“I was a little disappointed with some of the food as I thought it wasn't what we expected. I found staff had to be prompted to bring items and switch plates for us. I would have liked to order a drink but our server didn't ask if we needed anything else.“

The only thing is, they served it with a small portion of rice (as substitute) which our server happily asked the kitchen for more. The microwave is for pre-prepare food for the day. If she have to cook from scratch, it will take more time than now. “We come here often because it's close to our family. The food is very standard dim sum, nothing special. I usually order the pan fried turnip cakes - it's usually really delicious but the last few times it has been dry, flavorless and bland. The rice rolls are a little too dry as well. They do have delicious baked BBQ pork buns though and their fried dishes are usually good.

The service is always 👍. They're very personable and friendly, and very efficient.

“I’ve been to pretty much all the Neptune locations, and the Brentwood one is by far my favorite!!! Whenever my boyfriend and I can’t decide where to eat, we can always count on Neptune Brentwood for consistently great-tasting dishes. They’ve just never let us down.

Leon is the best!!! He really knows his stuff and has a true gourmet’s touch. He only recommends the freshest, highest-quality dishes and never tries to upsell. I love how passionate he is about what he does; you can tell he genuinely enjoys his work and is always happy to see returning guests.

My new favorites are the black truffle chicken and the black pepper Wagyu beef with cucumber. The Wagyu dish is so flavorful and perfectly seasoned. And of course, my all-time favorites are their dim sums, especially the rice rolls, which are honestly the best I’ve had at any dim sum place. I also highly recommend the Long Dan fish served in two courses, which is ideal for two people. For just $70, you can choose two different cooking styles. I usually go for a stir-fried version for the first course, which comes with a mix of fresh veggies, while still letting the fish’s natural umami shine through. For the second course, I go for the richer option: the fish is fried until crispy outside and tender inside, then simmered in a hot pot. It’s the perfect balance of protein, healthy fats, fiber, and vitamins - a truly well-rounded, satisfying meal to me

Special shoutout to the lovely Ada, who always reminds me not to forget my things ever since I left my purse there on my first visit lol. I also really appreciate how seriously she takes customer feedback. The first time I tried their dessert soup, I found it a bit too sweet and casually mentioned it to her. The next time I ordered it, I was pleasantly surprised by how perfectly balanced it was. I later learned Ada had personally tried it and asked the kitchen to adjust the sugar level. It might seem like a small thing, but it made me feel truly valued as a customer.

There are so many great restaurants in the Greater Vancouver area, and with new spots popping up all the time, it’s tempting to try something new. But for me, Neptune Brentwood is that one place I’ll always come back to for the incredible dining experience, warm vibe, attentive service, and above all, the delicious food.

“chicken kebab was raw. prawns were not cooked. when I returned the food and asked for refund I was refused, even though the chef agreed the food was raw. if my family gets sick I will be revisiting the issue. I have reported Chef Kebab to the health inspection agency for this blatent refusal to deal with a health issue I will let everyone I know including govt authorities that I was not treated with respect and if my family gets sick.... that's a different issue“

“This is a very popular place in River district. It can get packed during peak dinner times but the wait time was reasonable, less than 30min when I went best to call and reserve a table. Food tastes and looks great. Presentation is very good with ample staff on hand to provide service. Bench seating and individual tables for 2 and 4+ guests available. Now you can order on a tablet mounted next to your table. Free Parking available on a surface lot to the right of the restaurant or underground parking for the Save On Foods / Local Public Eatery / etc.. Commercial businesses. You can also order online for pickup at a particular time as well. Check out their menu online before going because there are lots of great choices to try.“

“This Korean restaurant is well-established and serves authentic Korean food, attracting a large Korean clientele. However, they urgently need to address their air conditioning issues. With the temperature reaching 30 degrees yesterday, it was uncomfortable as we were sweating while trying to enjoy our meal.“

“Came here for dim sum on the weekend and parking is very very busy. There is street parking if you're willing to walk a couple blocks.

Make sure to make reservations, especially if you have a large party.

Dim sum is pretty good, and the size are fine too.

Tried their "World Famous" butter chicken but with lamb instead of chicken. Was afraid it would be gimmicky but it was probably the best I've had in the city so far. Also recommend their Aloo Paratha, crispy exterior with warm spiced potato in between. Heavenly! Mango Lassi was very refreshing, great mango flavours and not too overpowering in spices.

Service was very friendly as well. Will definitely be back! Within walking distance of Moody Centre skytrain or there is plenty of free parking in the plaza.“

“This is a great place for deep fried fish and chips. I have never eaten in there. It is more of a grab and go type place.

The crab sandwich is more like a light burger than a sandwich. It has enough crab but at the same time it is easy to finish quickly without noticing.“

Dining Manager Sam helped us order Alaska King Crab and other favorite dishes for dinner.

Manager Sam personally helped me handpick a very fresh and live Alaska King Crab, which was prepared and cooked in three different dish styles: steamed with garlic, salt and pepper, and seafood stir-fried rice.

Thanks to Manager Sam and all waiters and waitress, it was a busy Mother's Day evening, but service quality is as good as usual with zero compromise.

After dinner desert and biscuit was great.

Wrapped up all those biscuit for coffee times during day times.

“Pajo’s is still the best Fish and Chips for me in BC. Nothing beats their crispy yet airy batter that makes every bite so good. It also comes with unlimited chips and drinks which makes the every order worth it.

They also serve fish tacos, hotdogs, and burgers. You can’t go wrong ordering these too.

Only downside is they can get really busy on a crowded sunny day so a lot of patience is needed. But the long wait is truly worth it. A weekday visit should be more quiet.“
