“I had a wonderful experience at Tomoto Indian Restaurant in Surrey. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared — you can really taste the authenticity in every bite. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family or friends.

“Took out a couple of items for dinner. It'd been years since I visited this small, homey eatery. The nametake (enoki mushroom) onigiri was very good. Nice size, and the mushrooms inside were cooked until tender with a savoury soy flavour. The ikura don was alright. I love salmon roe, but wished there was more ikura or teriyaki sauce, in proportion to the white rice. Both items had a small yellow pickled radish for garnish. While the ikura don fell a bit flat for me, for around $15, I can't complain. In total, both items came to $20.50. Slightly more than what I would have thought based on their online menu, but there may have been take out container costs included.

The place was busy with groups finishing their meal close to closing at 7 pm on a Wednesday. While it was simple enough to call in my order for takeout, I felt like service at pick up was a bit abrupt and not overly friendly. It took me a bit to collect my cash to pay, and there were no greetings as I took my food and left. Either way, the restaurant has been a neighborhood staple for years. Would return to try some more onigiri.“

They brought a beautiful high chair for the child, stylized with adult chairs and to match the overall interior. “We come here often because it's close to our family. The food is very standard dim sum, nothing special. I usually order the pan fried turnip cakes - it's usually really delicious but the last few times it has been dry, flavorless and bland. The rice rolls are a little too dry as well. They do have delicious baked BBQ pork buns though and their fried dishes are usually good.

The service is always 👍. They're very personable and friendly, and very efficient.

“chicken kebab was raw. prawns were not cooked. when I returned the food and asked for refund I was refused, even though the chef agreed the food was raw. if my family gets sick I will be revisiting the issue. I have reported Chef Kebab to the health inspection agency for this blatent refusal to deal with a health issue I will let everyone I know including govt authorities that I was not treated with respect and if my family gets sick.... that's a different issue“

“Dr. Phan is an exceptional doctor. Very good with kids that are naturally nervous around doctors. The facilities at the island Foot Clinics are very clean and orderly and you do not feel intimidated at all. I'd be bringing my child here as he is in need of a very good podiatist. Found that here at the Island Foot Clinics.“

“This was phenomenal. I have arrived from Toronto, Canada. I love the Toronto Maple Leafs but holy moly this was delicious and outstanding quality and service. Quantity was so much, I have taken it home with me. I would like to thank the entire family for their hospitality, love and passion. They have outdone themselves with their product and service. “Food is great, service is as friendly as you'll get at a Chinese restaurant, atmosphere is loud. May not be your cup of tea if you're looking for a peaceful, slow paced meal.

Highly recc the king crab. We've ordered it here several times and it's always been juicy! The fried garlic version is not as spicy as other locations, but still tasty overall.

Make sure to make a reso for dinner though - gets quite busy, even on weekday evenings.“
