Secret favorite… I typically pick up Porto’s Chicken Empanadas and Potato Balls with spicy beef but this is a great alternative depending on proximity or commute route 🏎️

Highly recommend you order in advance and do it through their preferred app, chowbus. I tried to call and also walked in but person working as a cook and handles the counter does not speak English.

I didn’t notice the QR codes placed on each table but fortunately had a nice English-speaking patron help me order. To streamline, I asked her to order the best sellers. The restaurant was completely out of cha siu so here’s what I ended up with:

Claypot with sausage and cured meat.
Claypot with Chicken, mushrooms, and spare ribs.
Two variations of the chicken soup with ginseng and emperors herbs.
And of course, a box of Portuguese Egg Tarts.

The beef tasted fresh and the soup is full of flavor and very tasty. They serve a very good portion size for the price. We have tried all the pho resturants in the area. It had a unique blend of spices that gave it a slightly sweet, aromatic depth, and the beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender. What made it even better? It came with a warm, soft baguette on the side—perfect for dipping into the broth. So simple, but such a game changer.

I also tried their vermicelli special, and it did not disappoint. It came beautifully arranged with grilled meats, fresh herbs, and crispy spring rolls—all bursting with flavor and texture. Every bite was balanced and satisfying.

If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese flavors with a creative twist, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Love that this is in Bell gardens! I no longer have to travel for good pho! I tried the spicy beef pho -so good, however I think next time I’ll get the regular beef pho, so I can control the flavors a bit more. I also got the milk tea. The flavor was great and not too sweet which Is great given that some places over due it with the sweetener. Women who helped was friendly with a lovely smile. I used the drive thru this time next time I’ll give sitting in a go.“

It's not Chinese fast food, it's a sit down restaurant. Surprised it wasn't crowded as the food is delicious. The location is a little non-descript but street parking was easy. I live in Gardena and although there are several Chinese restaurants, none are good. This was a lucky find as restaurant reviews in general tend to result in a bad choice.“

I really enjoyed the Hinodeya flavored broth. Next time, I'll definitely going for the tonkotsu ramen. All of the staffs are so friendly that you'll want to come back! Lastly, do yourself and get the appetizers. All are so good but the brussel sprouts stood out. Well done!“

“Everything we had here was fantastic! I loved the mango iced tea because it actually tastes like mangos, the chicken was nice and crunchy on the outside, juice and delicious on the inside. We also had xiao baos and their dry noodles with peanut butter sauce which were both fantastic! I would recommend against getting their devils hot sauce unless you have like an amazing spice tolerance! I thought my spice tolerance was fine because i can handle tapatio and valentina easily but this sauce left me chugging my drink and feeling the chili under my tongue for hours!“

“Solid, Taiwanese and Chinese vegetarian and vegan classics. And a wonderful and clean atmosphere too! Love the lunch specials, the service, and the variety. The only downside is that the menu is huge! Too hard to make a decision, but the staff helped share some of their own favorites. They recommended the Taiwanese classics: popcorn basil chicken, lettuce wraps, soup noodles. And I really loved the chicken with orange peel.“

“Came here after a Dodger game and was very happy with the food, service, and quiet atmosphere. All the food was delicious and came out quick. It was exactly what we needed.

Staff informed us right away there is no bathroom in the restaurant but directed us to the nearest one if needed.“

“This place has good Korean food. It's a good place to bring your family or friends. Your mother or grandmother will not complain about the food. They give large portions and the side dishes are really good. Services quick and very friendly. “Cute homey Japanese vibes. It’s a small restaurant so I can see there’d be a wait on busy days. Luckily we only had to wait about 5 min. The menu is straightforward. Comfort Japanese dishes. Service was great, they’re super nice and very attentive!

The tempura was good, sauce was great too. Katsu was fried perfectly, sauce was tangy and fantastic, just wish the pork was more moist/tender. Karaage was just okay, probably wouldn’t order it again, most of the flavor came from the sauce. My dad loved his eel bowl set, flavored and cooked well. My katsudon bowl was delicious, again katsu was a little dry, togarashi is a must with this bowl. And the cold soba noodles were great, the sauce dip was perfectly seasoned and noodles were perfect texture, very refreshing to eat.

Parking - small free lot! We had no issues getting parking.“

I was at the court all day and thought I had time to eat dinner until 9 because that's when google said they closed today saturday. “Me and the husband went here for the first time. We chose the premium as we didn't like any of the meats or broths in the prime option. I ordered the sukiyaki broth and the native chongquin Mala. The Mala was very spicy as soon as I got it. I removed all the chilies, and it was still spicy but delicious. I started mixing both broths to balance spiciness, and it was delicious. They have a self-serve buffet with many options, and the meats are ordered at the table. My favotire was the pork belly, shrimp and the fish filet. My mouth is watering just thinking about it ?. Their service was great, for sure we're going again this weekend ?“

“do not let the casual exterior of this building fool you - they're serious about food here. came on a Saturday night and it was packed, but they managed to seat us almost immediately! win. we ordered their lobster supreme, roasted duck, and some scrambled eggs with shrimp. rice and soup came with the meal. the lobster? fresh. delicious. chopped for easy eating ( true lobster monsters know how difficult it can be to eat this crustacean when it is improperly prepared! ) duck? delicious and toasty and very flavorful. and the scrambled egg and shrimp is a good, not too salty, meal balancer. very fluffy and soft. the tea they served was also brewed very well, very fragrant and none of the burnt taste. 10/10 would visit again and maybe try some of the other special meals (I gotta come back for the garlic crab)

“When I first arrived to this restaurant, I didn’t see any other diners and was quite hesitant. But soon enough they proved my ‘pre-thoughts’ wrong.
Definitely one of the best Vietnamese home cooked meals at a restaurant in the area. The flavour is so authentic that can transport you back to the Southern of Vietnam (mien Tay) in a bite. We ordered the lunch set for family and cannot fault a thing. It came with canh chua, ca chien, goi tom thit, ca kho, bap cai chua. Flavour was mouth watering and all very good value for money. This is such a hidden gem. Highly recommend!“
