. Would definitely be going back more often.“

Service was great, food arrived quickly despite a full restaurant. Staff are very attentive. I’ve dined here multiple times and will continue to recommend Wasuta to others.“

“We visited for the first time after the renovation, and they still serve delicious sushi rolls! The menu has expanded with lots of new options, and the portions are huge. Definitely recommend checking it out.

The only downside is the seating. The tables aren’t ideal for a family of five, and one side has a barrier that made it hard for my husband to eat comfortably. It would be great if they adjusted that layout or offered more family-friendly table options.“

“Me and the wife had the 88 dollar all you can eat menu and it was super worth it. Food quality was great, taste was fantastic, and the service was exceptional! Really really enjoyed our dinner experience. The only slight negative would be the 2nd order came a bit slow but that’s okay considering the quality did not dip.

“Had lunch omakase yesterday, and the ingredients were incredibly fresh. The chef and staff were very friendly and talkative! I was delighted to try a new sake. I can confidently say this is the highest quality omakase I’ve had in Vancouver—better than the two Michelin-starred Japanese restaurants I’ve tried before. The only thing I think could be improved is that the flavors were a bit on the salty side. If they were a touch milder, it would better highlight the freshness of the ingredients. Everything was a cut above the usual bento boxes. Tempuras and karaage were crispy but not greasy. Cabbage separated the BBQ chicken from the rice - a nice touch. Sashimi pieces were thick and firm.

Decor is well kept; place is clean. It’s not Tojo nor Miku, but then, neither are the prices. Recommended.“

“I was just strolling around the mall and decided to check out some nearby restaurants, I’m so happy I ended up here! The place feels cozy and welcoming, and the staff were super friendly and helpful.

I ordered the tempura, chicken karage seafood udon, and a crazy roll. Everything was honestly perfect. The tempura was super crispy (attempted to buy more) and dipping it in the soy sauce made it even better. The seafood udon had a nice sweet twist to the broth, and I asked them to make it spicy and it turned out absolutely perfect. The crazy roll was fresh and great too, I suggest to add creamcheese if you like creamcheese. I noticed it's a mix of japanese and korean dishes, which is perfect.

“Had the pleasure to go yesterday! Me and my partner went super early so there wasn't much people there. Great place as well. Decor and atmosphere wise wasn't anything amazing but definitely welcoming. Staff and the restaurant manager (I presume) were very friendly. Gave suggestions and explained things as well. The Salmon noodle was really good. Both my partner and I loved it as it was really fresh. The sauce was lovely as well! That sauce they make can literally go with anything! Except for the sashimi and the sushi of course. The fried oysters really hit me as well as it was washed very cleanly and had no bitter taste or chewiness to it. This place is not a big place so a group of more than 8 might be a bit hard to accommodate but definitely doable. The only thing that I couldn't find was a reservation button so hopefully as time progresses they can have a reservation button that can be done online! Wish this restaurant the best of luck and hopefully they grow more!“
