“Dogs and wine! What is better?“
“The food and cocktails were incredible! I really liked the chicken jus that comes with the chicken skewers, which were perfectly glazed and the corn bowl was amazing too. Our cocktails were excellent and they have a well balanced wine list which we will try next time, since we’re coming back next week for the flank steak and pork chop.“
“Great wines, great ambiance & great folks! Give them a follow & visit!“
“Absolutely fantastic wines!!! What Brett and the team at Levo have built is truly special—a wine brand rooted in honest, organic, and sustainable practices that consistently delivers amazing wines and an incredible experience. Every bottle reflects their passion, craftsmanship, and commitment to doing things the right way. Highly recommend Levo!“
“My choice for what to recommend for Turtle Rock from Facebook suggestions were things like picnics and ambiance etc. How about the MFing wine? We shipped a ton of wine back from our last trip to Paso and the one we keep going back to over and over is Turtle Rock. Drinking the G2 tonight with a petite filet and it’s just awesome. Comes out of the bottle like ink with leather and earth and like stewed cherry and plum. The more we drink the more we love TR.“
“We had a fabulous time at Donati. We were just passing by but stopped and glad we did. We had wine tasting and spirit tasting. The host was great. She even provided some books for our daughter to look at and offered her some juice. We will be back.“
“Came down with six friends - 2 from San Francisco, 3 from LA, and 1 from Dallas. If you are coming to Paso Robles, you MUST make this a stop on your trip. The owners and every staff member made us feel incredibly welcome, engaged in conversation, and shared tons of information to give us the best experience.
Could not imagine a better wine tasting tour. Alyssa was also incredible. A first-class experience discussing every aspect of the winery and how this all came to be.
Could not recommend more.“
“Wine tasting was fabulous! Everyone was so friendly and informative about the wine.“
“Just opened a Sangiovese Reserva that I cellared from 2015 which proved to be an excellent wine. Smooth, fruity with good medium body and paired well with a pasta bolognese dish. Decanted for about an hour before the meal but got even better as the time went on. Only wished I had another bottle, very pleased with this winery and it's staff. Thank you Morgan!“
“We usually share our reviews on Tock or Cellarpass, but we wanted to note here how special Torrin is if you’re ever visiting the Paso area. We are always impressed by both the winemaker and his work, which is why we joined the club. We are big fans of Lagom, but we equally enjoy Banshee and Akasha. Aly is also one of the main reasons we look forward to each visit—she is truly a treasure. The wines speak for themselves, but it’s the welcoming and personable people at Torrin who truly win us over.“
“HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This is an impressive family oriented winery place. It’s beautiful and uses a dry method. Dean was an amazing and knowledgeable wine expert and walked through every type which by the way we loved each one. We also met Lucas and Nicole! Thank you so much!“
“Lovely couple and made a trip really memorable talking to them and being so knowledgeable about the wines. Thanks Nikki.
A good deal for tasting at 20 dollars each and then we brought 2 wines so only paid for one tasting.
Would recommend a visit.
I hope they both get to the UK one day to see Wrexham x We will enjoy the lovely when when we get to Bakersfield!“
“We enjoyed our stay here at Dark Star Cellers. We were here about 4 years ago and we did a tasting at that time but we have to say we really enjoyed the wines this time they seem to be a little more mature and the server gave us a great information on each of the wines and we enjoyed all eight wines in the tasting. We are also part of Harvest Host and we stayed on the property overnight. Very quiet, very nice and enjoy this place. We will be back again in the future.“
“PIUS Estates is an absolute gem in Paso Robles! The property is stunning with beautiful vineyard views, modern architecture, and so many picturesque spots to relax and take photos. The atmosphere is peaceful, elegant, and perfect for a wine tasting or a relaxing afternoon with friends.
The wines were excellent, and the staff made the experience even better. Everyone was welcoming, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain each pour without making us feel rushed. Every detail of the winery feels thoughtfully designed, from the outdoor seating areas to the landscaping overlooking the vineyards.
If you’re visiting Paso Robles, PIUS Estates is definitely worth adding to your itinerary. I can’t wait to come back!“
“Absolutely wonderful. Jackie, Steve and Anna are just incredible and kind. Wines are stunning and beautiful. Bring your own lunch and enjoy the beautiful outdoor. The family will stop by and meeting them is a treat. Shared favorite restaurants and all about their wine making process. Def must stop here when in Paso! Make it a must stop.“
“Absolutely loved our experience! They have a lot of unique wines, mostly white, almost beautiful skin contacts and orange wines. Our host was lovely and walked through the whole story behind the winery. The labels on the wines are beautifully designed!! ❤
The backyard was super comfortable, and we did a little tour in the facility too.“
“This place is amazing from the wine to the staff to the views. Such a friendly laid back place. Can't say enough about Croad my favorite winery“
“Absolutely Love this place! Thank you Chase & Meghan for all your knowledge“
“Am a white wine drinker , but I loved all of the reds ! Am now a wine club member !“
“My wife and went to Volatus based on reviews and we are adding 5 star. Daniel our wine guide was fantastic. Great knowledge of wines and the Paso Robles area. We went on a Wednesday so we had the tasting room to ourselves. The red wines were full bodied and are drinking very well now, and will age nicely. Daniel explained we are in a slow period ( just a few days) as the wine festival had just passed and we are entering Memorial day weekend. The vibe and energy was excellent. Cheers to the owner and all he does.“
“Beautiful wines! Nick (winemaker) led our tasting and he was just as awesome as the wines he makes. We immediately joined and are happy members! If you love Syrah, Nick knocks it out of the park. Most memorable surprise was his Grenache. SO good!! Check out Nicora!“
“Katie was awesome. The hostess with the mostess. 🍷 🍺 🥃“
“What’s not to love about Fratelli Perata? As soon as you drive up, you are transported to Italy, gazing upon miles of rolling hills of vineyards as you get out of your car. Walking in, classic Italian music plays softly as one of the Perata family members greets you. The tasting menu is unique for Paso, focusing mainly on Italian varietals - and what lovely expressions they are. You’ll learn about the Perata family history while sipping on yummy Barbera and Sangiovese. You’ll want (at least) one of every bottle before you leave, guaranteed. We can’t wait to come back!“
“Great tasting experience with Stan. Exotic wines and incredible ports.“

“My favorite winery, the wines (dry farmed,), amazing and perfect for my palate! The Bistro food is outstanding and the service warm, friendly and attentive ~ My go to to bring my friends and family when the come for a visit here in my area. Also… spectacular views!🍷🤗“
“If you're a wine enthusiast looking for something truly special, Diablo Paso is a must-try. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you! Be sure to ask for Deb when you visit the tasting room. She’s incredibly friendly and can provide expert guidance on the wine selection.“
“Had a fantastic time at Tudor for a wine tasting. As big Pinot Noir fans, we were thrilled with theirs beautifully made and full of character. The ice wine was an unexpected highlight and absolutely fantastic, a real standout of the tasting. Great wines, a wonderful setting, amazing service and an experience we’d happily repeat. Highly recommend if you’re touring wineries in Paso Robles!“
“The service is exceptional along with their wines selection“
“I have to admit that we were disappointed that Bodegas Paso Robles was not in this location anymore. But what a pleasant surprise to find some excellent wines in Cendre. Their GSM is so good we bought a bottle for dinner.“
“Went for lunch on a recent trip to California. Everything was very nice and their wine is excellent. Too bad that it is not located at the vineyard. The best experience that I have had at other places was restaurants and tasting rooms at vineyards, often with great views of the vines.“
“Outstanding zins with lots of character but not too much fruit! spicy and wonderful. small batch winery. Get some while you can!“
“An umami pairing experience with LXV Wine and Bakersfield’s Noodle Bar. LXV owners and the chef from Noodle Bar matched the wines and meals perfectly👌🏼Pairings with LXV Wine is a must do experience!“
“Wonderful wine at a reasonable price for non-elites.“
“Love their Chopping Block, Honey Bunny wines!“
“It’s a great place. Great people. Great wine. Good times. Though the guy who runs the wine club needs to work on his people skills“
“I'm obsessed! The wine, service, and grounds are nothing short of outstanding. Ascunsion Ridge is a small operation run by beautiful, honest people that love what they do. Each wine I sampled was complex and beautifully balanced. Everything was beyond my expectations and I loved my time here so much I couldn't help but sign up for a membership. I can't wait to come back!“
“I just tried a bottle last night and loved it. I like Merlot and Bordeaux blends, Daou, and Pomeral. This fit right into my sweet spot. Nice fruits, enough tannin for structure and a smooth finish. A nice surprise alone and nice for entertaining..“
“It’s one of the best wine bars in San Luis Obispo county offering a wide array of domestic and international wines by the bottle or by the glass. I find the prices to be competitive and the bartenders very knowledgeable with their craft. I highly recommend this lace to anyone who wants to sample local Paso Robles and international wines. Don’t take my word for it, come and visit soon.“
“It's by the unmaned train station. Owner Sam and Takashi are wonderful! The wine tasting is super reaonable and wines beautifully made by Sam! It is just run by one person, but the service and hospitality is top notch! If you are in Paso Robles it is a must to visit. If taking the train at 4 15pm you should go 2 hrs early and enjoy the wines there. Really loved this place. Highly recommended!“
“Great wines in a beautiful, relaxed environment. Shout-out to Paul and Joe for looking after us. We loved the whole vibe and how fun and casual the tasting was.
If you're thinking about stopping off for a tasting, I would highly recommend it. 👏“
“Awesome product, friendly folks and a comfy tasting room. Highly recommended“
“Beautiful setting. Fantastic wines. And very nice people. Highly recommend.“
“Wonderful time with my bride wine tasting - all the way from Maine. Nice place to visit and chill out for a couple hours.“
“My husband and I and two friends went for a tasting. We are red wine fans and these wines were great - full expression of the fruit done with finesse. We went straight to the reds and they have a lot of reds to choose from. Some of our favorites were the Grenache, Tannat, and two versions of Petite Sirah. The tasting was hosted by the wine maker - a down to earth guy with making great wines his highest priority. Go. You won't be disappointed.“
“Great owners and great wines“
“Went to Rotta on a Sunday afternoon on a whim. The young lady who helped us was a wealth of information. The wines were fantastic and the view was spectacular. What a great day“
“Caliza was a lovely and relaxing winery to start the morning off slow. The wines were great, the scenery was serene and the service was interactive and quite friendly. Our server was from the area and had lots of recommendations for us and even wrote them out so we'd remember! The flagship wine Azimuth is that for a reason. Definitely wonderful and a great souvenir to take home!“
