“Went there for breakfast around 10am and it was nice and empty. Food came out fast and tasted good. Came with a lot of basil and cilantro. They have an extensive menu. Only downside is the parking directly behind the restaurant is limited to 5-6 spots. If it’s full you have to park in the parking garage“

“Came here for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. And ordering was very easy since you do it through a QR code but you can also ask for a menu and order that way as well. Food came within 10 to 15 minutes and everything was very hot and fresh. The meat pies were really hot and filled with yummy juices. The scallion pancakes were very very yummy. I highly recommend getting the cucumbers. Service was decent but don't be expecting conversations from these ladies. They bring you your food and that's about it. I can't wait to come back and the prices are so worth it.“

Highly recommend you order in advance and do it through their preferred app, chowbus. I tried to call and also walked in but person working as a cook and handles the counter does not speak English.

I didn’t notice the QR codes placed on each table but fortunately had a nice English-speaking patron help me order. To streamline, I asked her to order the best sellers. The restaurant was completely out of cha siu so here’s what I ended up with:

Claypot with sausage and cured meat.
Claypot with Chicken, mushrooms, and spare ribs.
Two variations of the chicken soup with ginseng and emperors herbs.
And of course, a box of Portuguese Egg Tarts.

“I never thought I’d find good pho around here — I was honestly hesitant to try since, you know, it’s pho! I usually have to drive all the way to Orange County for a decent bowl. But this spot totally blew my mind.

I got takeout Pho Tái Nạm (rare beef + brisket) for $14.50, and the portion was huge! You can literally split it into two bowls — and that’s coming from someone who eats a lot 😅. The broth had no strong MSG taste, not too sweet, just super flavorful and fragrant.

It was so good I ordered takeout again the very next day! I even got 15% off during happy hour — a bit less meat that time, but still totally worth it.

Definitely my new go-to pho spot now! 🍜“

“1st time trying Pho Waffle and Grill. It's a small place but as usual small places have the greatest of foods. I ordered the Salmon Bowl and also the Beef Pho to go. If it's raining and you want some warm pho. This is the spot for you. Close to South Gate, Lynwood, Bell Gardens, Downey and Paramount. It has drive thru and a small mom and pop restaurant that should definitely be supported for the great food. Had Beef Pho and Shrimp Pho, with Creamy ragoons and Veggie Egg rolls topped off with Tai Tea. Yum!!! #TheSpot“

“Waited in the rain for about 40 minutes. Was glad this place didn't dissappoint. Beef Bowl, Dumplings, and Beef Noodles were really good. I got so full I couldn't try the Dan Dan Noodles or Spicy Beef Soup. Not pictures was the shrimp fried rice which was also tasty. Would come back again.“

“This new location seems smaller than their previous spot. Doesn't seem they're fully set up yet as we got disposable bowls for rice and individual disposable cups for hot tea ($1.50 per person).

Food is still consistent though! Mushroom in brown sauce ($12.95), vege fish in brown sauce ($12.50), and tofu pumpkin hot pot ($12.95) are still good choices and they're all on the lunch special menu!

Surface level parking in the plaza gets congested very easily, so try the 2 levels of underground parking for more spots.“

The tempura was good, sauce was great too. Katsu was fried perfectly, sauce was tangy and fantastic, just wish the pork was more moist/tender. Karaage was just okay, probably wouldn’t order it again, most of the flavor came from the sauce. My dad loved his eel bowl set, flavored and cooked well. My katsudon bowl was delicious, again katsu was a little dry, togarashi is a must with this bowl. And the cold soba noodles were great, the sauce dip was perfectly seasoned and noodles were perfect texture, very refreshing to eat.

This place seemed like the obvious choice, and far exceeded my expectations. Food came out fast and blistering hot, but still perfect temperature to eat right away. The Mala was very spicy as soon as I got it. I removed all the chilies, and it was still spicy but delicious. I started mixing both broths to balance spiciness, and it was delicious. They have a self-serve buffet with many options, and the meats are ordered at the table. My favotire was the pork belly, shrimp and the fish filet. My mouth is watering just thinking about it ?. “Super addicting broths. I usually get the sukiyaki and the mala and they both had a good balance. Service feels very family run, which is awesome. Place is pretty nice and calm, making for a relaxing meal. Not the largest assortment of toppings but it has everything you need: veggies, seafood balls, noodles, mushrooms, etc. Really great meat portions per serving. Kinda fatty but honestly I don't care lol Value is good and prices are comparable to other AYCE hotpot/shabu places. Unlimited soda and teas as well as Thrifty ice cream you scoop yourself. “When I first arrived to this restaurant, I didn’t see any other diners and was quite hesitant. But soon enough they proved my ‘pre-thoughts’ wrong.
Definitely one of the best Vietnamese home cooked meals at a restaurant in the area. The flavour is so authentic that can transport you back to the Southern of Vietnam (mien Tay) in a bite. We ordered the lunch set for family and cannot fault a thing. It came with canh chua, ca chien, goi tom thit, ca kho, bap cai chua. Flavour was mouth watering and all very good value for money. This is such a hidden gem. Highly recommend!“
